ECO measures - poor company

ECO measures. Consistent findings in Cornwall installations.

If you do not have any paperwork for the works carried out in your home something is wrong.
You should have completed a Declaration of Conformity and Completed Installation (DOCC).
If you have not signed this, it is likely that a FRAUD has been committed in your name.

Contact OFGEM eco.sar @ ofgem.gov.uk. They will inform you of the works claimed for being carried out at your home. You may be surprised.

This will advise you of the funder. Usually one of the Big 6 e.g. E-ON, EDF

If you suspect fraud advise OFGEM of this. Failure to do so may exclude you from future measures being installed in your home.

If all else fails contact Andrej Miller, Head of ECO & Warm Home Discount. andrej.miller @ beis.gov.uk

This is going to be the biggest scam ever.
Make sure you have all of your paperwork as a mass claim is sure to come.

Great boiler installation service

Hi, I am very satisfied with the boiler installation service by Simon. He was very helpful and friendly, taking extra care to ensure we got the best possible setup for our house, e.g. making our previous setup much more neat and clean without any hesitation. A++ service! Thanks!

New Boiler instalation

We have had a new boiler through the government Green scheme and Simon & Ethan fitted it for us on July 9th. They were both brilliant, would hardly have known they were there except for the occasional drilling(!!). They were really helpful and did a great job, clearing up thoroughly at the end of the day. Thanks Guys!!

I had wall insulation 3 weeks ago Good clean professional job done in a few hours. They then sent Simon round to fix a new boiler again very professional job not only cleaned up behind himself help me put up a cupboard that came loose and next day van came and cleared all the rubbish would highly recommend this company many thanks

Without a doubt the worst company I…

Without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. They left my house in a shocking state and the company (when they responded after a week of trying to get hold of them) were contemptuous. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are cowboys.

Don't use this company!!!

Unfortunately my eldrrly mum received the same poor workmanship as some of the other reviewers have posted on here.

When you try to complain to their office their customer service is absolutely shocking. They just don't seem to care. We just got lied to constantly by their office.

All I can advise is to find another company to do the work for you. Any company but this one!

Great Service and respectful

Had boiler conversion put in have to say Paul who came and changed the boiler very respectful, hard working didn't stop for two days and cleaned up after himself like it was his own house. Would use them again. Thanks Paul and Thanks Cosy Homes

BEWARE

BEWARE
Insulation work completed 4 weeks ago, and to a reasonably good standard. It has been badly let down by being told the piles of rubble sacks and old plasterboard would have been removed in the week following completion. 4 weeks have passed and it still remains, it will require a small skip or a van to dispose of, why should I have to cover the costs of clearing away their rubbish, any company who has professional standards would insure the job is completed to the clients satisfaction, they have failed miserably! And now no one answers the office phone.

I have start all the roof isolation and…

I have start all the roof isolation and wall isolation with cosy home , everything was spotless when they start , one week the first part was done .
Since that still waiting for the joiner to came and finish the job .
So no curtain , carpet up , a broken wall as mistake no fixed and one windows already with water.
They suppose to came this Friday but they didn’t show up .
I try to reach the customer service but there’s always the same answer they will contact you .
This is not how suppose to be a good finish job .

I don't usually write reviews

I don't usually write reviews, but I thought I ought to share the experience I had with Cosy Home Solutions. They insulated some walls at my home in January, the work was very amateurish and the finish results were awful, the plastering is terrible and the person who put back coving and skirting I think he needs to have his eyesight checked! I am still waiting for storage heaters, which was the reason for me having the work done in the first place! Apparently I had to have the walls insulated in order to be able to get the storage heaters with the eco grant.

Shocking customer service

Worst customer service I have ever received. Totally unprofessional!

I asked for the complaints procedure after having enough of the attitude and cockiness of the agent, dismissing my queries... the agent blocked me!

At no point was our agent rude or cocky, all that was discussed is that you were ineligible for a boiler upgrade due to it not being the correct age. No work has been done at your property and no survey has been carried out so we believe a 1 star review is unjust as this effects our business & puts other potential customers off - all based off a conversation that briefly took place on Facebook messenger. I can only apologise for the miscommunication as clearly it offended you and this wasn't our intention. However, we ask you if you can remove your review due to the previously stated point of this having an impact on our business.

From initial referral to survey to…

From initial referral to survey to installation we have been completely impressed and amazed by how efficient, knowledgeable and through the team have been getting us our room in roof insulation. The job has been done to a fantastic standard and they have been so helpful and worked long hours to complete it as quickly as possible and reduce the disruption. Can’t thank the whole team enough and would 100% recommend them to anyone else!

Two times they never turned up to fit…

Two times they never turned up to fit my new boiler before lock down. Each time promised it was set up for a certain day so I took time off work. No apology or explanation. Didn’t even notify me. I had to contact them. Then they promised again to come back yesterday and they didn’t turn up again. I’ve tried ringing them and no one there and no one responded to my message I left on their voicemail. Shame they treat their customers like this.

They were initially very active having schedule the work(broken promises)

They were initially very active having booked in underfloor insulation and a new boiler due to the old one being over 7yrs old. There were no documentation provided to outline the work they were carrying out or details of the grant. However they requested cash only sum of £300 upon the completion of the boiler installation.

The boiler was schedule to be completed installation on the 29th November 2019 however we are without heating as pensioners and are awaiting there broken promises to come to fruition implying a plumber will be coming each week. its been over a month now and its certainly is concerning.

We both(Mr & Mrs Kaur) do not wish this situation to be repeated for anyone else. there google reviews (based in sunderland) are there to back this up to.
