Excellent service

Excellent service and a wonderful shopping experience! I recently visited Currys to buy a new dishwasher, and I could not be happier with the service I received. The sales assistant who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and polite. He answered all my questions honestly and thoroughly, making sure I found the perfect appliance for my needs without feeling rushed.
The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. I wish every shopping experience could be just like this one! I highly recommend this store and will definitely return for future purchases. Huge thanks to the team for such outstanding customer care!

Slow Cooker FARCE

Ripped off.

Ordered from Curry's online and when delivered the ceramic pot was broken.
I had also purchased the item replacement insurance from Currys so was happy that it would simply be replaced through one route or the other. Phoned up to ask what action I needed to take and was told to take the item to my nearest Currys.

I took it to Cambridge where I was told (when eventually someone decided to ask if they could help) that Cambridge didn't have any in stock (as a pregnant lady had just bought their last one), but Bury did (only an additional 20 miles away). I said that as I was in Cambridge store could they handle the replacement.

I was an exchange receipt and a customer order confirmation form and told to expect a call when it was in the store.
After almost a week I was in the area and decided to pop in on the off chance. They didn't have one in stock but they were expected in the next few days.
After another couple of weeks I saw that Harlow had them in stock so decided to pop in to see if they could do the exchange. No, Harlow couldn't do the exchange because my receipt and order confirmation was from Cambridge.
I called the replacement insurance people and they couldn't help as it was a delivery issue.
I spoke to Currys customer help people and they were desperate to refund me the value of the crockpot but I had to point out that I couldn't cook with a refund and that the cost of the replacement insurance was not part of what was being offered as a refund.

I have been checking online and the item was showing as available to purchase and collect from the Cambridge store but I haven't received a call or sms to tell me that my exchange is available.

As there is no number available to call the store and the customer contact team have now taken the position that it was an online order so I should have gone through the online order returns process so I need to go to the store and get my item back and start again, I'm at a loss.

This has been a month since I first called to say my item as defective.

Utter shambles.

Any chance that this would be resolved before the end of the year, very doubtful.

Replacement insurance is pointless and Currys attitude to resolving a simple issue appears to be that if you ignore it long enough the customer will give up.

**UPDATE REGARDING CURRYS RESPONSE**

I have had a response from Currys that is worth adding to my review.

Currys have asked if I could

A) Order my item again from the Currys website and pick it up from my local Currys store rather than have it delivered to my house.
So I get to pay twice and possibly have one item, providing this one isn't damaged, nice.

or

B) Go to my local Currys store to retrieve the original defective item that Currys shipped to me (thats the store that have been "exchanging" the item for over a month), take it home from Currys and then contact Currys to have it replaced.

I can't ring the store (no numbers given to the public) to have Currys confirm Currys still have my item so I can take it home to return to Currys.

It is nice to see that all the actions identified by Currys to resolve this Currys issue of delivering a damaged item are mine and one of them is "just suck it up and buy another one".

You couldn't make this up.

Order was easily placed

Order was easily placed, good price and available for next day pickup. Staff were polite and helpful. I was also able to recycle a large bag of tech items that were broken or no longer required.

The person who served in store was…40George

The person who served in store was polite cheerful and friendly and not pushy, when the fridge was delivered it was done very quickly with no grumbling although I have only a small space to work in, what I forgot was to ask for the shelves to be re-positioned before fridgewas pushed into it’s space so I had to haul it out later to do it, delivery men were also very polite and cheerful, a pleasure to meet them
