Compass Solar Customer Service & Repair warranty issues

Compass Solar advised me that an issue I had with my inverter was covered under the warranty (10 years parts and labor). On the first visit Jan 28 the tech spent several hours working on the system and I was told it was fixed and left me an invoice for $756 plus a travel fee of $100. When I looked at the system it was still not working, I talked to the company and they said they would send him back out. He came back out Feb 2nd and worked on the system for a few hours and told me that he still couldn't get it fixed and it would take an addition person to help him and since he couldn't get it working that there would be no charge for the second visit of $614 plus a travel fee of $100 (he actually wrote" NO CHARGE" on the invoice). I told him there shouldn't be any charges since the system is under warranty, he told me I should talk with the company about that. So I talked with the company about the invoices and the warranty, they said they would check into it and let me know, I also asked them when they would be back out to fix the system. I received an email stating they would not be back out to fix the system until I paid the total of both invoices. I have asked them to please contact me to resolve this issue with the warranty and the charges as I do not believe I should pay for any repairs which I was told was under a warranty. As of today March 13th I have not received any correspondence from Compass Solar except for an PAST DUE-COLLECTIONS Invoice. So as I understand it; they want me to pay the total invoices of over $1000, have two more tech's come out ($100+/hr) and maybe fix the system. Seems a little fishy to me. Based on my experience with this company they seem to lack a clear communication problem with their techs and their customers. The next time I would GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE for my solar needs.
