It is fine and it works, but it seems that Parker has been really dropping the quality of these converters as time has gone by. I remember the initial version with the metal ring on the front end. These now use an oval shaped piston instead of using a slotted washer to keep the piston rod from rotating. It's clever, but the cost cutting has become quite apparent as time has gone on. This and the Waterman and Rotring counterparts have been moving in this direction for some time. This has gone from one of my recommended converters to one that I no longer recommend unless absolutely necessary. For pens that take this converter, if they can fit the Aurora converter in the barrel, I just use that instead. The fit and quality of the Aurora converter is much better and it holds more ink.

Works perfectly, fits even my old hand me down Parker pens so I could revitalise a school favourite! I like how easy it is to use and it will significantly cut down on plastic waste as I can now use bottled ink.
