Kaweco piston converter for Kaweco Sport fountain pens, Kaweco Liliput, and also the BENU Pixie, thanks to its foldability!
This miniature piston converter allows the use of bottled inks with Kaweco's compact fountain pens that can normally only use short international standard cartridges.
So how does a folding converter work? All you do is fit the converter into your pen as normal, fill it with ink and then fold the piston over so it fits inside the barrel of your pen. It holds just as much ink as Kaweco's mini (non-folding) piston converter.

Bought with the kaweco classic sport fountain pen, it works perfectly and yes you do get less ink in it than you would in a normal cartridge but when your filling your own you tend to have ink to hand anyway so does that really matter? (Or at least I always keep a spare bottle of ink at work so it doesn't matter to me) Very easy to refill and fits the pen perfectly. I am hoping it fits the montblanc baby that has been hinted as being in my future... but even if it doesn't I love the kaweco sport so it will always be in use.

Perfect design to fit smaller fountain pens. In flow is first class.
Fine how what it is, but actually very slightly larger than the normal cartridges, so may not be compatible with all the pens the cartridges are.

It works but is fiddly to use the top part you fold in is very thin and you have to be careful when closing it however as I want to use bottled ink in the pocket pen I bought I needed it. I think it's a bit too expensive though

Stop throwing away ink cartridges by filling your fountain pen with a converter like this. It'll fit even the smallest pocket fountain pen. Genius!
