What was one of the biggest alternatives to YouTube back in the day, is now a shell of it's former self. It seems to be full of bugs these days.

A few years back (2023), I had attempted to watch a specific episode of an anime that I couldn't find on YouTube. However, to my disappointment, it buffered endlessly. It got to the point that I just gave up entirely on trying to watch the video.

Another incident regarding Dailymotion was many moons ago, where my History teacher tried to show a documentary that was only available on Dailymotion. However, it kept repeating the same Disneyland ad multiple times and wouldn't work correctly.

Buffering anime, repetitive Disney and possibly even more bugs in every other nook and cranny of the site is probably what turned people away from Dailymotion to begin with.

It's a bit unsurprising that the remaining userbase are people who do reuploads of pirated TV shows.

Absolutely pathetic, as other people have said you can not watch a video with out having ads after 5 minutes of play and the buffering happens so often through the short film. Instead of films lasting 1 and half hours you are ending up with almost 2 hours or more as the ads and buffering take it over. I would have also given it no stars if I could. Don’t waste your time. I have now fully deleted it and will never get it again. It’s such a shame cause I love the short films on this website and the true films on the proper sites are so expensive.

Crappy website. Shows ads every minute. The ads are even longer than what you're watching.

Extensive number of adds ,so annoying more adds than movie time ,get your streaming somewhere else!

This site is junk. It makes hours too reach the end of a movie. The site keep crashing. Ridiculous and it is not getting any better. Fix whatever the problem is. STROOPS

Garbage. I havent been able to finish a single story I have started on dailymotion. Website keeps crashing causing you to refresh the page. You then have to rematch ads to start the story. Once ads are done you have to try to jump ahead to where you left off only for it to play ads again. Then you can sometimes watch the next section before the video goes black again causing to refresh the page again and watch two sets of ads, for it to go black again. I have tried multiple different stories and have not been able to finish a single on, as I get frustrated with having to restart and watch the same exact ad over and over and over again to just get a black screen.

At this rate the site is going downhill, so many ads, and sometimes my video would just restart on it’s own, it was a good site at first but as it continued it went to trash.

Too much ADV, simply.

I hate a few brands now cause of the user experience. The ads are unbelievable and repetitive. You skip a video like 6 times before you get anywhere

I wish I could give this 0. Full minute of Ads every few minutes. Buffering issues so you have to watch more ads. Want to skip further? More ads! This website is a scam.

If I could give it no stars, I would. The number of ads is ridiculous. The video kept restarting from the beginning and every time I forwarded it, I was bombarded with more ads. Usually, the app gets stuck in buffering mode, but this time the problem was the lack of synchronization of video and sound. I gave up.

It's almost impossible to watch a full movie, because it just stops in the middle of the movie. They can't even get the adds to run, they will not play, and you lose the movie. Horrible, horrible, horrible!

Used to be much better. Their search engine really sucks. Enter anything and at least 50% of the time it will just grind and grind and grind and nothing will appear. Even if you put it in quotation marks. It’s too bad because otherwise I think it’s a great site.

The viewing experience on Dailymotion is disappointing. In a movie lasting 45–60 minutes, there are more than 40 ads, making the content almost impossible to watch. Instead of enjoying the video, I constantly lose the flow due to the endless interruptions. A better balance between content and advertising is urgently needed, otherwise the platform becomes practically unusable.

Won't accept an ad blocker, but will play ads that won't close upon end. Why even have a website for video viewing if the video can't be viewed because of your ads?

SELFISH STINGY GREEDY LOW LIFE CROOKS

Their search results are awful and very insulting and never match. They are very selfish about sharing income. They never share income and have impossible conditions about paying anybody.

Worst website ever ads every 5 minutes. Then it buffers most of the time, you really can't beat YouTube.
