I have been a Dansk Banke customer for more than 10 years now. I am super happy with the services and customer mindset

I've been trying to deposit cash into my account for the past two weeks without success. Today was especially frustrating I went to three different ATMs listed in your app as accepting cash deposits, but none of them actually had that option available.
I'm honestly not sure what customers are expected to do in this situation. It's becoming more and more difficult to access basic banking services, especially with so many physical branches closed and now even ATMs not functioning as expected for something as simple as a cash deposit.
I've been a customer for over eight years, and I'm really disappointed with how things are going lately.
At this point I am even thinking switching banks, and I know this has no meaning to whomever will read this complain and I understand it since from my side is nothing personal either, but it’s just how it is.

Read the first 2 reviews (Andrew Ben and Andrius Bendikas). The saga continues as now I'm forced to pay over 4.400 kr to Danske bank for tinglysning and interest rate for the loan I cancelled a few weeks ago, yet they still registered the loan 2 weeks later under their name and sent me the money:
Why should I pay 4400kr because you guys couldn’t cancel the loan in time and stop the transfer, as well as tinglysning and interest rate?
1. I have cancelled the loan on the 16th of MAY as I have received no loan to begin with. See 1st screenshot.
2. The car loan suddenly got registered to you on the 2nd of June, nearly 2 weeks AFTER I requested the cancellation due to not receiving the loan. See 2nd screenshot.
3. On 3rd of June I got a transfer for the loan made, which is 2 weeks+ after the cancellation of the loan AND 2 weeks after I have already bought the car myself without your "help". 3rd screenshot.
4. On 10th of June I'm told I have to pay 4.400+ kr for tinglysning and interest?
I'm not certain if I'm being punked but paying 4.400 kr for wasting tens of hours of my time, not receiving the loan, having to buy the car by myself, borrow from a friend (so I could get the car) and getting Nordea to sort it out within 1 day, and still dealing with you guys for weeks afterwards, is not a good value proposition.
I'll forward this to some lawyers and media, see if anyone is interested in bothering with this (probably not, given the reputation of the bank). Every email I receive not solving the issue will also continue as a new review here.

Read Andrew Ben's review from May. I have cancelled the loan cause I didn't get the money (full story in that review).
Cancelled the loan on May 16th (Nordea sorted it out within the same day cause they have people that are competent and they care about the customers).
2 weeks pass by and f.. Danske Bank transfers the money and makes the loan for me. Absolute insanity.
I asked where do I transfer the money back as I cancelled the loan in writing, do not need it, and they're crazy.
I got a reply explaining to me what kind of car I bought and what website I used to sign up for the loan. And they had hoped that clarifies it.
I've talked with 6-7 people there and not a single person was able to answer any question about anything besides repeating the same nonsense. Is passing a kindergarten not a requirement for a job anymore or what's the case?
Anyway, I'd run from Danske Bank and Nordania as far away as possible if given a chance.

Worst customer service i have experience with a bank.
Average wait time on calls is about 40 minutes during the day - worse at night. No follow up on issues. When you call you are invited to use a chat service that is no longer appearing at all on their site. Some emails receive an automatic answer - irrelevant - because, that's how you respect your clients time. My accounts were blocked for weeks and noone was able to even tell me why (they wanted my new address verified - noone had mentioned it even though i informed them of my move in advance).
Today, i spend 39 minutes listing to that nasty voice repeating every few seconds that all employees are busy - then eventually had someone hanging up on me after i stated that i would like help to close my accounts. No answer, just silence and then the call stopped. AVOID THAT BANK, they do not want individual clients.

Customer service is extremely poor so does ebanking software.
I have been on hold since last 2 hours and I am still waiting them to respond me and answer the phone. still they say they all our employees are busy. I cannot believe one of the leading bank of Denmark has this poor customer services.

It was a nice meeting, very informative; the consultant was very kind and responded to all of my questions.

This is absolutely impossible to deal with. It took 11 days to:
1. Not get the loan from you guys.
2. I had to borrow privately and pay for it with my own money, in full.
3. If it was just you, the car would've been sold to someone else.
4. Even after getting a confirmation from Jyske finans that they have received the payment FROM ME for the loan, and now the debt is 0, it takes up to 10 days to see it removed from PANT, you were still not able to pay.
5. I managed to get Nordea to sort this out within 1.5 days, with all payments made and everyone happy.
This has been the absolute worst customer service and experience in 15 years of dealing with banks, and running multiple companies for the past 5 years while working with many banks.
Absolute horrible waste of time.
I canceled the non-existent "car loan" as there are banks that actually want customers and can handle basic stuff like this with 0 issues and at a reasonable speed.
I will also be moving my house mortgage and bank loans as soon as possible. Not that it matters to you but whatever.

One of the worst bank in Denmark i never a see a bank care less of customers like them and i already use 7 different bank in 4 different countries in Europe but them are the worst his arrogance are disgustingly nasty

Absolutely abysmal customer service experience. Over the past 24 hours, I have been in contact with four customer service agents to reduce an overdraft limit, Only one of the customer service agent was willing to try and reduce the overdraft limit over the phone and help me out. The other three agents were refusing to help me and advising me to do it myself, even though in the past four months I have had the overdraft reduced instantaneously over the phone with an agent. Usually the customer service is very good in Danske Bank, However as of recent the levels have clearly dropped and they try to excuse their reluctance to help on new policies and new procedures in place. It appears the customer service helpline for Danske Bank have purely became a telephone centre to push work rather than complete any themselves.

I have taken a mortgage loan with Danske bank as a forigner in Denmark. The Consultant Jean Victor Holm from Bagsværd area made sure that all my needs were met and what I appreciated the most was the transperent communication and information about every detail from the beginning.

I am an EU citizen in Denmark, was a customer for Danske Bank for many years, and decided to move to another bank due to some experiences that are truly the lowlights of my life in Denmark when it comes to being treated as a second-class citizen. Danes may have good experiences, but if you are a foreigner, avoid this bank. For context: Have been living here many years, I work for one of the bigger, more prestigious companies, never been unemployed, pay everything on time, etc. When I finally started looking into buying an apartment, I called my designated bank advisor. I will boil it down to what was said quite literally for me: "If you were married to a Dane and your children went to Danish school, and overall we could see that you have significant ties to Denmark, you could be given a loan maybe with 30-40% downpayment. But as you are not, you should look at, at least 50% downpayment for a mortgage." Okay... a little bit more than the usual 5% if you are a Dane. Not to mention EU legislation prohibits discrimination of this kind based on nationality.
I asked for that feedback in writing. Nothing. I wrote a complaint letter to Danske Bank on their official channel, nothing.
It is that when I decided to never give an extra penny to Danske Bank ever again. If you think I am the only one with this experience, it doesn't take a lot of searching to find forums with other foreigners listing their experiences.
I am giving the second star only because their netbank interface is good and at least some years ago, I spoke to advisers on other matters who were more competent and understanding.
