It's not that lang ago that Daemon Tools where top-notch imaging and mounting tools and widely used.

While the tech world moved on, ISO imaged stayed but tools got lesser and lesser.

Unfortunately, even DT has become the usual bloatware several tools have become over the years instead of imrpoving their core functionality.

Latest versions of DT Ultra even crash when starting and mounting images, the installes has hidden dependencies which are not installed along automatically and supports only answer these days is, that the developer cannot reproduce the issues or does not want to fix them or improve a feature, ignoring user feedback.

Yet, there are still alternative around which even does not cost a cent.

Really sad. =(

What i've always used for virtual drives and it doesn't cost a CENT.

Used this program from a long time ago when it first started. Not has much problems plus it's free, at least the free version anyway. you can have a couple of virtual drives for your PC without paying anything, who doesnt like that?

Awful company that used to offer useful tools but now offers spyware and adware for money.

Never ever install Daemon Tools. They used to be good, but now they come packaged will all sorts of terrible applications that will infect your PC. AVOID!!
