When I opened my account, this bank promised me 50 euros opening bonus. I casually made a follow up after 3 months and they said after one month you will receive it.

After 6 months , when I made a follow up, they said you are not eligible to recieve it because you did not agree to receive our marketing promotions. This is very deceitful and they didnt mention anything like this while I was opening my account.

Really one start is too many. If you call the help line you will wait an hour and then they will "accidentally" get disconnected. The bankers at the office in Berlin are incredibly rude. There is no reaching a human who behaves like a competent human.

When they need you, they are the most kind people on earth, when you need them you cannot find them

The company introduced photo-TAN without providing me with any notice regarding this. I have been unable to access my bank account for 10 weeks and have been trying to cancel both my bank account and investment account for nine weeks due to this and the general apathy regarding trying to do anything to help me resolve things.
To date I am still awaiting for the funds to be transferred into my new account while trying to eke out the cash I have in my house, which is infuriating when I have tens of thousands of Euros seemingly being held to ransom!

My daughter opened a student account online with Commerzbank. They asked her to go to the branch in-person. At the branch this guy asked for proof of a job or regular income. They didn't accept the blocked account documents and insisted on salary slip. For a student account. She's in Germany for less than 20 days yet!! The bank employee tore up her documents (photocopies) right there. Didn't even give them back. Tore up!!

Quick help whenever I need something for my business.

I tried to send a wire to Ukraine B2B - Commerzbank was on the middle and returned wire back motivating that area is occupied. That area is not occupied and looks like someone doesn't know geography. Lack of knowledge.... I sent email to the bank with my contact info - bank clerk responded asking asking to provide name and contact info....they are scoffing.

Avoid this bank, the security guy keeping clients outside like a sheep's waiting for their food !! The costumer Service is like robots 🤖 without emotions or respect. I was 7x times at different branches to open new bank account but without any results. European ID card is not enough, you need to bring passport, you need to do your identification online, you cannot do identification online you need city registration, city registration shout net be older than 6 months..... and so and so and so. 2 months like this , at the end neighborhood bank done for me account in 5minutes just with ID card ....

I want to open a new account. I did online but when I want to legitimise that in a Commerzbank branch, to my schock, they said my resident card should be at least six months valid. I said my new one is in process and it takes time to be ready. here you are a proof that I will get it in a month. she said no we need the real resident card with at least 6 months. at that moment I smelt a kind of discrimination. Why other banks don't have this rule if it really exists.???

This bank is incredibly dishonest borderline criminal. No wonder most reviews are negative. It is also one of the worst performing banks in Europe according to Statista.

I was once a client by this bank for years, and suddenly without any clarification, they terminated my active account. If you need a reliable bank account, I won't recommend this one.

Hidden rules, dishonest bank. They will never tell you in advance of any change, or any other stuff!!!! This bank is just full of lies!!!

Worst customer service experience, Highly dishonest and non transparent policies. very poor customer retention policy, I guess they are least bothered for customer retention. Never ever trust Commerz bank if you need loan from them until its deposited in your account.

i opened an account in APRIL. ITS NOW JULY 29. i still have no pin for my card. i asked 9 times plus.
I have not been able to find out how much money is on my account. i think i spent several days in total.
WORST SERVICE WORLDWIDE. STAY AWAY. RUN.
WITHOUT BUYING A NEW PHONE I CAN NEVER SEE MY ACCOUNT OR MAKE A TRANSACTION. THEY LIE ON THE HOTLINE. THEY ARE ONLY GOOD AT FINDING MILLIONS OF EXCUSES WHY THEY CANT EVEN TELL YOU HOW MUCH YOU HAVE IN YOUR ACCOUNT THIS TIME. I HAVE MY PHOTO TAN (...), MY PIN FOR ONLINE BANKING, MY USERNAME AND MY ACCOUNT/CARD/IBAN PLUS COUNTLESS MORE CODES. DOES NOT HELP. ????????????????????????????????
I PLAN TO TAKE OUT ALL MONEY AS SOON AD THEY MAY SEND ME A PIN AND BRING IT ELSEWHERE. BUT I MAY NEVER GET THIS PIN. I THINK ABOUT INFORMING THE POLICE AS I CANT ACCESS MY MONEY SINCE APRIL. THEY SEEM TO THINK ITS THEIR MONEY. its the same as stealing my money for 6 months. they dont send me a pin. called since april. they dont reply here. they stole my money as i cant access it. thinking about involving the police
