No printed receipt and transportation is chargeable

I would like to highlight that the salesgirl was very polite and helpful.

However, I am very disappointed with the overall service. After purchasing a refrigerator, I was not given a printed receipt. I was told that the receipt would be sent via SMS and could be viewed online. But what about elderly customers who are not familiar with mobile phones or do not have access to the internet? How are they supposed to view or keep their receipt?

Being an elderly person, I requested a printed receipt, the staff refused to provide one. This is unacceptable, as a receipt is a basic proof of purchase that every customer should receive, regardless of their ability to access digital platforms.

Additionally, I was informed that transportation fees would be charged even for purchases above 30,000, which is quite unreasonable and not customer-friendly.

Also, customers are given birthday vouchers without clearly informing them that these must be used within two weeks, after which they expire. This important condition is not communicated properly, which is misleading and unfair to customers.

Thr service experience were disappointing and need serious improvement.

The service is extremely poor

The service is extremely poor. I bought a television in cash and was told to wait one week for delivery. After waiting the entire week, I received a message at the scheduled delivery time saying that they could not make the delivery.

When I tried to call for assistance, I was placed on a hotline with no proper help from any staff member. To make matters worse, the people on the phone were laughing, which felt very unprofessional and disrespectful.

This kind of customer service is unacceptable. If Mammouth cannot provide proper customer care and reliable delivery service, they should seriously reconsider how they run their business.

Even 1 star is too much.Courts mammouth is a liar

Even 1 star is too much.
I bought a lot of stuff from Bel Air Riviere Seche Courts Mammouth on Monday and was expecting delivery today from 11 am to 2pm.
Around 12 I received a call from them that now they will deliver tomorrow.
I hate liars. Why when you said today, you changed your mind and you say tomorrow.
This kind of behaviour must not be tolerated as customers won't trust you anymore and will be discouraged to buy from you.
I have a text message as a proof that you are delivering today. I can even sue this business.
If I don't get my stuff by 2pm today then I will cancel all the purchases for a full refund. I will buy it elsewhere. Mammouth courts isn't to be trusted. They are liars

Very bad experience.. No customer care very poor service... No welcoming no greeting and not attend to client especially at quatre bornes.. As if we are disturbing the staff when we enter the shop 🙄🙄

Hello,

Please see my invoice below. I have been contacted by one of your contractor for ac installation and an appointment was set. He never showed up and stopped replying to phone calls and messages.

The number is 58397660, its either busy or switched off.

This is ridiculous, I am having to chase for a service i already paid in pull.

Please get this sorte before the 21st of Jan 2026 or you give me a full refund.

In the meantime, im going to leave some very satisfying reviews for courts.

In the last 12 months i spent more than Rs100,000.00 at courts for several appliances. All paid in cash. Yet this is the service you are providing.

Takes weeks to deliver anything and only if you constantly follow up. Extremely high delivery fees. Grossly unprofessional. AVOID!

The salespersons are very helpful but…

The salespersons are very helpful but the delivery service counter was pathetic. Had to wait half an hour just to sign the delivery paper. There is no first come first serve service. They just run about, as if they are busy, have a chat and come back to the counter. Pathetic!! Two stars for the salesperson..negative star for the delivery counter at phoenix

Don’t bother buying from them

Don’t bother buying from them — you’ll only end up frustrated.

I bought a humidifier online with the store pick-up option, paid in full, and even received an email confirming acceptance of the order along with the invoice. When I went to pick it up the next day, I was told they had not received my order.

The helpline was completely useless. They kept giving me the same response: “Call the online call centre.” I tried calling at least ten times — none of my outgoing calls ever went through. The mobile number provided was no help either: always busy, disconnected, or simply not answering.

I’m still waiting for a call back.

POOR SERVICE

I have placed an order at Courts Mammouth Flacq since 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting for delivery.. The product is finally OOS and no one care about it!!!! I keep chasing them but no revert back yet!!!!

The after service facilities of Courts…

The after service facilities of Courts are horrid! The delivery is extremely poor with confusing dates and no respect of time and of customers. I bought cash some furniture for a room in an apartment and specified date and time of delivery clearly because of issues in the past. I do not live in the apartment yet and am not free during the first half of the day during week days, so I specified that delivery be done on a Saturday afternoon from 12.00 to around 6,00 pm max and yet I have been tossed around as a yoyo. They phoned me at least 5 times to deliver at odd times and days. Despite reminders I got a delivery without 'montage' last Saturday at 5.30 after putting some pressure, plus am still waiting for the montage! 2 postponement already now! On top of that a driver called me to treat me as a liar because of a misunderstanding between him and his supervisor regarding transport! I am fed up and this is the last time that I am buying anything with courts. I highly discourage anyone from buying from there because of very faulty delivery and customer care! They are very unreliable and unprofessional people!

Remote control for fans

Last week I bought 4 wall fans (mamouth). I got all of them fixed. The remotes for 3 of them worked and one was defaulted. When I contacted courts, I was surprised to be told that the remote cannot be replaced as it is not covered under the guarantee. I was given 4 sealed boxes and none of them was checked before delivering.
Very poor after sales.
Note that I am a regular customer of Courts.

0/5 stars. ZERO. For the fifth time in a row, bad customer service. They lie easily to your face, talking about a product even when they clearly don't know what they are talking about. If I was not knowledgeable about what I wanted or if I was older, I would have been scammed multiple times. Wrong price, wrong info, wrong products. Only after asking many many questions, then the salesgirl goes to check the actual right information. Unfortunately, I was still duped into buying a discontinued product. Product got delivered and it was something totally different from what I had tested. The sales girl was insistent they put the right code from what we tested and looked at in the store (she was wrong there too, she put a different code) but the right code was still for a discontinued product that she said was available in stock.

At the time, you can't be pointing out everything wrong and be argumentative so I didn't insist of further proof it was available because I don't actuallly need to do that, it's not a customer requirement to have to beg multiple times to the salesgirl to check if it's actually available. And I had traveled specifically to be able to see the actual product instead of getting something online or from a different store where it was not being presented. Either way, the product had been long discontinued but they had not bothered to change out the one they presented in the showroom, so what we bought was a totally different product.

That was horrible, between having to make multiple unanswered phone calls, going to the actual store to find the salesgirl absent or hiding, getting into contact with her but she never picked up, trying to talk to a closer Courts with better customer service...The unrelated branch pulled through for us by contacting the other faultful branch themselves and that was way faster than trying to get into contact as a customer. They never pick up somehow despite the fact I heard the phone calling in the actual store when I was there and I tested if they would pick up then. They did not.

Same thing again for another order, no receipt or anything after purchase. Who knows now if a total stranger has my personal information because they sent it to the wrong person, despite me confirming multiple times my actual contact info. How did still they mess it up? The main branch too sometimes never pick up, but when they do, they will say they can't do anything and hang up on you. They are very rude and dismissive, how is it that I need to explain 3 times between different people because they ask what's wrong and then say wait, I'll pass you to someone else. You start your complaint all over again but they still just say "well, can't do anything for you, you have to go back again to the store I guess". Maybe if it was that easy, I would have went again and again and again? What use is customer service if you can't call or have at least a follow-up after buying a product. They make a mockery of your problem, as if you are stupid for calling customer service when you have a clear problem. They throw back textbook responses that feels as if they are not even listening to what you say. It's an awful experience. Everytime. So disappointed, it's easy to get reeled in with the 'big' false promotions but never again will I make this mistake. Such an awful stressful time everytime I purchase something from them and it's a messed up order and there is just radio silence from them. As long as they got the money, they are satisfied. Why do I even have to be forced to give 1 star, not even worth that.

Wish I had read the reviews first

Wish I had read the reviews first, they're very accurate. I placed 2 orders in 1 week and heard nothing back. I had to follow up with them.

As all the other reviewers have experienced, my orders also have complications. 1 product I ordered the last 2 of, however only 1 can be "delivered" as 1 is damaged at the warehouse. Another product I ordered is also damaged, so can't be delivered.

The funny thing is, all of these items are still available to order on the website, so some other customer is going to have to deal with this as well.

To date: no deliveries, no refunds.

Poor service,i visited the flacq branch and doublecheck about the product with the saleswomen she confirmed to me that they have the product and after i have make the payement ,then they told me that they dont have the product and the day after that no follow up have been made :i am left wondering about my money as i have paid for the product and the staff have confirmed to me that they have the availaibility but after payement they somehow dont have the product ,this is poor quality of service

Regarding delayed delivery

I placed my order over two weeks ago and was initially told it would be delivered within a few days. Unfortunately, I’m still waiting. There has been no proper update or communication from the seller regarding the delay, and tracking information is either unavailable or completely unhelpful.

This level of service is unacceptable, If there were delays, a simple update would have gone a long way, but instead, I’ve been left in the dark and frustrated. It’s not right to expect customers to start paying for something they haven’t even received. I trusted the seller to deliver on time, and that trust has been broken. I hope this is resolved soon, or I will have to consider other options.

A Surprising Scene at Courts Mammouth Flacq

Today, May 25th, 2025, I visited the Courts Mammouth store at Flacq. While browsing, something caught my attention—what I assume was the manager having a very public conversation with a staff member. They were discussing an email, and it all happened right there on the shop floor, in front of customers like myself.

I was honestly surprised. It’s one thing to manage your team, but doing so in front of customers seems unprofessional and uncomfortable for everyone involved. It made me feel a bit awkward just standing there while this discussion was happening out in the open.

I hope this was just a one-off situation. Still, it reminded me of the importance of handling internal matters privately—especially when there are customers around.
