Unite to report and resist police abuse in Cumbria

I'm organising a group to report and resist police abuse in Cumbria called Society of Cumbrians Resisting Abuse by Police (SCRAP). Tell me your story at ScrapinCumbria. It's a g mail address. We must report police abuse to our MP's and media. To bring change you must be the change. We must unite to stop abuses of authority.

Shameful treatment of vulnerable and innocent people

It’s a pity to have to give one star! I have nothing but contempt for Cumbria Constabulary and the manner in which they have dealt with a vulnerable person and with me, as I sought to protect them. Having raised concerns about misappropriation of funds by a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) from a vulnerable person living with dementia in 2017, I have been subjected to the most unconscionable treatment, which is still ongoing. They were given incontrovertible evidence, but clearly did nothing with it until the Office of the Public Guardian were involved. They arrested the perp in March 2018 and then sent 2 officers from north to south to arrest me for complicity with a person I barely know, on his say so. Left “under investigation” for 16 months, they apparently ‘worked closely’ with the Court of Protection appointed deputy who drew up a Statutory Will - because the former LPA had prevailed upon the dementia sufferer to change the original. As I was a beneficiary of the will, it was obviously clear to them that I had not done anything wrong - yet they went to no further action (NFA) because, they said, they couldn’t prove capacity. Had they have interviewed the vulnerable person’s solicitor, the evidence was there! They didn’t. The Statutory Will was approved in November 2019. Sadly, in April 2020, the vulnerable person died of advanced Alzheimer’s. This force then decided to NFA the case against the former LPA in December 2020, but didn’t tell anyone that mattered. I found out accidentally in February 2021. The reason given was that I had given “contradictory accounts” of the vulnerable person’s mental capacity! I am not a dementia or medical professional, but the daughter in law of the vulnerable person. I have complained continuously since my spurious arrest in 2018 - designed as it was by the former LPA to stop me being appointed deputy - but the system is slanted in favour of the force it seems. I have been diagnosed with PTSD and am receiving treatment - their fault, but they couldn’t care less. Cumbria Constabulary have been obstructive in my arrest deletion application, giving my solicitor the run around just as they have me. The words of a victim on the incompetence of another force say it all:
“We are talking about cases where reports were made and evidence collected, and the police as an organisation had a means of taking action against that person. That has not been put right. Nobody in the police has been held to account in any kind of way.

‘I feel that even though the police swear an oath to serve and protect the members of the British public, when mistakes are made and push comes to shove — forced to choose between the two — they choose to serve and protect themselves individually and as an organisation, and we have seen that over and again.’”
Cumbria Constabulary, take note. My fight for justice for my vulnerable in law and myself will continue.

Scarily evil and incompetent

Incompetent, corrupt and nasty people. When a persistent violent criminal moved to Cumbria having been given a conditional discharge for attacking and abusing his neighbour in Bristol assaulted a dog warden who gave him a fine for dog fouling, Cumbria police let him off. When the same man abused his girlfriend, threatened and intimidated an elderly couple then broke into a neighbours house and assaulted the neighbour they refused to take any action. However when the neighbour fought off the attack these useless people arrested the neighbour and charged him with assault. Cumbria police drove a law abiding person who was trying to help an abused women to get away from her abuser to attempt suicide and are still terrorising and threatening this person as they are too arrogant to admit that they were wrong. A man who has a long history of violence and abuse has been called “victim “ and been treated like royalty while the true victim has been put through hell because he defended himself from a vicious and brutal attack. There is something dangerously and scarily wrong with Cumbria police but if you try to take them to task they will lie to you and even threaten you to shut you up. Do not trust these people. They are not on your side. They are not there to help you. They will destroy your life without a care. They really are evil.

Dirty little scumbags!

Absolutely pathetic, a big bald headed male police officer who works for Workington Cumbria police, thinks its acceptable to walk up to me and say "what you being a d**khead for". If any police thinks they can intimate me then think again, disrespectful piece of s**t.

They also refused to get me my Huawei P20 lite phone back even though it was stolen, if that isn't theft then what the hell is? Even though I have got severe mental health illnesses.

Thinking its ok to arrest me for something I haven't even done.

Think before you go arresting people.

You know what we call police officers. If I have to be I can be pure evil and intimating!

I will never back down from any police officers and will always stand my ground...

Institutionally racist! Corrupt, oppressive, abusive, liars - They have colluded with a corrupt, fraudulent Cumbrian probate law firm Gedye & Sons to make my life hell!

Note: These also have many one star reviews on Google and a score of about 2/5! CIA seed-funded Google deleted ALL my three reviews of these police under Cumbria Constabulary, Kendal Police Station and Barrow Police Station.

I have been seriously abused by the racist, crooked Cumbrian solicitor of a Cumbrian probate law firm called Gedye & Sons, based in Grange-over-Sands, an almost all white town, who illegally removed me as an active executor of my African mother's will, through Probate Application Fraud, coercion, lies, threats, manipulation and other abuse. I never even instructed this man, my British Transport Police brother did so behind my back and secretly told him he wanted to be the sole executor. I live in London, not Cumbria, which is a predominantly white part of England, but unfortunately this firm has an outreach office in London at a place called 15 Old Bailey. This solicitor invited me to meet him at his office and threatened me, abused me, lied to me, manipulated me, took advantage of me, which is against Solicitors Regulation Authority rules and even forced me to sign a dishonest, manipulative statement typed by him which was extremely detrimental to me, although he never told me that.

This fraudster solicitor later removed me as an active executor of my own mother's will behind my back, by having a Grant of Probate issued in my brother's name alone without telling me.

He and his firm have caused me terrible stress, distress, anguish and suffering over a long period. Yet Cumbria Constabulary have been happy to also abuse and oppress me in my suffering and the white officers and complaint staff have shown no empathy at all.

My first encounter with officers of this hideous police force was when I travelled to Cumbria, for the first time to visit the main office of Gedye & Sons, since they had been stonewalling me. When I asked to see one of the directors, he aggressively rushed out to meet me shouting "Get out of here, you! Get out now! You're trespassing!" He was in my face and took my rucksack and threw it out of the office, even though I told him not to as it contained expensive electrical equipment. After his unwarranted aggression towards me, he then called Cumbria Police. Shocked and upset, I decided to wait for the police to arrive to report his appalling behaviour to them, but as a black man of many years I should not have trusted them, because when they arrived they took no note of my complaint and instead arrested me after one of them, 2253, spent a long time talking to the solicitor behind closed doors. This was done so that I couldn't hear what he was being told, so I couldn't challenge the lies. While waiting for them, the PC that was with me 2291 even had the arrogance and callousness to tell me "Just because you have a problem with what the solicitors have done, doesn't mean they have done anything wrong. That's just your view." What? I couldn't believe what came out of his big mouth! After all I had suffered from that nasty firm to hear him spew such shocking, nasty rubbish was sickening and I have never forgotten it. He also suggested I had no right to visit the main office of the firm that took over the estate my mother made me an executor of without my consent and then were so hostile towards me. Maybe he thought that because he is racist.

Before these two arrested me, they first went outside the building to confer outside of my hearing. They deliberately didn't let me hear what they were saying, so that I couldn't challenge any lies. I, the victim, was then taken to Kendal police station for about 24 hours after being arrested for "harassment". What nonsense! They put horrible, rigid, uncomfortable handcuffs on me that kept my arms wide apart and made me feel like an African slave.

COMPLAINT 1:
A complaint I later made to the so called "Professional Standards Department" was treated appallingly by someone called Kelso, who only answered my concerns with a few lines and said my arrest was "lawful and necessary based on information given by the solicitor". This was info given to police deliberately outside my hearing and Kelso also deliberately never disclosed what that info was. I later found that Kelso had told the PSD he had had many encounters with me, which is nonsense because I have never met him in my life. He also told them I was SCHIZOPHRENIC and suffered from AUDITORY DELUSIONS! He is the one who is deluded because I suffer from neither! My complaints were not upheld when I appealed either because shockingly their process says it is not the appeal handler's duty to re-investigate, but only to make sure the complaint was handled correctly. This of course means if the complaint wasn't investigated properly issues are ignored or swept under the carpet, this won't be then investigated on appeal.

British police complaints processes are notorious for being corrupt, abusive and heavily weighted against any complainant. They are cover up and whitewash set ups for police and are a form of abuse.

COMPLAINT 2:
When I was "interviewed" at the station, I made clear that I wanted to report the physical aggression of Jones the solicitor, but I was fobbed off by being told to call Cumbria on 101. But guess what? When I did that I was resisted by an unfriendly, insensitive, cold, empathy-free officer 1469 who later sent Kendal an email saying, behind my back, she didn't believe it happened like I said it did! She told me she would contact them and either they or she would get back to me, but neither did, as I thought would happen. That made three times I had complained to white Cumbria Police about the white solicitor's aggression towards me, yet I had been fobbed off from one to the other and nothing had been done. This is further evidence of Institutional Racism. When I first complained about this, my complaint was overlooked. Then when it was eventually investigated the officers involved were cleared as having no case to answer and even though I clearly stated to the investigator I still wanted my complaint against the solicitor investigated, after fobbing me off and ignoring me many times, there is no sign of investigating the complaint against the solicitor I waited for the police to bring. They are shameless in their Institutional Racism, despite the usual denials. You are not allowed to appeal to an independent body, so my appeal which I spent 3 days preparing was coldly and lazily dismissed with the minimum of effort by the nasty present female head of the same PSD Det Chief Inspector J Beattie rather than the Chief Constable's office who are supposed to deal with it. This same crooked, corrupt woman writes propaganda pieces on the internet claiming complaints about Cumbria police have dropped and praising them for that. She mentioned nothing about the appalling, crooked and even racist way they deal with complaints and that many may not even bother to complain and about how those who do complain are treated or their many one star Google reviews where they have a 2/5 score. So these utterly racist, corrupt white police arrested me after I waited for them to report aggression and assault of a white solicitor to them, ignoring my report and my request for my report to be recorded and investigated three or four times and even when I have formally complained they have still refused to record and investigate my report, telling me I should spend £20,000 on a Judicial Review and trying to send me to their partners-in-crime the IOPC (IPCC) to have my complaint dismissed by them.

There have been even more signs of corrupt collusion between the white Cumbrian solicitors and the white Cumbria police and PSD.

COMPLAINT 3:
This is about totally corrupt and racist collusion between white Cumbrian police and white Cumbrian solicitors with involve Cumbria police officers lying about me, covering up my complaint, even though I had audio evidence and even trying to criminalise me:

The worst culprit of Complaint 3 is the horrible woman the PSD assigned to "investigate" this complaint: Sergeant 1661 of Barrow Police Station.
Almost 18 months later I returned to Gedye & Sons main office armed with a Grant of Probate from Manchester Probate Registry that I had to obtain myself because Gedye & Sons and my "brother" got one in my brother's sole name without telling me, or telling me it would remove me as an executor in their eyes. This time I turned on my sound recorder before entering. I explained to the receptionist that I had the Grant and I wanted the estate information I had been denied.
This evil solicitor blatantly lied when he met me in London, because he told me I would still have the right to estate information if I stepped down, but I later found out from another solicitor that this wasn't the case. The receptionist asked me to wait in reception and went inside to tell other staff, but they kept me waiting for 20 minutes, while they secretly phoned the police on me. Just before the police arrived the office manager came out to meet me and told me the ones I asked for were not here and offered to help me. I said yes, but when I began to state my requests, she pretended to be writing my requests down, but then suddenly said "Right, I'll have to stop you there, because we were told by the directors to phone the police if you came to the office and they are now here".

So they deliberately kept me waiting while they phoned the police behind my back to set a trap for me, hoping to have me harassed and arrested by their corrupt local Cumbria police again. But neither they nor the police knew I had audio recorded everything, so I caught them on audio setting the trap.

When the police woman entered the office manager changed her friendly tune and accused me of not leaving them alone. She wanted to take the officer inside to speak, out of my hearing again. At first PC 2408 seemed fair minded because she said, "We can't be called just because someone is here".
