My experience with Couriers & Freight…

My experience with Couriers & Freight Australia has been exceptional throughout the entire shipment process. Their team has continuously provided updates and information throughout the process, which helped eliminate much of the stress associated with shipping my cargo. Once my shipment was delivered it arrived on time and in excellent condition making me confident in using them to ship my goods again in the future. I was also impressed by how fast and helpful their customer service responded whenever I had inquiries, it truly gave me confidence in their reliability and professionalism. I will be using their services again!

I sent 4 fragile packages from NWS to Adelaide. They delivered it the next day in good conditions. The whole process was Easy and straightforward process. I will definitely use this for my future deliveries. Very Satisfied customer here...

Dishonest, stressful, and time-wasting.

Dishonest, stressful, and time-wasting experience.

I booked a shipment with Couriers and Freight on 27/12/2023, paying $307.17 (Connote: SHB00002XXXX). Weeks later, on 11/01/2024, they withdrew an extra $205.81 from my account without any notice, consent, or proof.

When I contacted them, they claimed the measurements were “incorrect” and used their terms and conditions to justify charging my card directly. I still had the item and provided photo evidence of the correct dimensions, but it took weeks of back-and-forth emails before they finally refunded me.

Even then, they refused to return the credit card fees, hiding behind their policy — despite the fact the error was entirely theirs.

The whole ordeal was time-consuming, stressful, and unnecessary. Any company that can dip into your account without warning and then refuse to make you whole when they are proven wrong is not trustworthy.

⚠️ I would strongly advise avoiding Couriers and Freight.

Stole money out of my account after delivering my oven. This company cannot be trusted. Thieves.…

Reply: Google search the box dimensions for EFS54FC-SEB. Don't worry about sending me a copy of the call recording as I'll be providing my copies of the recordings to the police, ACCC and bank for the three cases I've opened with them.

Reply2: This company lied through their teeth until they realised I had call recordings and official box dimensions, then he backed tracked so fast my head was spinning. He was borderline verbally abusive until then and after he was almost grovelling. This company is run by snake thieves that steal out of your account after the fact without asking you!!!

Reply3: Just look at them making up garbage to defend themselves in their reply comments. That's all you need to see they're dishonest liars.

If you have to use them, do it with a 24hr digital debit card with only the exact amount on it. They're THIEVES!

This version is stronger and explains the pallet/skid issue more clearly without sounding aggressive:

Hi Alex,

We completely reject the allegations that any money was “stolen” from your account.

The issue relates to the shipment dimensions and transport method provided at the time of booking versus the actual dimensions assessed by the carrier at depot.

The original booking declared the oven as:

* 59cm × 96cm × 72cm
* 48kg
* 0.408 CBM

However, TNT’s depot assessment for consignment SHB000029265 recorded the freight as:

* 157kg
* 0.6272 CBM
* Manifested 30/04/25

Importantly, TNT would not collect or transport a 43kg+ oven as a loose item. The shipment was required to be placed on a pallet/skid for safe transport, and once palletised the actual transport dimensions and cubic weight increased significantly beyond what was originally declared.

While the manufacturer’s box dimensions may match the oven itself, freight charges are calculated on the actual transported dimensions, including any pallet/skid used during transit. Those additional transport dimensions were not included in the original booking calculation.

You are entitled to dispute the carrier’s remeasurement process, however claims of theft, fraud or dishonesty are false and defamatory. We have supporting carrier records and documentation confirming the reweigh and remeasure conducted by the carrier.

2 jobs lost during their transit. They know nothing about the tracking.

They got driver came to pick up the 2 jobs from us on 24/9/2024 and 26/9/2024. The both jobs are booked with DDS in their system. However both jobs are lost. Customer didn't receive them till today(22/10/2024). We sent enquiry form to them. They don't know when the parcels have been picked up. They even don't know where the parcels are located. They don't know when the parcels can be delivered or the parcels have been lost permanently by their carrier. They know nothing with their job.

Very disappointed with their unreliable service with the name of DDS. This carrier should not be allowed to run in the industry.

If their can find the parcels and return back to us. And refund the freight we've paid to them, we are happy to go back and change the review.

Freight charges and lack of transparencyFreight collected Thailand to Melbourne, at a cost of $1260 collected then returned 20 minutes later, despite being in the Quote the size,weight ,dimension and contents returned second day to collect, few weeks later after recieved package ,damage to box ,witnessed by driver , further to this email stating I owed them a further$648:20 which despite emails back n fourth ,charged my credit card without permission, lack of transparency, excuses ,condescending patronising on phone DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Matt,

The reason you were charged an extra amount was due the fact the carrier applied a non stackable surcharge to your item. Then due to this surcharge the carrier had to ship the item under a different service.

CS team provided you evidence of this charge FedEx applied via way of our invoice from the carrier.

At the time of booking we try to be as accurate as we can to reduce this from occurring but in this instance the the surcharge as applied by the carrier and we passed it on to yourself.

As the shipper you are responsible for all charges associated with the shipment.

Delays, delays, delays

Booked a shipment on Tuesday, it's now Thursday & even after sending 3 emails we still don't have the labels. We booked pickup for today which is now going to mess our entire delivery up & cause issues with clients.

Hi Cal, Sorry for the issue. Couple of things here;
I am not sure which email you are using as the only contact we have was 4 hours ago via online chat. On that that the CS team resolved your issue and re booked the collection in for you on Monday. Correct?

Secondly the original booking as a pick up date of the 11/7 which is today with the booking be made on the 9th. How can the carrier miss the pick up?

Terrible and expensive experience

Terrible and expensive experience! Their customer service were not apologetic about the failure to deliver my item and still had the audacity to charge my credit extra for an error in sizing!

I found C&F via google and it looked like a good easy service to return an online package. It was not!!

A month later, the box appeared back on my doorstep! It looked like it had gone through a battlefield, they told me the addressee didn’t accept the delivery!?! Strange considering this was an online shopping clothing return.

C&F also then charged my credit card with an extra payment because the measurements were incorrect, the measurements on the connote were not the ones I entered on their webpage, I still have no idea why they would say the 500g weight was 2kg and the box was 2cm high??? When The box is big enough to hold a pair of padded ski pants and clearly not these measurements!

I now have to pay more to have it re-sent, Australia Post would have been 100% better and using them from now on
