I want to register a domain. When paying by credit card, a copy of my ID and a copy of my credit card are required so that I can be authorized to pay by credit card. PayPal, that is. I pay with PayPal... See more

Been using Cosmotown for years. Easy to use. Reliable. Never a problem. Lowest prices I could find.
I see lots of 1 star review which really makes me nervous but I've been with Cosmotown for a couple years now and haven't really had issues and pray that I never do. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I cannot pay by credit card - I click the button and nothing happens - just a blank screen. I have to always pay by Paypal which isn't ideal. Also, I have several NOM domains in the UK that I would have liked to transfer over, I raised a ticket about this a year or two ago but never heard back.
Still waiting on an initial response for over 2 weeks for support to reply regarding my enquiry
Excellent Service, Fast and Easy to use. Good prices compared to others selling domains. I've been a happy customer for many many years
If you would like better reviews, you should have someone test your interface... someone that is NOT familiar with the programming.
You do NOT make it logically clear where to click to renew a domain... it is a guessing game.
USER INTERFACE FAIL
Great prices but the whole platform is so buggy, it's like living in 1990, especially when it comes to DNS records set-up.
Been using Cosmotown for years. Bought hundreds of domains with them. Once your account is set up it is a smooth process. They have most but not all Domain extensions. Could not buy .app from them recently which was a bummer. Can't beat the prices.
Really Bad System
Can't renew or buy a new domain, every time catch fails, 100 of the time the same error.. dont used
This is until date the most satisfying domain registrar I've used.
The guys at Cosmotown are just so amazing!
Please keep up the good work.

I want to rate Cosmotown from my point of view. They're not just a cheap domain registrar, they're also a responsible ICANN-accredited registrar that is genuinely efficient when it comes to fighting abuse.
Recently, I reported two phishing domains to them. From the moment I submitted the compliant to the moment the domain was suspended, it took just a few hours. That's impressive by any standard.
As one previous reviewer mentioned, it's true that Cosmotown has been used by some illegal websites, because criminals choose them to keep their operating costs low. But my personal experience with them tells a completely different story. They acted fast and fulfilled their obligations responsibly.
I see a lot of negative reviews here about domain management and customer support. I'm not here to dismiss what others have gone through. But their abuse team? Definitely the opposite of cheap!

Soooo complex!!! Just a nightmare to renew a domain. Catcha everywhere which do not work so you have to solve them 1000 times then it forgets you are logged in and must do everything other 20 times

Pricing is good. but UI / dashboard not modern. they should modernize their dashboard.

The customer support is practically nonexistent, and the service is poor. There's no one to resolve your issues. You'll have to wait days for a response from support. I don't recommend this service.

Yes they are cheap - but their automation sucks. And getting a response from Support takes for ever - if you ever get a response.
They respond to reviews but support has still not picked up the case. Great prioritization...

Reliable and excellent service for their customers. They are always willing to help and assist with any questions or concerns

Seems like a front for illegal websites to be registered in. All the YouTube porn bots are cosmotown domains. Their abuse contact throws an error and once you find a way to send one, you get no reply

Cosmotown has been one of the most frustrating hosting/domain experiences I’ve ever had. Something as basic as domain registration is still being done manually — yes, manually — and support openly admits this while doing absolutely nothing to resolve it in a reasonable timeframe(We paid for the comsotown whmcs module).
I currently have multiple open tickets, some going back days and even weeks, all for the same simple issue. Each ticket gets either no response or a recycled reply with zero progress. No updates, no timelines, no accountability.
Purchases are taken instantly, but once they have your money, you’re left chasing support that doesn’t seem equipped or motivated to help. This isn’t a complex technical edge case — it’s core functionality that any serious provider should handle automatically.
The lack of communication, the delays, and the overall unprofessional handling make Cosmotown feel unreliable and outdated. If you’re looking for a provider that respects your time and operates like a modern service, look elsewhere. I genuinely regret choosing Cosmotown.
⭐ 1/5 – Weeks without support for a simple task. Completely unacceptable.
