This is a larger electrical supply company that bought out a small Allentown, PA electrical supply house called Lighting Fixture & Supply. As is the result in most of these cases, when Colonial Electric Supply bought out Lighting Fixture & Supply they made many promises that they did not keep. They promised that the service & product lines we were used to would continue but after the buyout they discontinued product lines, raised prices, & cut staff which resulted in customer service plummeting. In addition they looked for other ways to raise revenue such as hitting you with finance charges. I used Lighting Fixture & Supply for over 30 years and was very happy with the service but after Colonial Electric Supply took over I had to go elsewhere for my electrical supplies.
