SCAM... Don't apply ... I signed up because their policy…

I signed up because their policy clearly states that 100% of customer tips go directly to the drivers. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Over multiple pay periods, I noticed that my tip amounts didn’t match what customers told me they left in the app. When I brought this up, I was told the company partners with another service for payment processing, and that there were “technical issues.”

What’s frustrating is that these “technical issues” seem to happen randomly — payments just stop without warning. When drivers reach out for clarification, we’re told the missing tips will be paid the following month. In my case, that hasn’t consistently happened, and there’s little transparency or clear communication about what’s going on.

This company is a complete SCAM. After deciding to stop working with them, I specifically requested that my driver profile be permanently deleted. I was clearly told that my account had been removed from their system. However, even after receiving that confirmation, I continued to get emails, notifications, and other communications from them.

This company has no regard for its…

This company has no regard for its employees, will offer one thing and then bait and switch last minute so that they don’t have to pay properly. If you tell them you won’t do the order they will say they will add extra pay but never do it.

Courial is basically trash doordash…

Courial is basically trash doordash orders and the pay is peanuts . You can’t communicate with them via phone. It’s just via AI and they can’t answer a question honestly, they ignore it. They’ll harp at you about where you’re at. I’m a professional hater who does delivery for a living. I’m not a pizza delivery person.

Horrible business model how do you…

Horrible business model how do you expect a driver to work for crumbs when the cost of living is increasing the offers are trash on top of that they take 30% of your earnings if you don’t have a EV and if you do 20% grow some balls and charge the companies you do business with instead of taking 30% of what drivers make these idiots think people are stupid we as drivers have overhead too just like any other business complete waste of time…

If you want to be a new catering driver…Courial is a waste of time.

If you want to be a new catering driver for them don’t bother. I’m in Las Vegas signed up with them two weeks ago and every time they give you an order, I got a response back saying sorry someone else got it. This app is a waste of time. They don’t seem to care either because I have reached out to them over and over and over again and nothing has changed. I have driven for DoorDash, Uber eats, GrubHub, and currently do catering orders for Zifty through Ez Cater and I have never experienced not getting one order accepted after two weeks of being on the app.

Courial does not care about its drivers' safety

WARNING!
Courial does not care about driver safety, and I know, because I have experienced it firsthand.

They have the audacity to call their independent contractor drivers "Partners", when nothing could be further from the truth. A Partner is someone you trust to do the job you assigned to them. A Partner is NOT someone whom you need to micromanage by asking them to confirm and re-confirm the same job 4 to 5 times in a 24-hour period, and if you don't respond immediately, they yank the job from you.

That's what happened to me. I was driving and didn't want to hassle with my phone while driving and risk causing an accident, so Courial rescinded the job I had already confirmed TWICE! When I stopped driving, I reconfirmed the job for a third time, but by that time, they had already yanked the job. They then messaged me to tell me I had not confirmed in the correct manner (which never seemed to matter to them before).

When I complained and wrote a bad review on Google Play, they deactivated my account.

I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, where Courial already has an F rating and (as of 12/18/24) three unanswered complaints.

WORK WITH COURIAL AT YOUR OWN RISK! You've been warned.

DO NOT WORK FOR COURIAL

DO NOT WORK FOR COURIAL. They baited drivers in with promises of keeping 80% of the fees, 100% of the tips and being "delivery by the people for the people". Then they recently dropped a huge unannounced pay cut - around 40%. Ironically, the standard tip that had been on every order suddenly shrunk the same day too, what a coincidence. They also misrepresent the mileage - often listing it as much as 50% less than the real standard earth mile. Then they have the audacity to flat out lie about it like we don't have the screenshots and can't do math. Outside of California calculators work on a standard base 10 system, in California those buggers violate the laws and math and always favor the house. The least they could do is have the integrity to be honest about what they pulled. But they can't even muster that. Of course, when you complain and tell people the garbage they pull, they yank your account. JUST AS DISHONEST, EVIL, and CROOKED AS EVERY OTHER sleezy gig app in the game.
