Collabera got me a job and it turned out to be a year contract. My HR person from Collabera called me 3 weeks before my contract was to end. She informed me they extended my contract until Aug 2027. Great I didn't need to worry. Wrong! She called me The last day of my contract, 1 1/2 hours after my shift ended to tell me they ended my contract. No explanation no nothing! I asked a month earlier during our monthly meeting, what would happen if they didn't renew my contract. I was told we would know ahead of time and they would find me a job. NONE of that happened.

I’ve been receiving messages from two different employees at Collabera. I spoke with one of them, and we actually had a pretty long conversation—almost 30 minutes. She explained things in her own way, and I kept asking similar questions in different ways to make sure I understood everything correctly.

She told me there would be a **4-week training period**. I thought, okay, that sounds reasonable. She then said that **after the second week, I would have to sign a contract**. Fine.

Then I asked what would happen if I decided to break the contract. She said there would be a **$5,000 fee**. Her explanation was that they would be spending a lot of money on me, and that was the reason for the fee. She said that after the second week, they would be paying **$14/hour for my training for the remaining two weeks**.

Anyway, after talking about other things for a while, I asked her, **“When will I know whether I’m actually being hired?”**

She said, **“After the fourth week.”**

I was like, wait a minute. If you make me sign a contract after the second week, and then after the fourth week you decide not to hire me because I wasn’t selected, **I would still have to pay the $5,000 fee, right?**

I literally pointed this out to her.

Her tone immediately changed, and she became very defensive. Honestly, it was kind of funny to watch.

She then told me she would email me a form that I needed to fill out and approve.

**DO NOT SIGN IT.**

I only looked at it because I wanted to see what it contained, and it was giving me **major scam-alert vibes**.

The moment I rejected it, they started sending me LinkedIn connection requests and calling me repeatedly.

It’s honestly ridiculous.

**Stay away from them.**

Just keep in mind that the names of the employees representing this company seem to change frequently, which is why I’m intentionally not mentioning any names.

This company is terrible. I received a job offer for a start date very soon after my last interview. After signing the letter the said, "It is expected that you stop interviewing elsewhere". I left my job at the time, then my start date was pushed back after a pending background check. 6 weeks later Amazon rescinded my offer via the Collabera.

There was a severe lack of transparency throughout the entire process, and now they will not communicate with me. I no longer have access to my offer letter and they will not extend anything to me.

I spoke with recruiter, Srishti Gupta, on the phone. She possessed a Charlotte, NC number but LinkedIn said she was located in NY. It was difficult to understand her accent and she kept repeating herself. The fact her email says “Talent Expert” makes me question what was so expert about this experience.

She fabricated the resume I sent her by adding info that wasn’t truthful in order to try and beef up the info. She advised her manager, Denzil Seth, needed to speak with me. A Google calendar call was scheduled for 1:15p. By 1:35p, no call, so I called Srishti and immediately she said Denzil is about to call you without listening to why I called. No call and then at 2:06p, the # from Charlotte, NC text me and asked if Denzil had called. I said No.

The text continued with did you call him. I said, I was not given his number. I was then texted a 212 area code number. Google revealed the number was for a business in Chicago and Linkdin said Denzil was in NJ. Something wasn’t right.

I told the # from Charlotte that Denzil # was for a business in Chicago. 17 minutes later, a text said “We submitted your application. My manager got into a meeting and that’s why he was not able to call”.

I sent an email and text the Charlotte number and told them they provide a poor image of Collabera and I’m no longer interested in working with their company.

It’s interesting the excuse Srishti gave as to why her manager couldn’t call. He could have sent a quick email if he had any professionalism and respect in his body.

I contacted Bank of America regarding this interaction. Either Collabera is a scam or BofA hires incompetent and unprofessional recruiters.

These guys are nothing but a scam and out here targeting on people who are desperate for a job and genuinely trying to obtain employment.
They call multiple times a day, and continue to hang up and call back to the point of harassment.
I then received an email and text about a possible position working from home with training starting at $35.00 hr. As I have already been scammed by these crooks before, I decided to text back asking more about the position, and when I stated that it was too good to be true however I had been scammed in the past, I was ignored, and left with my questions left unanswered (just like I figured). This is absolutely disgusting! Targeting on people whom are really needing employment and desperate for a paycheck. And shame on Indeed for not monitoring these clowns and removing them from their site. Stop wasting peoples time!!

This company claims with pride on its website that their employees help other organisations with their professional approach with people. Well, my experience differs. Out of the Blue I was contacted by Collabera. I had an email from Keval Darji to provide him my contact details and time slots when I was available as he had a client who was moving quickly and he wanted to discuss a job with me. I did this promptly but never had any call from him. I phoned him and when answered he asked me to give him 5 minutes and he would call back. 5 days later I still have not heard from him. Very poor indeed.
