Following days of failed delivery,
I ordered some boots from this site I ordered at 3pm on the Monday and received them the next day. Communication was excellent delivery was schuled for a certain time. The quality of my boots were fabulous, highly recommended!
I ordered two expensive coats and a poncho from CountrySupplies.com in 2008. Although it took a very long time for the items to be delievered I was happy with their service. That is until I attempted to claim a VAT refund as VAT should not be charged on orders shipping to the United States. My request was sent at the same time that I returned one of the coats for a refund. Suddenly e-mails that had customarily been responded to within 24-48 hours were never responded to. It was as if the company dropped off the face of the earth. I sent a number of e-mails over the course of 45 days requesting information on the status of the return and my VAT refund request. All were totally ignored. Finally I contacted my credit card company to restrict/cancel payment. The next day I got an e-mail from them (Countrysupplies) saying that they knew I was "chasing the matter up" and they would respond to my request shortly. A few days later they refunded payment for the coat but never for the VAT charged on all of the items. Although originally pleased with their service, I will never order anything from them again. Once they have your money they could not care less. They never did have the courtesy to respond to my professionally worded request for the VAT refund. They also ended up charging me shipping on two of the items despite the fact that all three arrived in the same package. Avoid doing business with this company. There are plenty of other "country" "English" hunting clothing suppliers out there. Finally it is illegal for a Bristish or EU based company to charge VAT on items shipped to the United States. Make sure you have the company deduct the refund up front.
