SCAM

I wished I had seen these reviews before I purchased. On Wednesday January 14th I sent an email (info.craftingpeace@gmail) requesting a refund as the Keffiyeh I received is a printed on material and not the woven authentic material as advertised. I have not received a response yet. I HATE Scammers!

Don’t Buy!!! Product not what is listed on site!!!

Received my product today and it is NOT cotton. There is no tag on the product and the delivery came from China. Breaks my heart that I purchased this in hopes to support Palestine in some way. They should be ashamed of themselves. Don’t spend your money on this site!!

SCAMMERS PROFITING FROM GENOCIDE…

This is a SCAM opportunist outfit profiting from the misery of the Palestinians in Gaza. The goods - when they arrived - were poor quality printed keffeyi made in China from cheap polyester. This is NOT what they are advertising and are certainly NOT made in Palestine. I have requested a recredit through my card company. DO NOT BUY from these people. There is only ONE company making genuine Palestinian keffeyi - Hirbawi in Hebron. Get your scarves from them directly or from people that deal with them. Also, the credit card that I rarely use but used to purchase these rags, was scammed the week after to the tune of several thousand pounds. I don’t think it is a coincidence. These people are despicable.

Scammers.

Scammers.
Ordered 7 January 2024, received 27 January 2024.
Product not as described. Product is printed synthetic fabric, not woven cotton. No label to state origin of product. Delivery from Hong Kong. Product is cheap rubbish. I doubt if any money is donated.
I will not be using it out of principle

Ordered 2 keffias supposedly cotton

Ordered 2 keffias supposedly cotton, handcrafted in Palestine but turn out to be cheap printed synthetic fabric posted from China. This looks very much like a scam and I doubt any profit goes towards the Palestinian cause. Worst type of people profiteering from other peoples genuine concerns over the atrocities going on in Gaza and the West Bank.

I ordered 2 Keffiyeh scarves from…

I ordered 2 Keffiyeh scarves from Craftingpeace ,theyve arrived today , I am very unhappy as they are definately not at all as described , they are not cotton - they are a printed polyester type fabric with a basic sewn on trim, not at all like the ones they are advertising online and the models are wearing - they cost alot of money for what they are. I have emailed Craftingpeace to ask for the details for a refund as I would like to return them and will continue to support Palestine but through other ways. I am very disappointed .My brother and friends have real cotton keffiyeh's so I knew what I was looking for. Please could anyone advise as to how long I should wait to hear back from Craftingpeace with regards claiming my refund - I am waiting for confirmation of my email from them with a return address, I think the company are in Barcelona? I hope the company reply very soon ,other people maybe happy them so am very happy to return them to Craftingpeace once I have confirmation details of where I need to return the scarves to and how long the refund will take - this is the first time Ive been fooled into buying something like this ,is there no action that can be taken for getting refunds form these companys that are allowed to trade in this way online?
I have also now emailed the charity they say they are donating to, to ask as to whether they receive the 80% this company say they donate to them , just to warn them about it if they're not receiving the donations.

It's a lie

It's a lie. They claim 80% of proceeds go to Palestine. You get an email claiming 20% is going to Palestine. I'm guessing it's Zero.
They are made and shipped out of China. I checked the tracking. It's a lie and a scam. I'm so mad.
Capitalist ghouls cashing in on genocide.

NOT at all as described

NOT produced in Palestine as claimed. NOT cotton as claimed. NOT tasselled as claimed. NOT embroidered as claimed. Highly doubt any profits are going to Palestine. Just some cheap ink-printed polyester square fabrics, which (if you’re unfortunate to have purchased) you’ll see are a load of rubbish. AND they’ll charge you return postage to CHINA. Just another company trying to profit from a genocide. Stick to Friends of Al Aqsa / Hirbawi for authentic stock.

I was very disappointed

I was very disappointed. Has been looking forward to my keffiyah but shouldn’t have been surprised because it shipped from China! I received it and it wasn’t woven but printed with cheap tassels. Tried to contact company many times to no use. Started spamming on Facebook and Instagram and got blocked for negative reviews. Will keep in because I’m sure they will continue under another name. Be in the look out! They don’t respond to emails.

Just as everyone else has said

Just as everyone else has said, a scam profiteering from a genocide. Received a couple of worthless printed rags manufactured in China that probably cost less than £1 to produce. I don’t believe any money is going to Palestinian aid.

They falsely advertise that the kufiyas…

They falsely advertise that the kufiyas are "hand crafted" by Palestians. So I ordered 2 of them. When they came, it was 2 printed scarfs in some synthetic fabric, probably made in China. Very false advertising! I wanted a refund and emailed them several times and there is no response from them even though they have a full refund policy.

There needs to be a zero rating!

There needs to be a zero rating!! This company is a COMPLETE SCAM. I was so desperate for an original Keffiyeh but couldn't get one through the Palestine Solidarity shop. I usually do a trust pilot search but in this instance didn't think that anybody could advocate to support people in such need and lie about it. It's truly disgusting. I did a trust pilot search when my order was taking too long to arrive. I read the reviews and instantly regretted my purchase. My "traditional" Palestinian Keffiyeh has arrived today but as all the other reviews say - it's a cheap polyester printed fake from China. How do these people sleep at night - making money out of others' suffering. SHAMEFUL. I will now contact my bank to see if I'm eligible for a chargeback but that's not really the point. I feel sick to my stomach to think I've given money to people to line their pocket out of such suffering.

I don't suppose they make any contribution to any of the charities that they say they do either.

I am now on the waiting list for an original product from Hirbawi, the traditional manufacturer based in Hebron.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE!!

Fake Keffiyeh. Shameful Chinese knockoff.

Don’t buy from this company. Shameful,
Horrible fake. This does not support Palestine or PCRF. I WISH THERE WAS AN INTERNATIONAL COURT THAT DEALT WITH SCAM COMPANIES LIKE THIS . They are profiteering from disaster and the goodwill of people who want to help. Why could
I not see the point of origin for the sale until I got the tracking number. Then I knew I was in trouble when I saw it was coming from China. That was not what the site looked like.

Knock offs from ChinaLike others on this page

Like others on this page, crafting peace does not live up to its marketing. I ordered two scarves. Both were poorly manufactured, made of polyester and shipped from China. They are not the genuine Palestinian scarves they claim to be. There is a factory in Hebron that produces the real scarf. They are currently on back order, but you can ask to be notified when items are available. Given the state of affairs in Palestine, they may be unable to restock quickly. But clearly crafting peace is not a means to support Palestine and Palestinians.

Scam

Scam. Stolen their website content from another company. When I paid the transaction showed as being in Barcelona. Cheap polyester print scarves arrived. Demanded a refund and was told to return them to an address in China for a refund. Disgusting taking advantage of such a tragedy. Got refunded by my credit company in the end.

TOTAL SCAM

TOTAL SCAM! Monies are possibly not going to Palestine. Rather than the cotton keffiyehs handmade in Palestine as advertised, I was sold synthetic ones shipped from China. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
