New glasses from Burntwood practice they were helpful, friendly and gave good advice, really pleased with my specs

I recently took my son who wanted to use contact lenses at school instead of having glasses. He was given a two week trial to see whether they would be suitable for him first. He got on better with them than I had expected. I thought the team were very good and knowledgeable with him. Thank you all

Fantastic service from start to finish. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all my questions. Everything was explained clearly, and I never felt rushed. It’s refreshing to find an optician that genuinely cares about their customers. But also to support local family run business Would recommend!

Quoted me £390 to supply and fit lenses to my own frames. Same lenses supplied and fitted at Frames 4 U £180. Needlessly to say I saved myself £210.

I am a First time customer at Colin Lee in Alridge. After several weeks back and forth with Vision Express not able to provide me with glasses I could see out off, I decided to try an independant opticians.
So pleased to have found Colin Lee. Although this was not 3rd eye test in 2 months, 2 of which were with Vision Express, my 3rd time lucky experience proved to be the best decision I made. Collected my glasses, and right First time. Thanks to the superb team, at Colin Lee in Alridge. The staff here are friendly, helpful and brilliant. A special mention to Dan for your expertise and care and for giving me the ability to see a computer screen. There's no looking back. You can keep the conveyor belt of your Vision Express and Specsavers stores. I am a returning customer to Colin Lee in Alridge.

I've been a customer at Colin Lee in Rugeley for the last few years. In the last three, I have been seen by Abigail Nobes and received the highest levels of customer care. As Abigail carries out the tests, she explains what she's doing and what the tests are designed to show. There's also a reconfirmation of medication I'm taking and in-depth discussion of any changes I've may have experienced with my sight. A lot of time is spent testing and determining any changes in my eyesight and you can tell, by the flipping of lenses and asking of questions, that this is not just a box ticking exercise, but a real desire to ensure it's right. I always come away from the appointments with a sense of satisfaction of a job "well done" and it's time to acknowledge that!

I have been a patient of Colin Lee (Opticians) for over thirty years and have always been completely satisfied with the quality of service and treatment. This latest consultation was also 'Five Star' in every respect.

Had nhs diabetes eye test which was very thorough and also a OCT TEST two days later with a proper eye check ( annual ) aswell also very thorough took my glasses
They said my own glasses we’re still good for me so I didn’t need to replace
There was plenty to choose from if I did
The staff there were fantastic and very helpful also being very professional and very friendly

Do not trust Colin Lee Opticians at the Fox and Goose Shopping Centre. They will take your money and give you a pair of glasses that cannot be worn, and they will refuse to give you a refund. If you value your eyesight health and your money, then visit any other Optician rather than Colin Lee. I had an eye test at Colin Lee which was done wrong and the prescription was too weak. There is a tiny choice of frames at Colin Lee. The staff don’t offer a choice of different vari-focal types and they only provide the cheapest and lowest quality of vari-focals. Twice I received new glasses that were damaged on collection. With my new glasses, I could not see through the lens and could not read, and despite telling the staff twice, my concerns were dismissed. I paid over £200 for a new pair of glasses which were not fit for purpose and I could not see anything through them, and Colin Lee refused a refund, so I will be throwing the glasses into the bin. I later went to a different and far superior Opticians who provided a perfect pair of glasses which I could wear immediately from the store. Colin Lee are the worst opticians so I would recommended you going elsewhere if you value your eyesight health. This was posted on behalf of my mother.
