Recieved a call today, they had my details and informed me that my policy had lapsed which sent me into panic mode. I asked them to email me new quote and hung up, checked my back account and then called my old broker. Life insurance still active!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I've been called by a lady named Sharon to tell me they are calling in the name of CSM solutions and they can raise a claim against my company insurance. They had personal details and asked for more assuring me that the DOB is too personal to ask me over the phone. They said they'll send me a letter at my new address for which they had only the postcode for me to add the DOB and sign in order for them to go against my company life insurance and lower the amount I pay. At some point she started laughing after I gave her the house number. It sounded doggy everything she was saying. I called back after I've seen these reviews and asked to remove my details from their system explaining that I will contact FCA and the police for this scamming situation. She replied that they won't do anything and hang up.

Total scam artists BEWARE! Cold call tactics used to gain personal information and bank details. If they call you it only takes a little bit of research to find that they are not a trustworthy company. The FCA and trading standards have been informed

Cold called after they told me their insurance had taken over my life insurance policy. After talking to my actual insurance providers this is absolute rubbish. They sent me a email to send and send back, complete scam. Hang up!

This company called me to suggest amending my life cover and critical illness policy. Upon reading the paperwork they sent me to sign they had proposed a decreasing policy that was far inferior to my current fixed policy and would have left my family with next to nothing towards the end of it as opposed to the full fixed amount on my current policy. When I called them out on this they took a huff and abrubtly said "fine I'll cancel it" then hung up on me. They then called back to say "we can't cancel it as it's already been set up, you'll have to cancel it yourself". Absolutely furious that an inferior policy would be recommended that would hit my family hardest at the worst possible time should anything happen to me for the sake of some commission. Avoid!

Tracy from CSM called me today saying they have taken over from quotesource, she said, they have taken over from them, and did I remember taking out a policy with them because they would be reviewing it. I said no. She then quoted names such as aviva and legal and general to me. She then told me results of my own personal details some of which were wrong and I'll see if you could pop out a form in the post for me to fill in and sign. I had no idea who she was or what this was about so I said no. Who are these people?

This company cold called one of my clients telling them that a company that she had insurance with had gone out of business and they were taking over the policies! Absolute nonsense and completely in breach of FCA regulations.

Custom Mortgage Solutions cold called me today. They claimed that they are not selling me anything nor that it will cost me anything. However, they wanted to review my life insurance and then suggest an alternative (which they claim will be at a better rate) and they will do this all for free.

So I asked how do they stay in business if they offer this service without getting paid. The answer is that the insurance company will pay them for placing my business with them.

Well, when I pointed out that the insurer pays them a fee (i.e. Commission) but that that commission is funded by the premium I would pay, they tried diverting me to nonsense news articles about lower insurance cost. I asked why they consider it not selling me something if they will be sending me recommended purchase advice which will lead to the sale of life insurance policy, then they hung up on me.

I phoned back to ask the company name, she told me a bogus name hung up on me again. I tried again, but they would pick up the phone and leave it off the hook then put it down again. When voicemail came on, I established the company name as Custom Mortgage Solutions.

It seems this is a company that may benefit from looking on the FCA website.
