My friend and I visited Cookes for first time. We entered store and came across Ebenezer who immediately asked us if we would like a coffee. He brought it to us then stood back and asked if needed help. I was looking for sofa and chair.
He was so helpful and courteous . He went out of his way to let me take a sample home. I came back on Sunday and made a purchase. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
My friend and I both have a retail background and it was so nice to have first class service. Thank you Ebenezer.

An enjoyable shopping experience at Cookes.
All the staff are friendly and helpful (especially Anita) and the furniture on show is really comfortable. We must have sat on every sofa during our visit. I should have brought a book!

A lovely store with great staff and fab products

This is a long overdue review for Cooke’s in Christchurch to praise the wonderful service we have had from Anita who has gone above and beyond to assist us with buying various pieces of furniture after our house move.
Anita helped us to select sofas, dining table, side boards, wardrobe, pictures, mirrors and rugs at the best price in sale and clearance.
When you come into the store you are always greeted by one of the friendly staff who do not hard sell to you. Coffee and biscuits are lovely too!!
The delivery men are very professional and take great care not to damage your walls and furniture.
Thank you Anita. I am sure that we will be in the store again soon.

We had a great service from staff around the store as we looked at sofas, we eventually ended upstairs and were welcomed by Ben who asked what we were looking for, he quickly understood our requirements and led us to the Natuzzi range, where we settled on The Houston range, we look forward to our sofa arriving 😀

Good service from Andy in the bed department. He spent a long time explaining the different mattresses and encouraging testing them out.
Height was important to me and Andy went round measuring bed heights for me to try out a combination that was a best fit for me.

From start to finish as we shopped at your store, we had great advice, very helpful suggestions and all in a great environment.

We are very pleased with the rug we got from Cookes Furniture, the colours are just right they go with the rest of the furniture.

5-star experience from the moment we walked through their door. Wide range of good quality competitive products with sales staff polite and attentive when required, but never overbearing. Cooke's order delivery time was as projected and problem free. Finally, a Gold Star to the two delivery guys whose persistence and ingenuity in manoeuvring 3-seater sofas, ensured my wife and I had somewhere to sit this evening.
