Very pleasant in store experience. Spent €1400 on a new Lenovo laptop and insurance. Arrived home to find this device doesn’t come with a charger. 1) this is ridiculous, selling me a new devi... See more

Possibly the worst customer service team I have ever dealt with, utterly incompetent. I was in need of a washing machine repair which was covered by extra insurance I paid for at purchase, to say I was sent around in circles was an understatement. I spent approx 3 hrs on calls at a ridiculous cost outside of the time wasted and frustration caused to organise a repair. I was transferred from person to person none of whom could help and given number after number none with anyone able or competent enough to fulfil my request. I will never set foot inside a Currys store or purchase anything from them again. Better to buy from a n local irish retailer. Lesson learnt and bad experience shared with many who agree.

Never had so much trouble and time wasting in my life. I will never buy anything from Currys again. It took nearly a year to sort out a laptop that would not switch on. They refused to help me. Absolutely disgusting Customer Service. I was so upset by it all.

I am posting this here because Currys Ireland is completely ignoring my emails and replying with useless, generic automated templates that do not address my problem.
Our Kenwood American Fridge Freezer was damaged on delivery by your team back in December 2025. It has never worked right since, causing serious health issues for my family due to completely erratic temperatures. An engineer finally came out and confirmed the unit is terminally broken, officially issuing an exchange authorisation under Uplift Number: PER12030355-128-27535.
Despite your own team approving this replacement, your customer service agents are completely ghosting me or sending robotic, copy-paste replies.
The fridge I originally bought was an A energy-rated model. I bought it specifically for its size, price, and high energy efficiency. There are no other A-rated fridges at that exact same price point now—everything else costs hundreds of Euros more.
Because your delivery team broke my appliance, I expect Currys to honor my statutory rights under Irish law. I need a replacement that matches my original specifications (A-rated and the correct size) without being forced to pay hundreds of Euros extra for your mistake
Stop sending me generic emails. Look up my Uplift Number: PER12030355-128-27535 and have a real manager phone me today to sort this out, before this goes further with the CCPC.

I couldn't recommend them enough. Easy to find what I wanted, all measurements online, contacted me the same day to arrange a delivery day. Sent a message a few days before to confirm time slot, and the delivery men called me when they were 30 mins away to make sure someone was at home. They had my washing machine inside in no time, very friendly lads, would have taken the old one away too but I had it promised to someone else. Fantastic service, great price, excellent delivery.
Great if all is good but if somethings goes wrong they refuse to fix it . I’m waiting almost 2 years on item that broke immediately, they offered to replace it and keep telling me it’s on the way. My fridge is broken months, it’s impossible to get through to their phone line and they are useless emailing. They keep telling me it’s not their problem even though it’s in warranty. I’d to throw out hundreds of euros of food that had gone off. I can’t cook in advance & my son got food poisonings. It’s very serious (& dangerous) and they ignore me continuously. I’m never buying from Currys again .

After five months from the purchase, my Hisense induction hob stopped working. The Currys helpline not only did not help me, but also misdirected me to a third-party company, which has nothing to do with the Hisense service. Three hours on the phone, three different agents - including one in the UK despite choosing the option that I am calling from Ireland - problem still not solved. Eventually had to call Hisense in the UK. Why do the Currys sell the appliances if they cannot provide after-sales service? Where are the customers' rights? I bought the hob in Currys Ireland just for the peace of mind if something goes wrong - peace of mind is the last thing I can feel now, left without the hob and no idea when I could again prepare the meal for the family. I would not recommend buying anything from Currys Ireland.

Bought a laptop a year or so ago. When doing so they asked me if they wanted me to set it up. I agreed.
What I didn’t know was that it entailed creating a new email address for me and in order to use anything associated with the laptop I must use that account and that email.
This has come back to bite me in many ways resulting in data loss and many evenings stressed out of my mind because of it. Things that should be a simple task are now excruciating with jumping between accounts. If I ever buy a computer from them again I won’t be relying on staff for anything and will certainly set it up myself.

Updating my review as customer service was excellent on return.

Where do I even begin? Honestly, the only advice I can give is, do not waste your money at Currys.
This entire ordeal dates back to when I placed my original order on March 21st. I purchased a Salter Mini Massage Gun online, a decision I now seriously regret. When the item finally arrived, it was clearly damaged straight out of the box and looked like it had already been used. Completely unacceptable.
Currys arranged a collection and replacement, but even that process was painfully slow, the faulty item wasn’t collected until April 2nd. Then, when the “replacement” eventually arrived on April 13th, it was in an even worse condition than the first one. At that point, I explicitly requested a refund. Instead, they ignored that request and sent out yet another replacement I never asked for.
From there, the situation only got worse. I had to chase their customer service team repeatedly just to arrange another collection, which didn’t happen until May 6th. The item was taken from my home, but since then, I’ve heard nothing, no confirmation, no update, nothing. Despite my continued follow-ups, I’m now being told that their system shows the collection as “failed,” which is simply untrue.
To make matters worse, the customer service experience has been appalling. Responses take at least two working days, and every reply comes from a different person who clearly hasn’t read any previous correspondence. Each message is the same copy-and-paste template, offering no real answers or solutions.
Overall, this has been an incredibly frustrating and poorly handled experience from start to finish.

I have called 3 times and gone back into the store to simply try and change the delivery date - I spent nearly 3k euro on products for my new house and I can honestly say the customer service I have received is nothing short of appalling.
I was sent back to the store to get a reference number which I did, then because you can't verify the order because the sales rep forgot to put a name on it you can't change the delivery date.
I live 1 hour drive from the store so now I have to drive back up to get a name on the account so the order can be verified which was a mistake of one of your employees. I can honestly say that the customer service is shocking and I will never order anything from Currys again - Nobody in the call center was helpful and it's error after error in the store, just simply not good enough for a paying customer

Ordered a tv two days ago online, I took the day off work today so I could be here when the tv arrived. My mobile phone rang last night with a Glasgow number and the lady was from curry’s trying to sell me accident insurance, I told her that I had already said no to this online as my home insurance would cover this. Curry’s told me that I would get an email this morning this morning giving me a four hour window for the delivery. I have received no email from them. I then phoned their customer service number and after about 10 minutes it told me I would have to check the delivery status online with dpd. I then went to the dpd app and put my deliver number into the app and the response was the number was incorrect. Now because of their totally shoddy service, I have tried to cancel this tv that they charged me £25 for delivery and it seems I can’t because on their systems the delivery number does not exist. Avoid at all costs, what a bunch of cowboys.

Despite being less than a year old, my LG Washer Dryer developed a serious fault on 15 April 2026. While set to a cold wash, the machine started overheating and smoking via the detergent drawer.
On 15 April, I attempted twice to contact Curry's by phone regarding the fault but was unsuccessful after significant wait times. I then returned to website and followed the alternative contact method provided by emailing customer support.
I was advised in writing by Curry's not to use the appliance and informed that I would be contacted within 72 hours. This did not occur.
After following up by email on multiple occasions over the following two weeks, I was finally instructed to contact the repair line directly.
Since then, I have repeatedly attempted to do so. On various occasions I have either:
1. been unable to get through,
2. spoken to representatives unable to assist,
3. or been transferred to the Irish repair team where the call disconnected while waiting.
Email support will not organise a callback from the phone team and have tried pushing me to speak to LG directly.
I have now been without a washing machine for over a month. I am in the process of drafting a registered letter to the Dublin office and looking at the process for small claims.
I will never buy an appliance from Curry's again, as they have no effective support process in the event of a fault.

Mahon Point nrnch - made a mistake due to not listening. Was promised a follow up
Follow up was done and confirmed delivery would arrive on time (time constraints due to item purchase being a birthday present). After that, no calls, took 9 calls of 9 mins waiting time each to het through to the shop. The person on the line lacked listening skills , or customer service skills. He was rude. Name Godson (thats what he said, but based on interaction, wouldnt trust it)
The staff in the shop have no customer service skills. Its not the first time I have problems with this branch- honestly, they are not worth the hassle. Mever buying from them again.

Customer service is abysmal and incredibly difficult to contact.
Emails do not get answered. Agent after agent supplied wrong number after wrong number, some of which were not even in service and not one offered to take details, connect me to the proper line or call back. No interest in resolving what was a very serious issue involving a cooker they supplied.
Will not be a returning customer

FOLLOWING ON FROM THIS REVIEW: I contacted currys again and we have been emailing back and forth for a week. Long story short they done nothing for me. I have requested a phone call multiple times and no one will ring and speak to me about my complaint. A waste of time they reply to a review to look good but do nothing.
Samsung ipad less than 6 months old stopped working. Had no choice but to have it repaired. Procedures were not followed by staff and I was never asked signed to sign service docket which stated it would be restored to factory settings. Either way I couldn't back it up because it just stopped working. Now my sons robux account etc is lost and no complaints department to deal with unhappy customers. Staff in the shop rude and unapologetic. Never again will I buy from curry's. 100% would not recommend this store for anything.

As before, I'm only doing one star to post a review. I would give minus by a million if it was available. 7th April we first contacted Currys Customer Service re our broken fan oven. It's now 17th May, and we still haven't had it fixed. Currys Customer Service is not fit for purpose. They just push you from pillar to post. Zillions if calls an emails got us nowhere. According to Currys, it's up to us to get in touch with the manufacturer (no help from them re addresses or numbers). This is against consumer law in Ireland. We bought the oven Nov 2025, it's still under Currys guarantee.!! It was an absolute nightmare dealing with this company. Never ever again! I hope this review helps others make the right decision and stay away. We will just have to try our bank for a charge back, and Currys can come and take their broken oven away. And Currys, if you see this, don't bother asking us to contact you, it's too stressful. You contact us !!!!

I wanted to buy a 270 euro Ninja Food Processor found it in the Limerick Curry's and took it up to the counter.
Being Ignored by about five different employee's wasn't great but felt that maybe I should give them time after their little chats about what they will do on their weekend.
After about ten minutes I decided to take the product back to the place I had found it placing it neatly in its alcove and then left the store.
Wasn't a great experience, going to buy it on Amazon instead.
