As everyone else on here just about, I am only leaving one star because I can't leave a minus score. My grouse is not so much against Damensein and all the affiliated companies that sell the same clothes, its for the regulators that let these firms continue in business. They are not doing their job and given the huge number of complaints here they should be ashamed of themselves. It's in their hands to do something because Damensein are not going to change their ways or suddenly develop a sense of honesty.
Their clothes are shocking, cheap and shoddy, nothing is the size stated and the fabric of the poorest quality. I have now been stuck with three sweaters. I sent two back at my own expense and the postage was astronomical. These were returned eight month later unopened and then the company refused to refund my money. All in all it cost nearly £90 which being a pensioner I can ill afford. How do not regulating bodies not come down on this company like a ton of bricks . It gives all the good ones with great customer service departments a bad name. They must lose business surely because every bad review must drag them done further into the mire. Damensein learn from this. The companies that do well in this world have good products to sell backed by good customer service. A good review must be ten times better than the reviews they get. Buyers take note of all the bad reviews. People that take the time to write them are usually enraged with the poor service when they write them, being £90 down I know I am. There is only one thing that can be said, This company and the goods they sell is shocking!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS:
Clothing - is nothing like the appearance on the website!
Sizing - doesn't exist in any format this is just a letter for convenience! To say the quality is poor is an understatement!
Returns - Well as stated elsewhere to return will cost you more than the original purchase price - I have been given 15% to get them altered to fit - REALLY?
Then 25% just not to send the c**p back - I will be contacting Pay Pal to initiate my refund.

Absolutely APPAULING!!! Do not order from this website! I ordered a fair few items and they are nothing like they are advertised! I cannot believe they are allowed to trade! I ordered 'knitted' jumpers but they were a print. Rubbish. Total rubbish. Cannot believe how poor the quality is. Feel totally let down by them. Still haven't received 2 of my items either!!

One star is the lowest I can give. I actually wanted to give no star! Oh my god!!!!! I had my delivery today and I am in shock about how bad those garments are. They look nothing like the clothing desplayed on their website. It is the cheapest tackiest looking material I have ever seen! This is a total sham! I am so disapointed and feel totally ripped off! Do not order anything with this company!

Ordered a coat. The coat that turned up looked NOTHING LIKE what was advertised. If you were running a business in the UK, you would be done for breaking the Trade Descriptions Act. You are fraudulently making money from something that you are not actually selling. GET A GRIP.

One star for one reason....I can't go any lower!! Please avoid this company AT ALL COSTS!! I purchased and paid for two 'knitted sweaters' which looked really lovely lovely on the website. However, the ONE that I have received so far is the most hideous monstrosity I have EVER laid eyes on which, quite frankly, I wouldn't have touched with a barge pole had it been represented correctly on the website!! It is not even knitted but instead made of the cheapest, indescribable material I have ever seen, the design is nothing like the one advertised and the quality is beyond shoddy! I am yet to receive my second purchase and nor do I want to! It is beyond me how this company are still allowed to trade....it is nothing short of a scam and fraudulent!!! Don't expect any responses from them when you complain either!!!! I don't know how these people put their head on their pillow at night!!!

SPEAK TO PAYPAL I GOT FULL REFUND After my 1 star review (because I couldn’t go lower!) I wanted to share my experience about this scam of a company. Only 2/3 of the awful products arrived. After reading experiences of people paying more to send back to China and getting no response, I decided I wasn’t spending more money on this. I contacted Damensein via PayPal who offered me a 40% ‘to save me the hassle’. After a few responses of getting nowhere, I escalated to PayPal to resolve. At first they asked me to get a police report, which I refused to do - they’ve got better things to do with their time! When I sent pics of products compared to what was advertised they sided with me and authorised a full refund (including post) The more PayPal need to do this, I hope they stop this company conducting business via their service. I’ve never made a complaint against a company but I was so mad. Stop other people wasting their money!

This company is shameful, the quality of the goods is appalling and their returns policy non existent. Do not accept the initial offer of 15% but ask for a returns label and they will offer you 25% which is probably the best result as I do not trust that shipping to China will be a successful way to get your money back.
Please join me in reporting this company to Trading Standards and Action fraud so maybe together we can help prevent others from being ripped off.

This cardigan is disgusting. Also when I opened the parcel it really smelt awful. It is printed on completely man made and poor quality fabric. No explanation what material. It hangs like a limp rag. It is a real con. I could not manage to give it zero stars.

I order two jumpers ,one scarf and two pairs of socks. I only receive some of the items and didn't get refund for the items I didn't receive.
The quality of the stock is beyond awful, one of the jumper had holes and the material is extremely cheap.
I can get better quality at poundland!

I ordered a jumper back in early November 2020. Despite trying to contact these people several times, still have not received my jumper. I noticed they took the money (payment) from my paypal account as quickly as you like, I also looked at the paypal receipt which was in Chinese. Now January, I won't hold my breath, because I doubt I will ever get my £30.00 jumper. Scammers.

Only buy if you know you won't need to return items

The clothes themselves weren't bad (well they are poor quality, but at £30 for 2 jumpers you get what you pay for). However, many of the colours/fabrics aren't as they appear on the website and so I wanted to return most items.

And this is where the fun began. The returns policy on the website states quite clearly that buyers are responsible for paying return shipping costs. Fine. What is not fine though is that they don't mention that returns must be to CHINA, and as well as postage you're likely to need to pay import fees. This only becomes apparent once your items have arrived and you follow the instructions to request a returns label.

Rather than go through the faff of posting to China (and I'm not sure I'd have got a penny back), I decided to cut my losses. The items I don't want are now at a charity shop and I'm left with 2 jumpers worth £30 having effectively paid £80 for them.

In fairness, I did cancel a top that hadn't yet shipped, and I did get refunded within a week. But my overall recommendation is to avoid at all costs!

Edited 5/2/21 in response to Damensein’s response: I’ve already emailed the company with the full order details and whilst they did reply they have no interest in refunding me for the unwanted items or making their returns policy clearer. Bye bye money 😔💷💰

I wish I had discovered this site and read the reviews before ordering. It's exactly as everyone else has said -- the items you receive are not what you see on the website. Some of them -- the better ones -- are at least recognisable as cheap copies. Others are not. I wish we could upload pictures here. If we could, it would guarantee nobody would buy from them again - well, until they change their name again, anyway. I've had the same experience as others with their customer service -- the offer of a 15% discount or pay to ship them back. I'm dealing with it through PayPal. We'll see. If you are seeing their adverts and thinking of buying something -- do yourself a favour -- don't do it. Worst experience with online shopping EVER. Fraud would not be too strong a word for what they are doing. Hard to believe nobody is regulating this kind of thing. UPDATE Jan 28: I have now received a refund through PayPal for the item not received and also the item that I sent them pictures of (showing that it was nothing like the item I ordered). They first wanted me to ship it back, then offered 15%, then 40% but finally when I insisted they look at the pictures I'd sent, I was given a full refund. It may be that the person answering the e-mails (who seems like a reasonable person) does not realise what the clothes look like. So I advise anyone trying to get a refund to send pictures, and insist they look at the pictures before replying. Good luck, people.

I ordered 2 tops that looked lovely on the photographs. When they arrived, they looked nasty and cheap. Also they were too small. I contacted the company to do a return and they replied to say that the company was in China and they would refund 15%. This is despite there being a UK address on the parcel label. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. it’s a scam.
UPDATE: When I contacted the company, they then upped their offer to 40%. I accepted this, albeit reluctantly. The 40% did not include postage costs and so in the end I got something like about 25% also of the amount I paid. The tops were still rubbish and I still give them only one star! I repeat: do not use this company!

I wish I'd read these reviews before ordering in November 2020. Like so many other before us, we found the website plausible, the product imagery attractive and their prices more so. Never again. Slow delivery, disappointing goods' quality, non-delivery of one item, and a broken promise (seemingly) in PayPal Resolution Centre to refund. Steer clear. Regret being unable to give "0" star. (15/02/2021 update. Refund received from vendor)

This company is an absolute scam please do not trade with them I have just purchased a coat for £34.78 + £10.00 postage in the advert it's lovely but the product I received can only be described as scrap material I wouldn't even wear it to put the rubbish out. After complaining they offered 15% & I get to keep it "what" they then offered me 35%. It's going to cost at least £12 to post back to them. They had the cheek to say it's exactly what I ordered. The quality is absolute rubbish they have clearly copied their designs from someone else.

So relieved I read these reviews before I purchased anything. I was so excited about the colourful, unique, clothing items (is the jewellery any good?) and the prices were amazing. So disappointed that it really is "too good to be true" :-( NoeB

I was bombarded by targeted ads from this company - the jumpers all looked familiar. then the penny dropped - they were knitting patterns I had saved on Twitter!
the company was offering the jumpers in different colourways. its clever imagery and false advertising! Buyer Beware!!

Do not buy from this website. The clothing you will receive will not be anything like the photographs. I ordered 5 items: all items were made from much poorer quality fabrics than the images, the sizing and shapes/style of the garments were hugely different, the patterns of the fabrics weren't the same - I could go on. When I asked to return the garments and have my money back, I was offered a 15% refund or the opportunity to return the items all the way to China with the cost of postage and taxes being my responsibility. This does not in my mind constitute an easy way to exchange or refund as described in their advertising.
