I have plans with HSBC and it has been a nightmare from trying to save and execute since exiting the firm. I have a formal complaint but dealing with agents who rely on different teams who don’t have access to interfaces and then inability to resolve smoothly .
The GUI interface shows a point in time summary which then suddenly changes after a weekend .. it’s very frustrating and causes alot of anxiety , stress .

It is unsatisfactory in terms of service .

Could be scammers!

Could be scammers: beware! I transferred some shares to Computershare so they could be "direct registered." As soon as I did that, I completely lost control of my shares because they have not let me log into my account for 4+ years, despite multiple attempts and ridiculous phone calls where they would mine all of my personal information, enough to steal my identity, and then deny me access to the account. Even though I provide all my personal info and they confirm they have my shares, they refuse to give me access to the account. Their website doesn't work at all, and as soon as I get my account number (supposedly sent to me in the mail), I will be (hopefully) transferring these shares to another brokerage. Garbage garbage company. Do not EVER move your shares to this company. They also try to sell your shares by claiming they are "abandoned" property, saying, "you haven't logged into your account in a year." How can I log into my account when they won't let me access it? Absolutely DISGUSTED. I will be filing a complaint with FINRA and the SEC.

Slow, paperwork heavy, confusing

Absolutely terrible customer service. Can't get a hold of the chat service because its a dumb computer that can't answer my questions.
I've been trying to sell my shares held with computershare for about 2 months and after sending numerous forms and speaking to them on their call centres, it's just a joke. I get different answers from different people, no one seems to know what's going on.
Never ever buying shares from this company ever again. Absolutely terrible experience.

I had a rather complex issue with…

I had a rather complex issue with deceased joint holders, and half of the shares were lost certificates. Then having to transfer the stocks to the children per the will. Called Computershare and discussed the paperwork work and documentation needed. Carefully filled out the with an agent on the line. Gathered all documents required. Hardest part was a Medallion Signature. Submitted everything and within 2 weeks got lost shares reissued and stocks transferred. I was expecting a lots of issues based on the comments but that was not my experience

There website refused to let me login

Their website refused to acknowledge a prior registered email. They then said they’ve sent something on the email. I eventually got hold of a person who definitely said they’d sent an email and I must be blocking it. (I have no blockers). I eventually got in with another email which worked once. Managed to get documents for prior tax year. Then the following day tried to log in again. Website tells me email account is locked! Does this company have Basil Fawlty in charge?

HORRIBLE COMPANY-THE WORST

I have been trying to get my account fixed since it transferred to Capital One Finance Corp through Computershare. This company is a FARCE. You get transferred multiple times and go through the automated system multiple times, and NO ONE can help you. This is the WORST experience I have had with a company in a very long time. IF there is any way to avoid this company, I would recommend avoiding them at all costs.

Closing Deceased's Account.

Virtually made impossible to close a deceased account as an Executor. The amount of legal documentation you have to provide when shares are transferred to a foreign institution make it a 'minefield' and costly process!! Thankfully my fathers shares only totalled about £100 and gave it the 'ghost'!!

Reanna Nutland, Computershare

Just had a fantastic experience with Computershare team. Im a GSK shareholder who inherited certificates from my parents. I need to sell the shares.
Reanna Nutland was knowledgeable and professional. She explained things to me so I could understand. My case is complicated. She put me on hold and obtained answers. She told me carefully what I needed to do.
After the call She called me to explain a better solution. Brilliant customer service.

This is a super sketchy company

This is a super sketchy company. If a company tries to use them to hold your shares, this is not financial advice, but from my experience you're better of just selling your shares right then and there. I basically lost about $1,000 because they offer no method to sell my Knightscope shares. They also have no customer service line that is monitored by anyone. I was on hold for about 20 minutes, before I gave up.

Horrible experience for shareholders - companies, use others

Horrible, horrible company for shareholders. Companies should know this & think twice about using them - I hope they read these reviews. I’ve been on multiple phone calls with Computershare, they constantly give bad info, say I sent the wrong documents… and I SPENT MY CAREER AS A BANKER

Read the reviews, it stinks

Read the reviews, this company stinks, without a doubt appalling, one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with regarding financial transactions. they will play every stalling action possible to delay your Share sale which in this case is devaluing it every year. According to them I have missed another deadline and will need to resubmit next year. Read the reviews, this company stinks.

Have you ever tried to call customer…

Have you ever tried to call customer service? Don;t bother. No-one ever answers the phone. I have no choice but to deal with this company to manage a family members shares. They are utterly useless. Each year I get a letter about banking details being deleted, when they haven't. It then takes me weeks to speak to anyone to clarify that nothing has changed. Their website is useless too. If I could move these shares away to another provider I would. Just utterly, utterly useless company
