The worst mining software

The worst mining software. It crashes the OS all the time. I've tried it a couple of weeks busting my parts to get it to work, but it keeps crashing my system like I've never seeing before. The minimum withdrawal is 0.002 BTC, which is too high in comparison to other mainstream miners. Both the web page and the application provide inconsistent information about the profitability. Also, they don't sync. Some configurations seemed to be fake because they take no effect in the system. The plots provided are useless. Conclusion, I don't trust this app, it made me waist time and money because I couldn't withdraw my earnings, but there's no point in trying to reach 0.002 BTC if I have to reboot the system several times a day (no joke).

I have three computers

I have three computers, two with an i7 and one with an i3, running 24hrs per day. My account is configured to reward in Algorand, which is currently about $1.72. It took about 1 week to earn 0.4 Algorand. What's worse, you can't cash out until your account reaches 0.002 BTC (currently $98). That means it would take nearly 1.5 years for me to cash out the minimum value. Cudo Miner is 100% a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stops working after a few weeks

As others have stated, works Ok for a few weeks, then all kinds of problems; solve one and run into another.

Also, you need to mine a certain amount before you can claim your crypto. Like others, I am just below that amount and can't get it to work after weeks, and so weeks of mining actually cost me money.

Ubuntu 20.04, Nvidia 3090.

RUN FAR AWAY!

Seem to work okay for about a month

Seem to work okay for about a month. Then suddenly errors on all algorithms. Running on Ubuntu with the latest 20.04 update and Nvidia drivers. Just under the withdrawal rate of 0.06. meaning that there's no way for me to get it started anymore, and I can't withdraw what I've already mined. Run far away.

Easy to get started but everything else sucks

The only real good thing about Cudo Miner is that it's easy to install, other than that it's pretty sh!t. One of my major gripes is that it feels like it's literally stealing crypto from you, by slowly lowering the amount you mine over time. Ive had my main rig start out very well multiple times, then over time it loses hashrate for whatever reason.

It doesn't help that they have no FAQ and rely on some bumbling ret@rds that are on their official Discord as a form of "tech support". Only real reason ive stuck with them is cause I have had a massive pain trying to get NiceHash to work (Nicehash effing sucks for me to get going). Another problem I have is that I have a bit of ETC on my account, that's now worthless cause I can't withdraw it and there's no way to have it converted to either BTC or ETH. The fee's it has is quite high, unless you have an insane amount of mining to get to the highest tiers.

In short, easy install is all that Cudo really has. Everything else just sucks, avoid and use a better alternative.

Minimum 0.06 Withdrawel for ETH...

Minimum 0.06 Withdrawel for ETH...

Should've seen this. I mined about $30 in ETH to test the software but decided to go back to pool mining. All my hardware and electricity usage meant nothing!!! so stupid.

a scam wrapped nicely

a scam wrapped nicely. It is a miner.q which forces your GPU card to mine in the background even when you think you have uninstalled or shutdown the app. I have 2 antiviruses and both marked it as threat which I cleaned and removed using RevoUninstaller.

There seems to a few people who have…

There seems to a few people who have downvoted Cudominer and given it poor reviews, but I think that they are just inexperienced in the world of crypto.
I've been using it for the last six months without any problems and made withdrawals on a monthly basis to my trezor wallet.
It's simple to use for the novice, but has a few tricks up it's sleve for the more experienced user.
I#ve tried other mining softwares and have always returned to Cudo.

Just a generic scam

Started using this crap around a week ago. $5 made from 2x 1080 TIs. 1 week, $5. Cool, time to uninstall it! I end up uninstalling it and the program is still mining with my GPUs in the background! I figured this out by opening task manager to find out why my new mining software was barely working!!!! It was using a known service called Phoenix Miner and some random loliminer software. Most likely their own crap made to run when you uninstall the program. I’ve had to format my drives to remove this scam. DO NOT DOWNLOAD UNLESS YOU WANT MALWARE

RISKY!

RISKY!
Cudominer generates revenue but the major downside is that a significant chunk of what it mines goes to a 3rd party. In addition some of the miners have been written to run in the background also using your hardware to generate revenue for a 3rd party even when the front end app is closed.

I have tried a few PC software miners, however...

I have tried a few other PC software miners, I have now settled on Cudo. The main advantage over its competitors is the ability to use different platforms (Windows, Linux, etc) and still mine to the same account. I'm currently running most of my machines from 16GB flash drives using their CudoOS system, reducing the power consumption over running hard-drive operating systems. It also means I don't need multiple windows software licenses. As for payment, once I had mined the minimum withdrawal amount in coins, which can take some time as the levels are not that low. I withdrew with no issues, the transfer appearing in my coin wallet in a few minutes.

It is a literal malware

After i have downloaded it, my computer started to slow down very much and i went on task manager to check what was going on, there was another app i do not remember installing called XMRig miner i looked at its properties and it showed that it was inside CUDO miner's files, i looked it up and it's a trojan horse (a Trojan horse is any malware which misleads users of its true intent.) so you basically download a computer virus.
