I was told by a Coral employee that a bad review won’t appear on Coral’s website.
More expensive frame than required presented by sales.
The price for the windows was agreed, contracts signed, showing scaffolding not needed, other window suppliers told I’d be using Coral, surveyor visits and now scaffolding needed. The cost to me £470 and I couldn’t have my preferred choice of glass in the bathroom. This has really annoyed me and I don’t think it’s fair.
Roofing tiles needed replacing.
Incorrect render colour used for repair.
Render repairs needed replacing, second team much better finish.
Sealant needed to be redone on front windows.
36 phone calls, 17 with sales, 19 instillation with then replace and repair.
9 follow up visits.
Instillation begun 5th May, last repair or replace visit 18th June.
Sales readily available, surveyor seemed knowledgeable, installation manager responded quickly and efficiently. He came himself to help to finally get the job completed to a satisfactory standard.
Wonder if the payment for a recommendation I used will appear?
My response to the Coral reply.
When talking to the sales team scaffolding was discussed and it was the experienced Coral manager who decided it wasn’t needed, a price was agreed and contract signed. Following the surveyor’s recommendation scaffolding was needed but the extra £470 cost was passed to me. I don’t think it’s fair that this extra cost was passed to me after price agreed and contract signed. The Coral manager should have factored it in before negotiating the price, they will have considered such decisions for every job. The surveyor did say this problem with scaffolding has happened quite regularly.
Yes I do know any monies for recommendations goes to the person who has made the recommendation, it was explained by the Coral manager every time I have asked.
Further info - a week has passed and no one has contacted me.
Finally senior management did contact me and my daughter received the recommendation money very quickly.
Coral have accepted they have made mistakes so I hope things improve and I have been given a small payment.

We are sorry you were not happy overall with the service you received from Coral. It's great you were happy with the surveyors knowledge, and if they called for scaffold on the work, there is no way the work could be done safely without scaffolds, this is exactly why we send these knowledgeable people otherwise this would be spotted at install, which I am sure you will agree is much worse. Our installation managers are second to none and we always make sure all snags are complete and our customers can be be comfortable throughout that process because we don't take any money up front, unlike all our competitors. Render is almost impossible to match perfectly and we warn all customers with render of that at survey.
We are genuinely sorry though that you had a negative experience and a member of our senior management team will be in touch to discuss this with you. With regard to recommendation, we only give this when the person who was recommended has bought and it goes to the person doing the recommending as long as it is done through the correct process otherwise we cannot track it. If you believe you are eligible though please mention this to the senior manager who calls you and they can sort that out for you.
Edit - A director was in touch and we have resolved as best as can be done.

I'm very happy to recommend Coral windows for your house renovations. Everyone I dealt with from Charles who came to my house for the initial appointment and he was the only representative who made smart choices in advising me for a much better result from what I was expecting. And the people who kept me informed over the phone of every stage in the process. Great experience brilliant job done very happy :)
Great service from David who came to see me regarding the job of replacing my guttering, facia and soffit ..he explained everything I needed to know..to Andy and Tyler the fitters who were very friendly and accommodating as asbestos was found on the initial setting up for the job and needed to be removed ...this was done the following day, was very professional, carried it out on time, had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Rather Disappointed
Unfortunately I did not check the work before I paid. There were a couple of cracks/scratches on both sills that were installed and I did not realise/was not informed that you had to press something in the top and bottom of the window fittings to slide the windows across to clean. I feel the sealant could have looked tidier as well, both inside and out. Did not want to suffer more disruption so did not complain.

Good Morning, Unfortunately plastic can mark often these marks can be buffed out quite quickly and easily. We are sorry you didn't get the full functionality of the easy clean function of your windows explained, this requiring a second action to perform a security function and would normally be demonstrated to you by the fitters, it is enforced by regulation though not by coral. I would always encourage all customers to engage with us, as we can sort all these sorts of minor issues very quicky and easily and it also allows us to improve our service moving forward by understanding how things like this occur. Really professional outfit
Really professional outfit from sales survey, fitting survey and then fitting. I chose them from a Which recommendation based on quality of the windows. They were very quick and efficient taking four weeks from initial survey to fitting. The price was good and quality of the windows seem very good. The fitting took 3 days for 18.windows and a sliding patio door. The two fitters were excellent, hard workers that kept the disruption to my family to a minimum.
All round I am reall glad that I chose them from the quotes that I had.

Amazing installation
The installation went exactly as planned, arrived on time, had the correct product and tools to do his task. Installation was much quicker than I expected, not as noisy as expected and he cleaned up beautifully. Very professional service Highly recommend 5 *****

Very quick from start to finish.
Excellent quality windows and door, the whole process took just over two weeks from order to fitting.
The two man team who came to fit three windows and a door where polite and professional and had all work completed in under three hours.
The only negative I can think of is the design consultant promised a discount for the inconvenience of the technical issues she had on the day she visited, but unfortunately this discount wasn’t shown on the final bill.

Outstanding solution, exemplary service at a very fair price.
In the last few years we have had several double glazed windows replaced by three different suppliers.
None were bad, of course, but comfortably the best has been Coral.
We challenged Coral to find a solution to replace existing patio doors with a window with a new wall built below, but because we have unusual bricks which are no longer available in the size we required, Coral worked with us to find an acceptable solution. In the end, we chose triple glazed French doors. They look beautiful, appear to reduce ambient noise levels, and not only that but they came in at a price advantage against the originally planned build.
Ultimately, we are thrilled with the outcome, and I especially wish to note our delight at the way Coral’s sales manager Dave worked tirelessly with us to produce an outcome we would be completely happy with. If only every supplier were this professional.
