Wow! 😲 Just wow! 😱 I had to give a 1 star but if I could have scored a zero I would have! Firstly the company is in China & not a beautiful European city like it tries to make out! I spent £150 for a pile of c##p! I will be returning the stuff for a refund but I wonder when that will be!! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I bet I get the copy & paste email too! STAY AWAY FOLKS!

The Hong Kong Consumer Org. confirm this 'Damensein' website has no registration number, registered address or telephone number there. They probably operate from mainland China - it still might be worth sending complaints to any Chinese consumer organisations around Guangzhou. And/or the Chinese /Hong Kong Police...
China does now have some legislation for trading standards, and there are bodies with some scope to protect consumers. But as a probably completely illegal enterprise, hard to track down, there won't be a lot anyone can do, except perhaps Paypal etc, who will know or be able to track down where all our money is going.
Rather than wasting effort, time and more money returning the imitation goods or trying to get refunds, I suggest defrauded victims of this particular scam should contact Google, Paypal, their bank, Mastercard, Visa, and also any consumer & trading standards organisations in Hong Kong/ Guangzhou which can be found, and complain. May not get anyone's money back, but might prompt some action to prevent others falling victim to such scams. Also, put a stop on the credit card and get a new one issued!
(Their responses on here are clearly provided by a "reply-bot"... it would be funny if it wasn't so awful.)

PLEASE do not buy from this company (would have given “nil” stars if possible). The name of the company suggests it is European but it is in fact Chinese and the clothes are of extremely poor quality. Unfortunately I read the reviews too late but luckily only lost £20. I also believe that they sell your email address to other cheap outlets in China as I am now bombarded by unsolicited emails trying to flog equally crappy clothes.

I feel an absolute fool and have wasted time; two evenings of selecting from deceptively photographed items, and over £120. I want to return all the items except a cashmere hat, as the quality is so poor; the cloth was advertised as 'cotton blend' but I doubt it has more than 1% cotton! I have just read reviews saying it is vitually impossible to return the goods, so I think I'll save myself the stress of even trying. But I wouldn't even feel good about sending them to a charity shop. Sometimes we just have to learn by our mistakes the expensive way. This experience puts me off online clothes shopping. I think I'll stick to George at Asda or Nutmeg at Morrisons for nice: reasonably priced clothes that you can see what you're buying
and return with no quibble next time you do your food shop!

I have spent time getting excited looking at Damensein clothes online after clinking on their advertisement whist on you tube. I was definitely going to order a few jumpers they looked great but I accidentally lost the web page and didn't know how to get it back. Luckily I came across reviews of the company in my search for it. Thank you very much for the warning. I'm new to online shopping and realising research before buying is worth it's weight in gold.👍

This is a total scam. Is there nothing we can do to stop this organisation trading in this way? After a month of waiting I have received two of the three items I ordered and they are shockingly poor. Nothing like the photographs. They have responded to my complaint by saying I have to return the goods to China which will be expensive, so they would like to offer me a 15% refund instead to make adjustments to my items!! This is obviously their business model. They keep 85%, minus the pennies they will have paid for the shoddy goods. But who can you complain to? All these similar reviews should mean some sort of action can be taken.

The quick way to get your money back is as following:-

1-Contact your bank and open up a visa dispute file. Demansnein are on their naughty list.
2- you will be told by Visa disputes to contact customer services and follow the return procedure saving all correspondence with them. My advice to you is to back up some of your emails as this company has sent a bug to my phone and I found that some emails disappear after a few days. Take photographs of the merchandise and how shoddy it is. Take photographs of your parcel and receipts that you have from the Post Office proof of posting insurance and customs etc.
3- Your parcel will then be stuck in a Chinese
post office for months. The Chinese post office send out notices to companies to come and collect their parcels. This is completely out of your control and Demansnein don't collect them, banking on the fact that you don't know how the Chinese post office system works. They can't offer that as an excuse as the returns policy is flawed.

4- I got my money back via . I know it's a lot of hassle but if we don't do anything about it these people they win!

Spent £150 worth of hard-earned money on this website. When I contacted customer services they told me that I would have to go through a a procedure to return the items that didn't exist. There is no such return button on their website. Giving me the runaround. I contacted them initially with my complaint within in 10-minutes of opening the package. Not only were the clothes of a extremely poor quality the polyester cotton jumpers are nylon. One of the items was a jacket and it was extremely crumpled and just look like a rag.
I decided to process my complaints on this website with an audience as you will be able to see how they conduct their returns policy and how much it will cost me to return the items.

I had a response from customer services today asking me again why I was returning the items of clothing. I have explained this about 4 times.

I await their response tomorrow. At the end of the email They stated their return policy and it doesn't look hopeful. Please see below. I have to return these items as as I would never wear something of this quality or even give us a gift as I would be too embarrassed.

Our return center is located in Guangzhou, China.

According to our return policy, the customer is responsible for return shipping cost and any other related return charges (including possible custom fees). Your refund will be processed after our return center receives and inspects the return package.

Since International returns might result in long waiting time and incur substantial return costs on your side, we recommend some alternative methods to resolve this issue.

We would like to offer you a 15% cash refund instead of returning the item(s). If there are any sizing issues, you can use this fund to alter the cloth.

If you still want to return the package, you should email us for a return label within 7 days, the aforementioned deadline.

I sent the clothes back yesterday 28th November from the post office. Tracking number RN606427615GB. It cost me £28.

I don't understand why the clothes were shipped from England  to  me at my UK address, but I have to send them all the way back to China for a refund please explain?

Please explain why you sent me an email today saying that you were sending out more clothes that you had confirmed that you would not ship and refund me the money for?

I have a hard copy of the email as I know that you have sent a bug to my phone which deletes all communications as you will be aware that the banks need to have a paper trail of our communications in order for them to retrieve my money from your bank directly. Please explain?

This only got one star because there isn't an option to give no stars. I echo everything that is said in the previous reviews. There is nothing authentic about this company. The photos are completely misleading as all the items I've received so far (still waiting for 2 items after nearly 4 weeks) look nothing like the photos. The quality is much, much poorer, some looked worn.
The return policy, in reality, doesn't exist as the return address is in China and an extortionate cost to return.
Interestingly the reviews on the company's own website are very flattering with 4/5 stars and very different from the ones on this site. I wished I had checked this site first!
If you see ads popping up on your computer, please do not be tempted to open and buy as you will be sorely disappointed.

I would give no stars if possible. The quality of the material IS VERY INFERIOR and because returns must be paid for I suspect the cost of return will be bigger than the refund.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I truly wish I hadn't. Bad mistake.
Also, it is obvious that the on line reviews are fake because the same five reviews seem to be used for each garment. Wish I had checked before I purchased.

I agree with all the negative reviews, items nothing like what you see on their site. They offered me 15% of the total cost not to return them. Cost of returning is half the cost of the bill so I will return with tracking but hope that doesn't get 'lost' like others have it seems.
Another sister site seems to be New Chic but they offer 50% back so I didn't bother to return.
My unwanted clothes will go straight to charity shops.

Fraudulent and misleading - I would give no star if it was possible. They send stuff that looks nothing like the advertising photos and any returns are to be sent to China. I returned my order, had it tracked and insured but it did not track to the address given for returns and ended up lost. I ended up getting my money from Royal Mail insurance rather from the company and I believe that to be the con - no refund until it is returned but either they don't accept it or it is sent to a wrong address so they get the money either way. Just don't buy anything from China!

Following on from their reply, I did contact customer services and send to the address they provided, insured and tracked but it did not arrive and can only conclude a wrong address was given. Materials might be soft and whatever, but they look nothing like those in the photos. Just don't be taken in and don't buy in the first place. And beware that the company might change their name to appear a different business.

I have received the tops I ordered but they are that disgusting i couldn't wear them. The material is dreadful and cheap looking nothing like the pictures. Do not buy them. I am reluctant to send them back as I have since read the reviews and notice that it looks like if you pay to send them back for a refund you would be throwing good money after bad.

WARNING FAKE stay clear! Do not waste your money. There is a (growing) list of fake shops on Facebook support group ‘Achtung - China Fake Shops’ The group is from Germany (translation available) just ask them for the list before buying from off the internet. Damensein is on that list. There are many checks you can carry out to see if the internet retailer is genuine before purchasing DON’T GET SCAMMED

I think I’ve been conned. Was supposed to receive a delivery today. No parcel arrived at the allotted time. Then on checking the tracking, there is a dodgy signature that is definitely not mine , couldn’t even spell my name correctly.
Have emailed them but given the other reviews, I don’t think I’ll hear anything or receive a refund

Update on this order, part of it arrived today and it is a disappointment. On the website, the photos make the items look like beautifully knitted items, or textured materials. In reality, they are nothing like this, cheap printed cloth and tacky looking. As I said before, DO NOT USE, you won’t receive what you think you’re going to get!!

Like everyone else, I wish had had read the reviews before placing an order. Leather shoes were plastic shoes, size 7 was size 8.
For cotton top I received a very shoddy polyester top,wrong size and for a person without shoulders.
Trousers sized XL, would fit a malnourished child, am still awaiting without hope further items. Upon complaining they have requested photo of whole package including clear tracking number, photo of WP in the outside package and the item inside, photo of the recognisable size, colour and designer's name.

Oops I got caught too. My lady didn't check the reviews and I just handed over the credit card. Item was not correct size. That would be ok for Asos or Very with easy returns but THEN I find they are in Guangzhou, China. "customer is responsible for return shipping cost and any other related return charges (including possible custom fees)" It would cost too much send it back and would take ages.

I made an order for 7 items, only 5 of them arrived but I was not refunded for the items had paid for but did not receive. The items I did received did not at all match the design and materials as advertised in the images and descriptions on the Damesein website. The products are very poor quality and were not at all what I thought I was buying. I have asked for a refund but as yet not received a reply or any of my money back. Do not use this company, do not be fooled by the images on their website.

Wish I had checked these reviews first, clothes received are zero like the website, shocking quality, rubbish sizing, not even good enough for the charity shop or rags !!...utter and complete load of rubbish and waste of money...don't fall for it !!

Don't even want to give them one star! Total rip off. Ignored Persistent attempts by myself to get a number of items returned due to being shoddy quality, not like pictures or massively undersized. SCAM SCAM SCAM! AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
