Inflated prices at Concept Design Maidenhead
We had a very unsatisfactory overall experience with Concept Design in Maidenhead. They completed the design outline for our en-suite bathroom efficiently but once we paid, the customer service deteriorated rapidly. We had no site visits pre or during construction as promised, our only visit was at the end under the guise of having to check tiles. It was a visit to take photos of the finished project. The project ran over schedule due to long delays with deliveries and this resulted in huge incremental labour charges as our builders were idle for long periods.
The large discounts that were promised didn't materialise. We were happy to pay full retail on some items despite being told all prices would be trade, however, when we found out we paid 50% mark up on the tiles we were extremely dis-satisfied. The receipt was accidentally included with the tile delivery so we could see the cost was lower than we were told. We had agreed in writing a 10% mark-up, however, Peter refused to issue a refund. We would never therefore recommend nor utilise their services again.
