The new changes are not good and they don't listen.
We've been using Coquitlam Animal Hospital for just over a year now and the first year was okay. Dr. Maggie was nice to deal with and the front desk staff they had were really nice. Everything seemed to change recently. I went to refill my pets prescription and for some reason they decide to change it without consulting me. When we first met Dr. Maggie, we made sure we set up to receive the same exact strength and dosage that we knew worked. I wasn't happy about the change or not being consulted before making the change but when I expressed my concern the newer front desk gal wasn't very nice and didn't seem to care. I asked for a call from the Dr who owns or manages the place to go over why the change happened. When I expressed my concern over changing the routine on my pet he just kept saying that "if it was a matter of convenience for me" we could go back. How the heck is it a matter of convenience for me? I corrected him several times saying it was a matter of keeping my pet on the same routine, but he just didn't get it. He finally told me the change was because it was easier for the clinic. Isn't it supposed to be about the pet and the owner? He finally agreed to arrange for the original prescription but they never followed through. The only notices I received after that call were for an incorrect reminder for another one of my pets annual wellness exam. That pet had just had his done but when I replied to them saying they needed to update their records, they never responded and kept sending me the notices. I DO NOT recommend this clinic because they don't listen, don't follow through on what they say they'll do, and the new staff aren't great.
