Not happy

We hired this company to landscape our newly built home in the Bluffton / Hilton Head area, and I would not use them again. From the beginning, the work looked rushed, but after a few heavy rains in late summer, it became obvious the job had not been done properly.

We started seeing erosion and washout in multiple areas of the yard almost immediately. Soil was washing away, some of the beds were breaking down, and parts of the property already looked uneven and unstable. In this area, with the amount of rain we get, grading, drainage, and stabilization should have been handled correctly from the start, especially on a new build where the ground is already disturbed.

The plant installation was also disappointing. Some of the plants looked stressed early on, and the overall layout just did not look well planned or professionally finished. Between the erosion, rough bed lines, uneven grading, and unhealthy-looking plants, the whole project felt sloppy and incomplete.

What is most frustrating is that this was a brand new home, and instead of adding curb appeal, the landscaping quickly became another problem we now have to spend money fixing. For what we paid, the quality was not there. Very disappointing.

Here’s an even more natural Google-review version if you want it less polished:

We hired them for landscaping at our new home in the Bluffton / Hilton Head area, and I would not recommend them. At first the yard looked okay from a distance, but after a few heavy rains in late summer, the problems started showing up fast.

We had erosion and washout in several areas, beds breaking down, uneven grading, and plants that already looked stressed. On a coastal new build, those are things a professional landscaper should know how to handle. Instead, it felt rushed and poorly planned.

For a brand new house, this was really frustrating. The yard already looks like it needs repairs and rework, which defeats the whole point of hiring it out in the first place.
