The bands were all excellent, my group thoroughly enjoyed the venue, the 3 groups that were on brought back many memories. The issue I had was the gig started/ran late and we had to catch the last train home so we missed the last 4 songs of Holly Johnson. We were gutted and I was very angry as we had an expensive day and we never got to enjoy the full evening- I really missed hearing the classic songs of Holly and will probably not see him live again

Had a great time enjoying the Hollywood Vamps at Cardiff Castle. Such a great venue for live music. Food and drink prices were really pricey. Staff were very helpful and plentiful.

Holly Johnson, ABC and heaven 17 at scarborough. Fantastic evening, well organised. All bands were superb. Highly recommend the venue and the show

Excellent evening out. Great show. Well presented. Lovely atmosphere and venue.

The support act Bimini at Scissor Sisters was an absolute disgrace. I did not expect to see a S&M act on stage, it was obscene. The so called dancers would have been better suited to a seedy underground nightclub. Simulated oral *** when children were in the crowd, I had 2 granddaughters with me, I did not know where to look. Why was this act on....the guy could not sing or rap and his whole act consisted of him shaking his bum! There was no warning of this type of act. Shame on you Cuffe & Taylor.

Attended Bedford in the Park at the beginning of July [UB40, Tom Grennan and Paul Weller]. Performances and facilities at the venue were excellent, but experience of Ticketmaster was hugely negative: our account was hacked and the response from Ticketmaster Customer Services was very slow and extremely poor [to the extent where we only had our tickets re-issued a few hours prior to the event]..

Acts and venue outstanding. Toilet sketch is atrocious and needs sorting - more needed and less queue rigmarole Worst it’s ever been

Another excellent gig at the Piece Hall. Scissor Sisters this time. Bimini was rude & crude but funny too. The BSL interpreter deserves special mention for her signing of Bimini’s lyrics!

Lovely friendly atmosphere too.

Excellent atmosphere as always at the Piece Hall, however the increased crowd size this year makes it feel more claustrophobic and less safe.

So far this year, I have been to see Shed Seven, Garbage and Skunk Anansie, The Divine Comedy, Belle and Sebastian, The K’s and Scissor Sisters at Piece Hall. We have been going to Piece Hall for many years and absolutely love the venue.We like it because there are options to be in the crowd, be seated on the steps or for the VIPs they can go on the balcony (I’d personally not like the balcony option as you are not in the crowd enjoying the experiences). Usually the security staff are excellent and are really nice people but the only time we had problems was for The K’s when people were pushing in the queues and the security saw this happening and didn’t do anything to move them.
The sound is excellent, there have been some great support acts. I especially loved Seb Lowe and The Guest List at the Shed Seven gig. The variety and quality of the acts has been superb.
I can’t say much about the eating and drinking selection as I don’t drink alcohol at events as I’m driving, but you can take in a water bottle and there is free water available.

I just feel that it was a bit missold. My daughter is only 9 years old. The support band had a song in which the artist referred to their c*** repeatedly. Another song referred to big d*** action. Why was it ok a that we were able to buy tickets and told that we had to get into the venue before 8 to listen to such inappropriate filth. I do not think that this was appropriate and we feel this ruined our evening.

Sisters Sisters and supporting bands were fantastic, as were the staff at the venue

Great show. All the bands were amazing as always.
Very disappointed with the ‘VIP’ though. Poorly thought out and really not anywhere near a VIP experience at all. 👎🏼
