Claire penned a very strong CV that captured my work history and attributes extremely well, and was able to do what I couldn't with my CV - provide an unbiased yet positive summary of the most important aspects of my career. Thoroughly enjoyed talking with her and discussing pros / cons of what to leave in and more importantly what to leave out. The cover letter was a really good piece of writing that offered me the necessary springboard to use and modify as needed when I tailor it to future applications. Main issue with document was the need to often make personal re-edits to the CV after review, but that is part of the process you sign up to.

This is the third CV writing service I have tried. I didn't get a single response from employers. I puchased cv, cover letter and linkedin. I am £300 out pocket and my main problem, I have is what they have created is the same as every other CV it does not stand out. The other two I have tried were top cv and purple cv.

The CV Center prepared an executive CV for me and it has been rejected in 50 applications. As a result, I contacted the team and informed them that the CV was not at the required level and should be revised by a senior member of staff. As part of the preparation process, I also requested that the writer pass the document through a member of staff who has experience in this area, but he refused to do so. In response to my complaint, Customer Service refused to rewrite my CV and requested a charge of £50, which I believe was excessive for something I had already paid for. Based on my experience, I believe the level of expertise of the CV_Center's writers is suitable for the preparation of basic CVs. The writer's refusal to have the document pass through a more experienced member of staff is an indication that he is not confident in his own abilities and that he is not providing the quality of work that the customer should expect. The £50 charge for something that had already been paid for is also an indication of poor customer service. The fact that Customer Service refused to rewrite the CV further confirms that the level of expertise of the CV_Center's writers is not suitable for the preparation of more complex/executive CVs.

Have used the service before and I re used recently so they could update my CV. The team is always very professional and quick at acting. Last time I was assigned Jeff as my CV specialist: Jeff was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, friendly. The CV created got me my current role, couldn't be happier :-)This time round Alasdair helped and again incredible service was received once more. Would recommend the team to anyone any day. I worked with a super-supportive CV agent - Olivia- who was on standby for the extent of the period required to get things right. Even on first drafts her finishing touches were great and with a complete intuitive understanding of what was sought/ required. The communication was seamless-- never taxing or jarring to any busy day-to-days, so we worked in a client-friendly, flexible way that allowed for a considered process complete with afterthoughts and reviews, --removing any concerns that you might fall out of sync when not talking by phone or face-to-face. I bought £40 cv making package plus ats optimisation. I haven’t used this cv much, so i can’t tell how this improves my job search. But when i checked how much my cv worth on the charityjob site (my field is social research) and it turned out that the version they made worth £30k a year compared to the old versions i made were worth only £19k ~ £20k a year. So i think they actually optimised for ats system, not only charging more of my money with nothing. They also polished the wordings. The only con is that the old versions of mine i only stated the companies’ names, but when i used this service they added the city of the companies based on their assumption. (Like i said i used to work at xxx company and they revised it to be ‘xxx company, London UK which I’d never worked in London😂) It’s my bad too as i didn’t check well after approving the order. As a result, i have to delete the city they added by myself afterwards. It’s not a big issue tho that’s why i still give them 4 starts.

This is not my first experience with The CV Centre UK, I have always use your services and recommended you to my friends. The customer service is great, people are friendly and ready to help. I'm very satisfied with my last experience with you
