Our store has been in the same location on Stevenage Old Town High Street for nearly 50 years. There is free parking for up to 3 hours right outside the store, giving you plenty of time to browse the latest and greatest outdoor gear.
In our store, we match the prices shown on our website and can offer you extensive advice on the best kit for your needs.
We also specialise in offering fitting services for walking boots, rucksacks, ski boots and skis (please note ski boot and ski fitting requires an appointment). Our fantastic team want to help you get the best possible kit for your next adventure.
We now offer appointments for specialist fitting services and advice, but do not worry, you are not required to have a pre-booked appointment to come in store!

Brilliant service.
Easy to order on line and my Scarpa Ranger GTX boots were at the best price I could find. Order was delivered quickly and exactly as I ordered. Scarpa boots are always comfortable straight out of the box and these are no different. I highly recommend Countyside Ski & Climb and would have no worries about using them again.

Quickly posted and great quality item!
I was looking to replace a Patagonia backpack and had read some reviews of their latest Black Hole backpacks as being poor quality and not like the backpacks of old. Did a google search and found Countryside Ski & Climb were selling Patagonia backpacks and had the Refugio 30l for less than £90 and more importantly appeared to be the better quality more durable backpack than the current offering direct from Patagonia. I placed my order in the mid morning and it was delivered the next day by Royal Mail. I’m really happy with the quality of this backpack and the price and service by Countryside Ski & Climb. Definitely recommend this retailer.
