You should really run away from this place. Here comes a catalogue of disasters.
In the first instance all was confirmed with the sales person regarding the pick up date of the car the day before. I arrived to pick up the car and after hunting for a body to communicate with, I was met with a blank expression as to what I was doing there. When they realised, a sales body arrived. Here comes the first untruth. I was told the salesperson I was dealing with had decided to leave. Then later in the conversation, the person I was talking too admitted the salesperson had been sacked the day before. The muppets hadn’t even bothered to find out if any new customers were going to pick cars up!! The first of many dishonest things to come, I should have run away. Two days after taking the car and a longish 250 mile trip, the car displayed a serious fault. After having a main dealer garage diagnose the issue. Who also found additional faults after a health check some of which should have been a MOT FAILURE, yet the car had miraculously passed an MOT and miraculously with no advisories or failures which there should have been. I went back to this place. I spoke to the stand in salesperson who to be fair was ok. Yet this director type person was consulted and proceeded to tell me how all these faults on my car were my fault and nothing to do with the polished turd he had sold me. Now if you want a bit of fun with this person. Wind him up and the more you wind him up the more he stutters. Really good fun after you’ve been sold a polished turd. So…. Eventually they agreed to do the repairs yet after the 3 month warranty ran out, have a guess the garage they use for repairs had bodged the repair. Shameful people and a shameful company. There were a lot more faults that appeared on the car and only after telling them I was going to take them to court did they make good the repairs. Now I’m not expecting to purchase a fault free second hand car, however I expect the garage I purchased from to honour the guarantee and the sales of goods act. Both were attempted to be flouted until I pushed back and threatened court action many times. Now await the reply. It will be my fault etc etc. Just goes to show what you are dealing with and how the false smiles at time of purchase turn into nasty stuttering insults and they will go out of their way to blame you and not spend any money on making good the polished turd you’ve purchased from them. The garage they use to repair are bodgers and write out interesting MOT’s. Run away.
Many times the engine checks were run. By an independent repairer, by a Mercedes dealership, even their own little man who wanders around with a laptop, looking proudly at it !!!! The NOCS were shown to be at fault. Now I am aware these are expensive to repair, yet should have been replaced under the guarantee. The stutterer refused to replace them. This person then had the audacity to accuse me of over filling the Adblu. Really, at least have a good excuse. How preposterous especially as there was diagnostic evidence stating what this car sales shambles should have replaced. Yes all down to cost. And then bodged a fake temporary repair. Outrageous.
There are so many more places to buy from. In my humble opinion buy from a main dealer it is so much better. I wished I had gone to a main dealer. Purchase at your risk. You’ve been warned. Goodness knows what is waiting for me under the car at the next mot. The ball joints were pointed out as being dangerous by Mercedes and an independent, yet miraculously they passed the mot. Just how. Watch out for the reply and how it will state they did everything to placate and honour their responsibilities. It will be baloney. These people buy from the auction and sell polished turds, after polishing them out the back onto the paying public. Don’t be fooled by the fake smiles, the persona changes quickly to nastiness and cost saving and screwing the poor customer. Check out other reviews on google and AUTOTRADER for these cowboys.
