First there are very few shows that are worth watching on CTV mostly do to the amount and length of advertizing , the shows that I try to watch is news, which after the first 10 minutes of show there has been just about the same amount of advertizing as show ... then they show the same news articles again?
The other show is Question Period basically stopped watching since Vassey took over that's all I have to say about her

I watch local Edmonton late news every night. Generally speaking, the late anchors are not at all polished, but Evan Kenny is particularly tough to listen to. His manner of speaking is clumsy and stilted, his intonation and inflection points are awkward, and he often stumbles over his words and pronunciation. I hoped he would show improvement over time, but he has not and is overall not good in the role. He reflects poorly on the quality of CTV and should not be in a news anchor chair.

Basically just a bought and paid for mouth piece for the liberal government. They report selected news daily and don’t have the budget to do any real investigative news

They are so far out of touch its sad.
The entire city is broke. But they always try to sell millions of homes , condos.
Who is the producer there.
They should drop that producer.
And get someone that cares about the city.
They should just shut down.
Too far out of touch. Wasting time and money.

Sorry ctv, if you expect me to watch don't subject me to so many adds. I keep trying but I'm writing this because I'm also so frustrated whenever I try to watch anything on ctv.

The audio of the first 17 minutes of the Craftsman Truck race was from a different show being broadcast somewhere on CTV.

They twist the truth and splice videos or only show small bits to change the meaning of what people are saying. Can't trust any of their reporting. Disgusting disgraceful behavior from a major Canadian broadcaster! I hope this catches up with them someday. They have ruined their reputation!

CTV news is so biased, they're like another version of the CBC, they only seek to further the Liberals at the cost of the rest of Canadians. Interesting that they talk about Pierre Poilevres loss but leave out the fact that his riding was flooded by 100 or so candidates!!! The first and only time that has ever happened in Canadian history!!! CTVs nothing to see here position speaks volumes about how their bias does not present all of the relevant facts, rather just report the facts that are favorable to them.

Ctv has failed Canadians as a reliable news source.

Why do you have an anchor with a thick Australian accent that is hard to understand ?

The new CTV Speed channel is extremely lame when compared to its predecessor Velocity. The cheapest available programming is all you get now, and most of it is very much off-topic. Cash Cab? That's a decent program in it's own right but doesn't belong on the Speed channel. The few actual automotive programs are all 10-20 years old, and weren't particularly good even when they were new.

Once again, CTV news has failed Canadians! Vassy Kapelos used to be a balanced reporter covering all political parties with an unbiased balance. She has lately become a shill for the LPC and her show now shows a noticeable bias towards Mark Carney. I get that she has probably had the riot act read to her from the Liberal fart catchers who run the network, but that doesn't detract from the truth.

We will now turn off CTV along with CBC in our house while getting balanced political coverage from alternate media, and urge others to do the same.

You people need someone to actually watch/listen to the show. For 2 weeks everytime you go to a reporter there is no audio,dead air with the host acknowledging because they can hear. They correct it then co.e back to the same reporter Vassy) and again no audio. Like I said this has been going on for weeks. You need to do better. Used to be a fan

CTV is biased and the news content is often stale. Instead of reporting news , they just focus on panel discussions with a different group of people. The content broadcast repeats itself at least 3 or 4 times every hour and that is also littered with annoying commercials

I earlier posted my thoughts on the App. It is probably the worst designed news app that I have ever seen. Looking at other reviews I am astounded that nothing has been done to change/improve it. As I said earlier, the designer should/must be fired! I will now delete the app and use the CBC app.

If the bottomline matters more than facts then what use is it?

Facts are non-partisan. After receiving backlash from Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives and his right-wing lackey media, CTV cancelled a fact-checking segment. Disgusting.

Terrible app!! once you sign in you can't access anything unless "you contact your cable service provider or login through your service provider'. Problem is you're not given the option to do that when you login. Going to uninstall it as soon as I post this review. frustrating waste of time!
