Adding my voice to that of others

Adding my voice to that of others. I love my Cowboy bike, but the frame was recalled on 2nd May 2025 and since then - nothing! No info and can’t get past the chat bot . If I ask to speak to a human the conversation abruptly shuts down. Absolutely hopeless.

Seems like no one is working in this Company.

I’m really disappointed with Cowboy’s customer service. I ordered a complete rear wheel unit (which costs me over 600 Euros) back in July, and despite months of waiting, it still hasn’t been delivered — without any meaningful update or timeline. Since I rely on my bike daily, I eventually had to spend extra money to keep it running. These are costs I never should have had to pay.
The bike itself is great, but the service and logistics are far below what you would expect from a premium brand. I hope Cowboy seriously improves their communication and delivery reliability.

Two Torque problems within a year

Two Torque problems within a year, First time took 2 months to get the parts, this time I have been waiting since they end of august, and they keep delaying the estimate every month, so far it has said, October then November, then December. The worst part is, that I opened a ticket to talk to a team member about this and for more clarity/ better solution, but nobody in their "Customer service" team has responded in 3 weeks despite request. I still have no idea when this will be fixe, should have chosen a better brand.

Despite the so called delivery updates and false promises about the delivery...
No reactions on my e-mail requests.
It looks like I lost my money on a scam.

Helpful specialist and smooth ride

I booked a test ride on the Cowboy website because I wanted to know more about the Cruiser. I also noticed there was a student discount, so I didn't hesitate. I scheduled my appointment, and less than 24 hours later a Cowboy specialist arrived at my door with the model I requested.

I first received a clear introduction, had the chance to ask all my questions, and then got to take the bike for a proper ride. The specialist, Simon, was enthusiastic, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. He answered everything I wanted to know.

I'm now fully convinced to buy a Cowboy! Huge thanks to Simon for the excellent service. I can definitely recommend booking a test ride with Cowboy to anyone considering it!

This company is making me go insane

This company is making me go insane. Over 6 months no bike no response. I am trying to get a refund- still no response. I would say never ever buy this bike. I just want my money back.

This bike is an absolute nightmare

This bike is an absolute nightmare, falling apart in less than two years. The motor broke in January and it took six months to get a replacement. Now, just three months later, it’s broken again. I was told the parts would be shipped within 7 working days, but once they realized it was still under warranty, the delivery suddenly got delayed AGAIN without notifying me. I had to contact them to get the news that the delivery date has been pushed back another 4-5 weeks, meaning I’ll be waiting 1.5 months for parts that would’ve arrived within a week if I’d paid for them myself.

Last time, they claimed the delays were due to moving to a new factory in France and that everything would be faster complete nonsense. Nothing has improved; everything takes forever, and the customer service is terrible.

Truly one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. Save yourself the frustration and stay far away.

Zero communication no delivery date

I have purchased a bike 3 weeks ago from the website and I have had no communication regarding delivery date. When I have been able to speak to customer service they just close the chat leaving a generic response. Very very frustrating. Until these issues are resolved DO NOT BUY A COWBOY BIKE.

Is Cowboy the biggest scam in electric bikes: Takes money. No bikes delivered?

Is Cowboy just one big scam? I dont know. But it feels like it.

My advice is dont order. Stay well clear, and dont get caught like I did.

I paid more than £3000 for a bike in May.

Since then, I've received nothing. NOTHING.

Cowboy gives false delivery dates that never result in a delivery. (You dont even get an explanation - they just dont deliver).

There is no personal human support. They just answer by bot and tell you to recheck the (false) delivery date. You're caught in a weird, no-communication loop.

They send patronising, generic emails every three months or so thanking you for your 'excitement' and your 'patience', when you have neither: you just want what you paid for.

I've never experienced anything like it.

On top of that they now have a new line. They pretend that by apparently relocating production, all their deliveries are now imminent. You just need to wait a few more weeks. Really? Still nothing.

I hope a journalist picks this up. I hope this goes viral.

Whether the company is about to go under (with our money) or whether they never intended to provide the products - who knows? But at the moment they definitely dont provide any bikes or any proper explanation.

My advice is that if you want a Cowboy bike, definitely dont order one now. Wait.

If they are a real company eventually deliveries will start - who knows when? 2027? 2028?

Until then, avoid them and get a Van Moof or a Tenway - both of whom deliver quickly.

This feels like being on the end of one big Cowboy scam.

The Worst Customer Experience I’ve Ever Had

I honestly wish I had never ordered from this company. What was supposed to be a smooth and exciting experience turned into a complete nightmare that has lasted almost a year.

I placed my bike order in November 2024 for the Cruiser, but it was only delivered in June 2025 — after countless follow-ups and zero proactive communication from their side. When the bike finally arrived, it didn’t even work properly. I had to bring it to their service shop four times in just a few months, and each visit felt like starting over again.

Now, the rear tire started making loud noises, and I’ve been waiting almost a month for a simple spare part that still hasn’t arrived. As usual, there’s no update, no tracking, and no one taking ownership of the issue.

What makes things worse is the lack of professionalism and customer care. You never get clear answers, repairs take forever, and no one seems genuinely interested in helping customers. It’s frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing to see how poorly this company handles such basic service expectations.

At this point, I can’t even use the bike or resell it, as no one would want to go through the same nightmare. I’ve already asked for compensation and the option to return the bike entirely, because this situation is unacceptable.

If you’re considering buying from this company, don’t. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money — there are far better and more reliable brands out there.

Cowboy can't even supply a bike box

Want to return defective bike but "logistical issues on our end related to the delivery of the bike box". With everything else, I am sure this is rather a stalling technique.

Nothing left to do but contact the Swedish National Board of Consumer Complaints and I urge others to do the same.

Don’t waste your time or money…

I ordered a bike back in November 2024 with the promise of receiving the bike in early 2025. As each month passed by their delivery status got pushed out further. After finally get some correspondence they promised my bike will definitely come by the end of June 2025. It’s now almost the end of October 2025 and still no bike or replies to my emails asking about my bike. Save your time and money and just get something else.

9 Months Waiting for Parts – Avoid If You Ever Need Maintenance

I never thought it would end like this, but here we are.

After 9 months of chasing Cowboy for spare parts—battery spacers and connectors—I’ve finally reached the point where I have to use five cable ties just to keep my battery attached. The rear spacer broke, and the battery keeps disconnecting mid-ride. The bike is now unsafe and unusable.

I’ve been told multiple times that parts are coming, that I’ll be refunded (only partially refunded one order after repeated follow-ups), and that an update is coming “soon.” But nothing ever arrives. The lack of transparency, reliability, and basic aftercare is beyond disappointing.

If you’re thinking of buying a Cowboy bike: don’t—unless you’re comfortable with the idea of throwing it away when it breaks.
If you already own one and are waiting on parts: sell it now while it still works.
