Dailymotion is an unreliable app. In the beginning it was great and I got hooked. Now I can’t get any movies to load and watch. It’s very frustrating. For a short time prior to today I could watch only movies intermittently my iPhone but not my iPad. Previously I was able to load and watch movies.

It is reasonable to have some ads on a platform. However this platform delivers about 1.5 minutes of ads every 3 minutes. The percentage of time you are watching ads to get through a one hour video is at a ridiculous level. It does not make sense economically either because faced with this, it is not worth watching future videos there. Half as many ads and you would actually stay for multiple videos.

3 minute video, 8 30 second ads all spaced out in the the video , waste your time if youd like but this website is ass like 8 ads is ridiculous

I do have a Channel on this site,so not just going by what I see on it.
In this day and age hard to believe there is no way subs or people coming across your uploads can comment on them below the videos.
The amount of ads here has been well documented.
It's even worse than You Tube in that respect.
It's not the worst social media site but it's far from the best.
Their Customer Service department leaves a lot to be desired also.
If you didn't already have a Channel here personally wouldn't bother.
There are a few TV Shows that would go up here that wouldn't on You Tube,that's only reason I am on it still.

If you Want to sit through advertising watch a movie every 5-7minutes for 1m.30seconds to 2min.30sec
It's absolute murder,I only managed about 15minutes and 4advert cuts was my end....
You cannot get to into enjoying anything with so many interruptions every couple minutes, Impossible.
If I could Daily motion get Zero Stars.

I like the free shorts that are teasers on tiktok, no 5 stars beacause I read they don't pay their employees.

The company no longer pays its publishers. I haven't received any payments since August 2024. I have 6 outstanding payments. I contacted support and got the same response. They told me that my issue has been forwarded to the appropriate department.

I gave them 1 star because you cannot give a minus score and yet, they deserve at least -2 stars.

I have been trying since the beginning of March to delete my account and they just come up with excuse after excuse and blame me and yet here we are in April and I am no closer to closing my account.

Firstly they say I signed up for a partner account when if I had known I would not have done this so I was coerced. Now they say I have to email them from the account associated with them which I have done 3 times and they still have done NOTHING but blame me and pretend they haven't received the emails. The last email I cc'd myself and now they are saying I sent it to myself.

NEVER Use Dailymotion they are garbage

Also, you cannot get comments on videos they say it is coming but not there yet for Australia. Why not?

They don't pay out. There is no problem with the payout method and when you ask why they don't pay out, they can't even give you an answer. They fool me by saying every time that my question has been forwarded to the right department. I have been trying for 6 months to receive a simple payout. Don't waste your time by posting videos on this site.

Best platform I used in a long while

I can't get in. It says "Ad Blocker Detected". I HAVE NO AD BLOCKERS. And using Chrome. Ridiculous.

The volumeof ads is absurd, borderline abusive. Don't mind watching a couple of ads but Daily Motion is ridiculous. Very disappointing...

The platform is good, but they need to improve, The videos keeps hanging for a long time becoming back on occasionally turns black screen whole movie is playing ,and it sucks a lot of data compared to YouTube and other platform . They need to improve

Non stop adds even after ads have played and looses where you were at in the video, try to go back and boom another add

I left YouTube because of too many ads and censorship. Dailymotion was suggested by Google. Didn't even get through one video before being bombarded with ads. Bye bye gayleemotion.

What everyone else said. Shouldn’t take 3hours to watch a 20 min video.

There are a lot of decent quality cartoons on here, especially Adventure Time spin off: Fionna & Cake. Great resource for fans to watch now that it's been out a while. Hard to find it anywhere else. Many cartoons are available on the site, which is great for people trying to watch something that's not available on subscription services in their region

Slowest site on the internet. Full of ads and videos are unwatchable. Ads at start if everyone streaming fine then you get the video you want and it constantly buffered for 3 seconds every second. Reminds me of the days using dial up, never thought websites would be this slow in 2025. Poor poor site shame videos look good but site is only good if you want watch adverts...
