Poor poor customer service. Diabolical experience!

Having placed an order for a new suite of 3 pieces of furniture from Dansk, the delivery took over 3 months! The furniture was faulty and further damaged on delivery, along with damage to my property! Not wanting to wait another 3 months for I was advised a technician would remedy the problems quickly!! Months later and following many emails and chase up phone calls to Dansk it transpired the replacement materials had been lost by the technicians. No urgency was ever realised by Dansk, nor was there any forthcoming consideration for compensation. Having made further complimentary purchases (not from Dansk) and decorating to compliment the new furniture, I am now completely disillusioned with the company. after 7 months of inaction on their part I have finally received a refund. They are now planning to re-sale my furniture in their Rayleigh Store. Be warned! Very bad and stressful experience.

Let down by really poor after-sales service

In January 2012 I bought, what I thought, was a quality £2600 Natuzzi sofa from Dansk, Rayleigh, Essex, but within 14 months the foam cushioning failed (it sank!) and it was replaced under a 2 year warranty. When I asked what happens if it fails again, the upholsterer said Natuzzi would cover it again (under a renewed 2 year warranty I assumed). Sure enough, bang on cue 14 months later the foam failed again and the sofa is now so uncomfortable you cannot sit on it for more than 30 mins. When I contacted Dansk to request another foam replacement, they said there's nothing they can do - it is out of warranty. I am outraged they've completely washed their hands of it as I now have what was a very expensive, but useless, sofa. The sofa carries a 10 year warranty from Natuzzi for the internal workings of the reclining action, but if the sofa is no good after 3 years, what's the point!!! I would never do business with this company again, not would I recommend or purchase another Natuzzi product. Shocking and very expensive experience.

SLOW DELIVERY, GOT IT WRONG AND WAS TOO EASY JUST TO GIVE MONEY BACK

I ordered A dinning table which had a 12 week wait on it. Which I thought was extreme but was prepared to wait as I liked table. 14 weeks later I chase them up to be told your table will arrive next week. Still annoyed I accept this. Today I get another phone call to to explain that my table was delivered in the wrong colour and that i would have to wait to at least the end of September. which would make it nearly 16 weeks. Of course I was annoyed and asked if there was anything they could do maybe at least waive the delivery charge. To my shock I was told that there was nothing that they could do and would be happy to refund me. It seemed so easy for the woman to just say "nothing i can do ill give you a refund". After 13 weeks of patience I thought a little professionalism and a bit of good customer service could of resolved an unhappy customers situation.

I WOULD LIKE ALL CUSTOMERS THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING FROM DANSK TO THINK BEFORE THEY BUY FROM HERE AS YOU WILL RECEIVE NO HELP OR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

slow slow slow delivery

The quality of the furniture and shopping experience in store was excellent. However customer service and delivery service in my opinion is appalling.

I ordered my bedroom furniture on the 13th of june and wont receive the goods until 15th september 2011.
I was offered a delivery date 17th august which is a long wait but acceptable in my opinion (and within the time scale agreed at time of order 8 to 10 weeks). However when i was contacted with this date i telephoned dansk and explained i could not be available for this particular date.
I was told the next date they could deliver was 15th September. Nearly another 4 weeks wait. To offer the customer only one delivery date within the agreed delivery period seems very unreasonable.

I have also sent two emails, to customer services and have had no reply.
So customers beware dansk has nearly 4000 of my hard earn money and i will have to wait over three months for my bedroom furniture.
