We just returned from our trip to Cuba. It was perfect organized by Cuba Buddy, all transfers were absolutely in time and we never had any problems regards petrol. The guides we had spoke perfect German an had a wide knowledge of history, culture, animals and plants. We had always a contact to call in emergency, but never need to use it. I can absolutely recommend this Organisation. It was our first time in Cuba an, we travelled as a couple and had a wonderful trip. All people we met were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

For us, it was a long-awaited trip we were incredibly excited about, so we came across Cuba Buddy through various internet searches. We planned our trip with Magdiel via numerous video calls. This gave us confidence, as there was no pressure to book a trip at any cost, but rather a meticulous planning process that allowed us to book with complete peace of mind. On-site, we were looked after by Osniel, who was always available and provided excellent support with minor or last-minute changes. All the guides on our trip were very approachable and wonderful people who told us a lot about their country and answered all our questions. Even though many travelers had booked the same excursions, we weren't in groups but had our guide exclusively to ourselves. This allowed for much more in-depth conversations and a more personalized experience. The casas particulares were always clean, even had electricity (which we hadn't expected), and the hosts were all incredibly welcoming and always helpful. Osniel even took the time to meet us on one of our last days in Havana to hear about our impressions. A huge thank you to the entire Cuba Buddy team!!! We'll be back and will definitely have you organize our next trip to Cuba again.

Some problem regarding our organization and different services than reserved. We detail that problems without solution

We just returned from the trip of a lifetime visiting Havana and Western Cuba. As American citizens, my family and I were understandably cautious about visiting but I wanted to meet my cousin and his family after only communicating via FB for years. Cuba Buddy made it a breeze. From our stay at the beautiful Casa Vitrales, to our travels with Jorge in his classic car, our beach trip, tobacco farm tour, to our tours with Sahili (who we know feel is part of our family 🥰) every moment of the trip was a delight. Claudia was always an available if we had a question. The only sad part of our trip was leaving. I don’t know when I’ll go back, but I DEFINITELY will use Cuba Buddy when I do.

Cuba Buddy arranged everything for our 4 centre holiday, including the accomodation, transfers, tour guides and excursions. We met our Cuba Buddy host on the first day and her advice was invaluable, we also had the comfort of knowing they were just a call away if required. Spending such a long time on the island turned out to be perfect: enough time not only to discover its astonishing natural heritage, but also to experience firsthand the extraordinary sense of hospitality that characterizes the local people, despite the daily challenges the country faces.
The knowledge of the destinations and the great professionalism of Arietza made the choice of locations and the creation of a tailor-made itinerary simple and worry-free, perfectly adjusted to my preferences and available budget. In particular, I cannot fail to mention Sisi, my Cuban “Virgilio” and “Beatrice,” who skillfully accompanied and guided me through the history, folklore, music, and contradictions that can be felt on the streets of “La Hermosa Habana,” as well as in exploring the western region of Pinar del Río, with its tough yet fascinating rural life and the paradisiacal landscapes of the Viñales Valley, dotted with its lush and peculiar mogotes. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Lazzaro, Roberto, and the other skilled and friendly drivers who accompanied me for hundreds of kilometers—from Havana to Trinidad, to Cayo Santa Maria, to Varadero—along the island’s not always easy roads.
Finally, one element that truly made a difference was the constant assistance of Osniel, always present and available throughout the trip: ready to provide suggestions and guidance, but also to resolve any unforeseen issues. Knowing I could rely on immediate support, even from a distance, made the experience all the more serene and safe.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Cuba Buddy to anyone wishing to enjoy a personalized, authentic, and worry-free journey: a trustworthy reference point for those seeking not just a vacation, but a true life experience.

I couldn't recommend this company more. They were beyond helpful and wonderful to work with. They built a trip for me that met all of my needs and worked with me on changes and revisions. They even rescheduled it at the last minute due to a medical emergency my husband had. They were patient and flexible and really knowledgeable. The local tour guides were perfect, helpful, were able to answer all of our questions and gave us great recommendations. The guest house was beautiful and comfortable and the staff were so sweet and helpful. Beautiful country, amazing people and great food. Definitely recommend Cuba Buddy!

Recently, I decided to visit Cuba and determine for myself what the nation and culture are like. When I contacted Cuba buddy, as opposed to giving me a fixed itinerary, they asked me what I wanted. I stated dancing salsa in Havana, national parks, snorkeling in the Caribbean, colonial architecture and a cigar factory. Within a few days, they had set up a 14 day five city exploration of Cuba for me. They took care of all transportation, lodging, and 1 to 2 tours in each of my five cities. Cuba is a nation which experiences poverty and decay. However, I was able to see a nation which was united around pride of their nation. Even in poor areas, people were pleasant, children played, and people swept the sidewalk to keep it clean. Cuba buddy gave me excellent service. I was able to contact them when needed. I’m a 69 year-old male US citizen. I traveled alone and spoke little Spanish. You must be ready to find adventure for yourself by walking about, cab or other options. The national electric grid experienced 12-18 hour outages each day. All CB lodging had alternative power and kept the lights on. Cuba buddy set the stage for a overall excellent experience. I have no problem recommending Cuba Budy to those wanting a up close and personal visit to Cuba and draw conclusions by their experience.

The agency was impeccably organised, every detail well planned to make the experience memorable. The schedules, the destinations, the gastronomic recommendations and all the local partners made my trip and my family's trip the best time and the best experience.
It is the best experience I have ever had on a trip. Cuba is an exceptional destination, it is magical, the houses of Havana and its colours, the food, the music and the journey through every street that makes the destination full of vibrant notes.
Going to its nearby cities and visiting its history makes for a culturally enriching experience.

Exceptional 42-day experience around the entire Island of Cuba thanks to Cuba Buddy!

Magdiel was so helpful and friendly. He called me back when he said he would. He gave me valuable information. And assisted me with our visas for Cuba and tour and currency information.

The trip organised by Cuba-Buddy was very nice and perfectly organised. Perfect communication right from the organisation of the trip and also during the trip, everything went very smoothly.
The price/performance ratio was absolutely fine.
The accommodation was very nice. All the people who accompanied us on the trip (tour guide, driver, hosts of the casas) were very nice and courteous. A competent contact person from Cuba-Buddy was available to us at all times.
However, we did not have to resort to this at all.
We can recommend Cuba-Buddy without reservation and it was definitely not our last time in Cuba. We would be very happy to travel with Cuba-Buddy again.

The booking process is smooth and transparent. Magdiel is a knowledgeable person and helps a lot. I will post another review while getting services from Cuba Buddy in 3 weeks time.
