Another instance of being unable to refund an accidental subscription a day after billing..

Disclaimer: My perspective is that from a European. I believe any political organization, regardless from left to right, should be obligated to have a constructive mindset and be open to reshaping their opinions based on science and evidence. They should offer ideas on how to make society better for as many people as possible. The Daily Wire isn't that kind of political organization, they're radical-right! They warp science to support their own opinions, and they invent problems so that they have material for profitable YouTube videos. Their ideas on how Western society should be operated are based on the oppression of women minorities, things which science and social science have proven are dysfunctional on so many levels. They have too much influence, so as long as The Daily Wire exists, social progress will slow down!

I agree.. unethical company. Absolutely unmoving when it comes to subscription, even if an accident was made. They dont care about you as a customer.. only for the money you can give them. Ive never dealt with such an unfeeling, unreasonable company

I couldn't remember precisely when my renewal date was, but thought I had another month. They I noticed last night they had taken money from my account a few days ago. Requested a refund, but they refused, claiming they had sent a renewal email (which I never saw--might have missed it, might never have received) and letting me know that now I had another year. I don't want another year; I just want my $144.00 refunded. Brittle refund policies are not the best way to engender goodwill or run a business.

I would rate lower if I could. This is fraud. We were given a gift card for a 1 year subscription but couldn’t open the link without giving a credit card number. We fought it at the time and just landed up giving the number. Now we have been charged again for another year and cannot get a refund. What deplorable business practices it is absolutely fraud. I wish a class action lawsuit would take place.

I subscribed to watch one program... a year later I saw a charge to my CC for $162 USD... this charge was for the coming 12 months of subscription that I did and do not want and had not used. Daily Wire uses an unethical practice of automatic renewals and would NOT offer a refund even though I had not used the product the charged me for without my consent. I escalated up the chain and got the same legalese from each person. The platform is NOT worth the money and their business practices are unfair and unethical. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! I will be leaving negative reviews on multiple SM and review platforms. Hey, Ben Shapiro... be better than the CORRUPT LEFT that you purport to stand against!

I love the news - I hate the system they use. I see another review on August 4th and I had the same issue. I thought I canceled, but indeed I did not and they promptly charged me for another year and would offer NO refund. For such expensive news, but valuable news, I am very disappointed in this policy! I simply got on so that I could see one show and tried it and didn’t want to continue. It shouldn’t be this way. I will tell others and hope that it causes a necessary change to the policy!!!

Tried it for a year. There were some good things, but we really didn't use it.

Then they renewed my account without my permission. As soon as I saw it on my credit card statement, I immediately called to get it canceled. They refused to refund, or even prorate my subscription.

It was a company I wanted to support and be a part of, even if I didn't plan on renewing it this year. But with such poor customer service and policies, it's not a company I want to be a part of.

Worst app out there. I am a conservative who is looking for good conservative news and this app fails miserable.

I tried the DailyWire + subscription for a year and it was definitely not worth it for me. I had a poor experience as well with their customer service trying to sort out my billing. It became clear the bottom line is money for them and they have no interest in encouraging repeat subscribers. Very disappointing.

My experience is similar to other reviewers. I am now retired, and their annual charge has increased, so I decided I would not renew. I went onto their website to cancel, but it was a bit complicated and I gave up and then forgot. When I received an email July 6th, 2023, that the subscription had been renewed, I immediately sent Daily Wire an email cancelling. I also immediately checked my bank and the charge had not yet been processed. I sent another email to customer service two days later and was informed that because I had replied so quickly, they would give me a 20% refund and I would be able to access my account for the year. I replied to the email saying that I was shocked and disappointed by their behavior and sharp business practices. I was charged $205.92 Canadian and received $37.24 in return. The same day, a follow-up survey email arrived asking me to rate how satisfied I was with how my issue was handled. It made me angry, but I decided to respond by repeating the details and how I felt betrayed and more than disappointed by their behavior. In no place obvious is it stated that they have a no refund policy. I wonder if Jordan Peterson or Dennis Prager are aware of this policy, or how they would feel about it if they did. In my experience with immediate late cancelling, the funds are returned without difficulty. Irrespective of Daily Wire content, peoples' relation to money speaks much louder than their words, even if you naively supported their words, as I do. Emotionally, I will recover from the pain of feeling cheated, but I will not forget. There are other sources covering issues with a conservative viewpoint that are a little more humble and grateful for ongoing customer support.

Nice content and alomost all the time aligned with the reality.

I’am not so familiar with the woke movement but I can see the truth and facts on the differents shows.

So thanks to all to make some great contents and Dr. Peterson has a great personality.

I'm an ex Democrat. Many of these reviews are from people who would NEVER browse DW - only trash it to hurt their business. Shamelessly unethical.

There are too many commentators I enjoy to even listen to - I can't get to them all. Various series on American history, biblical analysis, psychology, family dynamics, sports, entertainment/movies, and OF COURSE political analysis. FACTS & current events, not a political agenda (shout out to CNN!).
The commontators here have a political bias that they don't hide. They believe in family, free speech, equality & equal opportunity.
They don't pretend to be neutral about issues like mandated transgenderism & Socialist policies but can explain why they are detrimental to society & why a smaller government & State's Rights benefits communities.

There are original series like Appolo 11, America's Forgotten Heroes, and movies like What is a Woman - a viral blockbuster. Serious question: If no leftist can define "woman" why are they fighting so hard for men to have the right to be one? As a woman I ask: Don't men have enough? Must they now be women too? It's the ultimate arrogant chauvanism.

great shows, great people easy to cancel monthly subscription!

Very happy with the content. I was clear about T&C. All complaining comes most likely from the fact that people are used to be able to cancel Netflix anytime (thank God!) whereas DW you cannot. I have a number of apps that operate the same way. Noting to see here people. It is all just normal T&C

1. I thought I might get some additional news and insight. But not anything that other news outlets like Fox or Newsmax offer for free.
2. Subscriptions are VERY deceptive. You cannot really cancel anytime. You are lured into a yearly subscription. When you try to cancel you'll find out it didn't work AFTER your subscription date is up and they hit you with another year. Impossible to delete credit card info. Despite phone calls they don't budge. Check Better Business website. Over 250 complaints about similar issues. I hate complaining about a conservative organization, but watch out for Daily Wire.
