Lack of efficiency

I didn’t like that I was told it would be in store on 1st May and it wasn’t, leaving me to make an unnecessary journey. Staff couldn’t tell me when it would arrive but just said to wait on an email stating when it had arrived in store.

No indication that the item was getting…

No indication that the item was getting delivered on the chosen delivery date. Customer services told me that it was scheduled and it will be on time. When I did not hear anything on the day, customer services told me it was not getting delivered and I would receive an urgent delivery date within 48 hours. When this passed customer services told me the item was out of stock and I would have to wait. I asked for a refund of the £30 delivery charge which I received as a gift card even though I had also paid cash to the value of around £60. When I rang customer services again once I had a notification that the item was back in stock, I was told that they could not provide a delivery date but it would be passed onto the booking team. Terrible customer service and 7 calls to customer service as no update was provided. Also refunding on a gift card with a part payment of cash and gift card is unacceptable.

Still waiting for you to contact me regarding a non paid refund - even though the item was returned in March - you promised me an email/call in the middle of April and nothing ???

Terrible customer service

Terrible. Do not bother. They are just the ‘middle man’, go straight to the manufacturer if you wish to be treated like an individual. Currys do not care about you once your purchase is complete.

Washing machine

I had bought a new washing machine got it home plugged it in would not spin.. went back to shop spoke to Ross a very nice helpful guy.. took machine back was replaced with new one.. all going good…
