0 stars! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, please do not use CTT if you can avoid it. 2 months awaiting for a parcel to be delivered back to me and i’m pretty sure they have now lost or stolen my parcel. Online help is a joke and they do not help you at all, nor do they care! this is embarrassing

I lost 3000 EUR without compensation, despite buying their insurance

Attempted to send a high value item (almost 3000 EUR) to the UK from Portugal via CTT's insured and tracked service.
At the port of Lisbon, the item was to be returned to sender with no reason given. Only, the parcel never arrived at my address.
CTT claimed that delivery was made and the signature shown to me was not mine.
The company insisted that no anomalies were made in their service and would not share any details of their investigation.
The item was lost and CTT offered no compensation, despite paying a considerable fee for the insurance.

The worst experience of my life

The worst experience of my life

So basically I sent a package from Serbia to my friend that lives in Portugal. After it was received to CTT, on the day of "attempted delivery" they did not call the receiver of the package. He didn't know they attempted to deliver it to him and also proclaimed it as "failed to deliver" because allegedly the address was not written correctly. The same day, he went to the CTT office to complain about it and provided the address once again (even though it was correct to begin with), where they proclaimed that they cannot contact the delivery driver and they have no single clue where the package is currently.

Anyway, he gave them all information they needed, paid additional fee, made a new request and they changed the status of delivery to ON HOLD. Then today, it was supposed to be re-delivered, but we realized that the status was changed to "to be returned to the sender" with not even a single call or feedback, literally NOTHING. They once again said that they cannot do anything, they have no damn responsibility over a package and in conclusion - they have no idea what they are doing with their life. I highly suggest never EVER having to do ANYTHING with them, since the whole company is a SCAM.

Avoid it at any cost :)

Had a bug on customs clearance page

Had a bug on customs clearance page. It didn't allow me go to the next page. Pressed back popped out window. I assumed it was are you sure you won't to close loosing your progress. Pressed yes) turned around it said return shipment to sender and there is no way to cancell that xDDD what a joke. It's 2024 there is no freaking way and single website built on if you press back it ruins everything.

CTT is a joke

I've had my fair share of frustrating experiences with shipping companies, but let me tell you, CTT takes the cake for sheer incompetence. My sister sends me a gift, and as I'm navigating their labyrinthine customs clearance process, I needed to edit some information in the previous page. So, I try to go back, only to receive an email saying, "The shipment EKxxxxxxxx will be returned to the origin, and it is not possible to continue the customs clearance process. This choice cannot be changed."

What kind of system is this? I immediately called CTT, only to be met with a dismissive response, claiming there was nothing they could do.

Save yourself the headache and avoid CTT like the plague.

Had tracking for a shipment

Had tracking for a shipment. First date not delivered reason hit issues . Next delivery date driver rang but didn't speak then hung up . They do this to make out they have tried to deliver the parcel . Update moments later your parcel was not delivered as recipient was not available. I've tried to complain to CTT but they are just as bad as the delivery drivers

Website doesn't work, nobody cares

Due to an error of the CTT website I couldn't conclude the import process of a delivery for 2 weeks. After two weeks and several calls with unhelpful employees the website finally worked again and I could conclude the process. It also worth mentioning that I had to pay 5€ for a so called "import service" even though I had to do the declaration online myself and a non functional website. Customer service at it's best...

Worst shipping company ever used.

Never use CTT if you can choose: I literally never received a package in time or at the right location. I always had to go to the warehouse to pick it up myself.

They offer a locker service but cannot ship to the locker because it's in the metro station.

A circus company. Boycott those clows.

Lost my parcel, didn't delive on time, and bad customer service

I pay extra money for my parcel to deliver it in 1 week, time, but I didn't receive when u call the support line they said the delivery man & the distributor of ctt, didn't pick up the phone! The person name was miguel Francideo ( spell mistake)
And even after speaking with supervisor his name was the same mingual, he say I can't do anything we are here just to report the cases. So this big company has no proper solution for clients, I hope the government pt take action against them lies about their delivery services, my order number is DY186237959pt

Ctt Graça is the worst

Consistently disappointing experiences at the CTT post office in Graça. The staff's slow and incompetent service, coupled with poor hygiene standards, make each visit uncomfortable. The banking service representative is frequently absent from the counter, leading to prolonged waits even after obtaining a number. Overall, the inefficiency, coupled with a lack of professionalism and courtesy from postal officials, results in a consistently unsatisfactory customer experience. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Total garbage company

Total garbage company!
They deliver mail as and when they feel like it. Here in Madeira I have had mail delivered from the mainland in 4 days and sometimes it's 6 weeks! They save up mail and deliver it when they feel like it. I posted a letter to myself from Faro and it took 4 weeks to arrive!
If it's raining they will not come. Sometimes they say they tried to deliver parcels and they haven't even been on the street that day. And if you ask CTT what they're doing about it they don't respond. The worst postal system in the world by a long way. Even when I was in Afghanistan I got regular mail. Soldiers in the trenches in WW1 got their mail delivered! Portuguese are incompetent on a molecular level!

CTT is over-concerned with procedure

CTT is over-concerned with procedure at the expense of efficiency or common sense. I sent a parcel from England in the first week of January. It only arrived in the beginning of February to its destination - my mom. I helped her filling in the forms online to take the parcel out of customs. It is a non-commercial transaction, therefore, as it was established by filling in the documents online, that we did not have to pay any customs fees. However, they came back to us saying that we had to fill in yet another form with the exact same information introduced online and only gave us a week to do it. When I saw it, the deadline had expired and the parcel sent back to me. Not efficient and just right out a pain in the neck to deal with this. I do not have to do any of this when i get parcels from my mom. I am never going to use this company again!

CTT is the absolute worst company to…

CTT is the absolute worst company to deal with. The customer support is 0 out of 10 and the website is awful. My experience with them with all my packages that have come through customs was so unprofessional. if you are living in Portugal and someone is sending you a package do not send it through USPS...ONLY SEND IT THROUGH DHL (its wont go through cutoms/CTT.

My 3 parcel they never called me then never delivery to home, i need to pick up from ctt store, i never seen like this worst service ever. They are Number 1 scammer delivery company in Portugal.

Made an account, just say how atrocious CCT is.

Never in my life, have I dealt with a worse postal service, this is the slowest, most inefficient company on the face of the earth.

I have been in the process of getting a Christmas present delivered to a friend, but the process is taking forever.

Each and every time you get a notification, the reason for rejection is vague. The service, if you somehow manage to get past their useless chat bots, also takes an eternity to finally answer and when they finally do, they say nothing more than: "wait for the notification". The website has terrible translations, the actual process is so complicated, I don't know how anyone could understand it, truly a nightmare in every regard.

And to top it off, they expect you to pay for all of this.

Stay away by any means necessary, personally deliver whatever it is you want to deliver, a plane ticket and the time you take to do so are trivial compared to the headaches induced by this company.

VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE

Unacceptable to PAY EXTRA for express shipping and not even attempt delivery at my house.

It's marked as "attempt unsuccessful" when no one even came to the house / rang the bell / called my phone / dropped a card in the mail
I book my ENTIRE day to receive a package that they said it was out for delivery that day and then took it straight to the post office.

I feel lied to and my time and money were wasted.

This has happened more times than I can count.

DO NOT recommend.
