Born 1964, I started balding on the hairline edges at 23 balded forth up to Norwood 6 in my late thirties.
Rejecting the mere thought of any hair system solution, I found myself combing over and concealing with Topic while lurking on Hairsite in search of the best hair transplantation available.
FUE was the next big thing back then and I accordingly went for 5726 grafts in 2006 for hairline and some skull top covering.
Density behind the hairline was still scarce, not to mention the untransplanted crown shining through.
For lack of a better option, I kept a half convincing Mohican / Pineapple haircut for the 10 following years with aims or increasing density and adressing the crown at some point... until stumbling on SMP in 2018.
As this new technique was still too coarse to truly look inconspicuous, I decided to wait for it to evolve while meanwhile going for another 2500 FUE grafts in 2018.
I discovered Marc on You Tube in 2019 and was immediately impressed by his attention to detail. Simply no other SMP guy out there compared and I already knew my scalps´ future was with him.
After getting my act together, I finally contacted Creative Scalps at the end of 2022 and from there on, everything went just smooth sailing.
Not only was my crown / transplant density combo project perfectly understood and further defined over the course of the two video calls with Marc and Sammy, Sara also strived and managed to schedule the procedures to my best convenience.
Flying to Crawley first time in April 2023, I found myself warm-heartedly wellcomed by Sara, Marc and Sammy at Creative Scalps and could not but appreciate the human scale side of the business.
Moving on, I felt totally safe and cool in Sammy´s expert hands : some tiny itchy sensation left aside, the SMP needle was 100 % painfree and the chatting side of the experience was not bad either…
I am now the proud holder of a faux never-having-balded wet-shaven crown and dense full hairtop of salt-and-pepper hair. Who could ask for more ?
And yes, the price of it all was ridiculously affordable.
So thumbs up to you guys and do keep up the good work ;)

Fantastic experience with clearly the best in the business. Superb new studio. Staff are super friendly and make you very comfortable for something that may be daunting to start with. Practically painless in my case and really pleased with the result.

I can’t recommend Marc Allen and Creative Scalps highly enough. The SMP Marc has produced for my son who has alopecia universalis is beyond amazing.

When my son decided he wanted to consider SMP we did a huge amount of research with the aim of finding the very best SMP artist possible and this research led us to Marc Allen.

Clearly being fully aware of Marc’s work and excellent reputation we had very high expectations but I can honestly say those expectations have been completely surpassed.

The whole SMP experience with Creative Scalps is something I would recommend to anyone but if you are looking at SMP due to alopecia totalis, don’t take any chances, go to the very best artist you can find and in my opinion that artist is Marc Allen.
