Excellent price and customer service

I recently purchased a SportDog collar from this online shop. The service I received from their Meriel was absolutely excellent. Replied promptly during the evening to my initial inquiry. Kept me fully informed on the stock availability situation with the item I ordered. And, when their stock delivery failed sent me a more expensive version for no extra cost. As the original was already being offered at a very competitive price this represented 10/10 service.

Countrystore Direct - Shocking customer service !!

I recently purchased online a Sport Dog collar from Countrystore Direct at a cost of £210.00.

The product arrived on time and well packaged, however when commissioning the collar it was found to be inoperative.I emailed Countrystore and they replied promptly, confirming that they have no liability for the product and gave the telephone number for the manufacturer, suggesting that I get in touch with them.

I questioned this response but was told categorically that it was not their issue and my only recourse was to contact the manufacturer (Pet Safe).

Not best pleased , I contacted Pet Safe and they recommended changing the internal battery and sent me a replacement which took a further 2 weeks to arrive with instructions on how to fit.Following the instructions I managed to rectify the issue.

However, I'm very disappointed with the shocking customer service from Countrystore Direct who simply take the profit and are not remotely interested in assisting their customers resolve any issues with the products they sell.

I expected an immediate product replacement from Countrystore Direct or a refund in full, not palmed off to a third party.

My advice would be to stay clear of buying any goods online from this company.

Thank you for your review... albeit disappointing that we didn’t satisfy your requirements. Since your review we have chatted on the phone and I have explained our policy with regard to Petsafe/Sport Dog Products.

As promised I have confirmed the situation with our supplier with regard to trouble shooting and the replacement of faulty products. Petsafe - the manufacturer/supplier of the Sport Dog collar you purchased assured me that it was their desire and responsibility to sort out any faulty products under warranty. They specifically request we do this so that they can keep tabs on faulty products and any other issues.

We have looked at our procedure and processes and in future we will keep closer tabs on any product faults that are reported to Petsafe to ensure there are no delays in replacement of products or product parts.

All the best to you and we hope that your Sport Dog collar is now working as expected.

Great company to buy from if you like SPAM

This seems to be one of those annoying companies where, having ticked or unticked the spam box, as appropriate, they just send you spam anyway - and don't provide an unsubscribe link.
