Refusing to refund a returned and faulty item - likely a scam website

They sent me a faulty Barbour jacket, and when I contacted them to arrange a return they refused to reply to any of my emails - even though an employee had already emailed me off that email address to authenticate my card details so the email address was actively used.

They replied once after numerous emails to say I had to send photos to prove that the jacket was faulty, which was infuriating as I’d emailed numerous times over weeks. I had already paid to return the jacket at my own expense. When I replied to express my frustration and demand a refund once the jacket arrived they once again refused to respond.

I still have heard nothing about a refund even though I returned the jacket 2 weeks ago. I’ll have to email again to demand my refund, but I doubt I’ll get a response.

It’s disgraceful service that they refuse to reply to customers and clearly a scam that they are withholding people’s money when items have been returned.

At this point I am requesting a full refund immediately, I require the money to buy boots to wear this Winter.
Please do not send me any further instructions for returning the item without at least testing if it is available to me in the Republic of Ireland and without errors. (order no. 8227999)

Easy to deal with, reliable and quick delivery

Last Friday I contacted their support via chat and very kindly provided all the information needed. I processed the purchase on Friday and received it on Wednesday no problem whatsoever. Item as described. Couldn't be happier with my experience.

Received pair of women's arctic muck…

Received pair of women's arctic muck boots at Christmas time. Loved them so much loved the look of them and the feel of them. However, after wearing them a few times they started to rub my heels and I eventually got two blisters. I put this down to the fact they were new and it was probably my soft heels. so I got gel things to put on the back of my heels, which really helped. After about two months, in which time I wore them nearly every day for between half-hour to an hour each day, the actual outside heel on both boots had come apart and they started leaking water. I was so disappointed they were only two months old! Contacted country attire where they were purchased and sent them pictures, had to pay 10 euro to send them back (which in my opinion wasn't really fair!) and couldn't get an exchange because they had no more in stock. So got a refund which was greatly received the other day. After about three weeks sourced a similar pair of Muck boots from country attire which has just arrived today! I really can't wait to try them and I am hoping I was just extremely unlucky with the previous pair. I will be sure to write another review on the new boots soon :)
