I ordered a dab rig a week ago

I ordered a dab rig a week ago. Tomorrow (Friday) is my wife's birthday and according to everything I read on the site, I would have the order within that time. Now here it is the day before her birthday and the item hasn't even shipped out yet. If you guys have horrible shipping, then state it on the site instead of saying you will have it in 3-4 days. Now I have to take the loss on the cash spent and go locally to a glass shop which is outrageous on the prices.... Thanks you guys, I'm sure it will be a birthday she won't forget

Poor processes around customer payment

Hello,

I ordered on 3/5/2024. I checked my order status today, in my Account Setting on dankstop.com, and it displayed on hold for the order. But why I wondered. So, I decided to check with live chat. Here is their response:

Thank you for patiently waiting. As I checked, your order is currently on hold due to the fraud detection. Please be informed regarding the fraud analysis. As for the fraud analysis, it is our system that processes the analysis of the fraud, and we don't have access to that. There are many reasons why our system detects fraud. Maybe your billing address does not match your shipping address or does not match the card you used to make the purchase. Or it is a web proxy; you may place the order from a university, work, or a public place. (Like Starbucks?).

I feel this sort of information should not be on the customer to figure out by reaching out to customer support but should have been directly relayed to the customer immediately for remediation as soon as the order was placed.

The solution I was given was:

We recommend that you cancel your order and place a new one, and make sure you are at home when you place a new order.

Is this really the solution to this issue????

Once this is issue is resolved I will update.

Ordered 2/24/24 and card was charged immediately. No conformation email from company. I finally received an email from Route that does not have any projected delivery date. I have written three emails so far with zero responses. No customer service whatsoever! Update, order arrived 2/4/24 without shipping notification. The company really needs to update their shipping process!

Ordered on 2/10 and still hasn't been processed. No real shipping info either and support has not helped. After 3 times trying to contact someone I'm giving up. Shipping originally was estimated to be 3 days.

Awful - NO support responses, NO idea of their own inventory!!

Ordered 8 days ago, they still haven't touched my order. Their Help link on the top of the page doesn't work. They say they have chat support, but they don't. No phone number is listed. There's email support, but they don't answer emails.

It's like they're trying to be sketchy on purpose. They're not even attempting to look legitimate.

Edit: finally after 9 days, they refunded my money with a form email that said my item wasn't in stock. It definitely marked in stock when I ordered it. I guess in addition to not having a support staff, they don't have an inventory system either. What an absolute waste of time.

Edit 2: I sent two emails through their web form and another email directly to their support address. I checked my sent mails, and Wed, Feb 14 at 4:01 PM was the date/time I sent the direct email. If they're saying they didn't receive any of them, their system is hopelessly broken. This wouldn't be an issue if they had any phone support at all, or if their promised chat support actually existed.

Horrible

Tried placing an order on Sunday, but the website wasn’t working. Then, a while later, my card is charged twice and I get 2 order confirmations. I immediately send a message to them, and have not heard back. The estimated delivery date is February 12-16th, yet I haven’t heard anything or even gotten any email about shipping. Tried the 24/7 live support, but that’s a joke as well. Doesn’t work.

Fantastic Business

I ordered a nectar collector from here (with free shipping 🙌🏼) and they reached out pretty soon after to kindly tell me they were out of the color I chose. They gave me multiple options on how to proceed, including offering me a $10 gift card for the inconvenience. I chose to change the color and I bought a cute ash tray with the gift card! It was shipped really fast after that and arrived safely. Unfortunately, as we were trying it out my partner pointed out a 3/4” crack down the side. I figured it was too late for a refund/return because it had already been used but I shot them an email anyways. They quickly responded, offered me a full refund, and rounded up a few dollars too for the inconvenience. Fantastic customer service! There’s a lot of shops like this online but I will be a return customer to Dankstop specifically for the reasons stated above. Big thank you to Brian who was the gentleman helping me! Still waiting on the ash tray but can’t wait!

Placed an order, never received confirmation. Tried reaching out to customer service and phone number brings you to a voice recording saying no one is available, website has a chat feature that doesn't exist and no one answers emails. Buyers beware!

At first bad. But second chance they were cool

Disapointed to say the least ,I had ordered a 4" stem and a 12" milky teal dopezilla bong, neither of which are in the box that was delivered. Instead there's a 6" stem that doesn't fit anything I own.

Update

Dank stop sold out of my original order. But after about a week of silence I get a email from their customer support and they’d like to send me another beautiful piece after waiting to hear my approval. Well I got it and it’s a beauty. So two thumbs up for dank stop and there customer support team!

This place is a complete joke of all joke order was placed 12/1/23 the tracking number is not a valid one dankstop or whoever they sent a email showing tracking delivered but was not I have reached out several times and as of today still not response from the place customer service is not customer service bc u never talk to a real person the number claims there are no working agents I can see why dankstop u can count your days with all bad reviews I wish I never came across your website.Very dissatisfied at the point I would NEVER recommend or purchase again

Worst experience from online headshop

IF YOU HAVENT ORDERED YET, DONT ORDER!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
The item I ordered came completely unfunctional and the support claimed my photos of proof I attached were not viewable. They wasted my money and time. I wish I could attach the photos here as proof. They will most likely respond to this and claim they did all they could which is possibly true in no way excuses sending off faulty merchandise, knowing it's defective and hoping someone doesn't take the time to send it back or right a review about how sorry and pathetic this "business" is.

It seems that when you placed your order on the 30th of October, our system divided it into 2 packages as one of warehouses was experiencing a backlog. Therefore, the first package was shipped the next day on the 31st of October, while the main piece was held back due to this backlog.

Your remaining package got sent out on the 6th of November, which means it took us 4 business days to get it sent out. This exceeds our average processing time of 1-3 business days. We highly appreciate you patience and understanding during this delay.

I see that you reached out to us on the 7th of October, and our team replied back with the tracking number within 4 hours. I am unable to look up the phone records, however, we encourage our customers to reach out to us via email as our phone support gets occupied faster. While our email support is able to handle a wider range of issues in a timely manner.

I understand how frustrating this has been for you, and we really do appreciate your support and patience. We're sure it will all be worth it when you open your package on Monday!

Bad business practices

Bad business practices. Their route protection nonsense that they stuff in is worse than the things that get pulled at side of the road car dealerships. The place is clearly a racket. When I emailed to cancel I got the same run around others did with a 15% restocking fee. If you’re reading this at all prior to ordering, go some place else. It’s just a dumb garbage company.

We assure you that we have no intention to mislead you. Route is a more efficient way to deal with package issues, and we have used it for years to offer exceptional and speedy resolutions for our customers. Given that this is not a product, we can only show it at checkout.

Transparency is vital in our team, as such, we show the full price breakdown at checkout before payment.

I understand the frustration you felt at the time. You requested to cancel the full order, however, the order had already been shipped. Unfortunately, we incur costs in such a process and we treat these scenarios as a return.

As stated in our return policy, refunds are entitled to a 15% restocking fee. We know how annoying that can be, which is why we offer to cover that restocking fee if you would accept the refund in the form of store credit.
