My experience with Daricpay was very positive. The card is accepted everywhere. in this way we avoid changing money and paying with banknotes, which is a complicated undertaking for those who, like me, have difficulty in coming to terms quickly. The organization is very efficient and the managers are very kind. On return, if you have not spent all the money you are reimbursed in various ways, depending on your needs. I definitely recommend the use of this card.

I was not sure about whether to get an Iranian Credit card or not but I'm really pleased that I did. It worked straightaway, you can use it anywhere, and while Iran is a really safe country, a card is always safer than cash. If you're coming to Iran put it on the top of your list.

Never ever travel to Iran WITHOUT Daricpay! It works everywhere in Iran even small shops middle of nowhere! Exchange rate was the best, even higher from some exchange offices in north of Tehran. Also I bought Sim card with internet package from them very cheap. Many thanks to their polite and kind staffs.

Daric Card was really usefull to travel in Iran to both withdraw cash and pay in the shops all around the country, without carrying a lot of cash. You can also follow all your transactions in real time thanks to the app.
Daric's team was very reactive and helpfull to for any questions before, during and after m'y trip.
I advise highly this way for travelling in Iran and I'll use it for sure when I'll come back. :)

The most useful thing for my Iran trip! I used Daricpay card and their Sim cards, i can suggest it 100% to every travellers. I recived my card at my hotel ontime and every important tips was told to me. Exchange rate was the highest one and also their app was really great, i could check my transactions immediately after each payment. Even when I had some questions about travelling to Iran and attractions, they helped me very fast with best suggestion.

I used DaricPay for my 4 weeks Iran trip in July 2019, since I read that it was either MahCard or DaricPay that are the first choices for a debit card for tourists in Iran.

Registering and reserving your DaricPay card is really easy: You just sign up on their website, write down your details, upload your passport picture and give your estimated arrival date to Iran and the desired location for picking up the card.

Usually most customers pick it up either at the International Airport Tehran or in their hotel. In my experience I chose the airport.

Before your arrival in Iran you will already get contacted by a DaricPay agent by Whatsapp or Email, and you agree on a meeting point after arrival in Tehran. It's noteworthy to say that their service quality and availability is fantastic (we're talking of the famous Iran here, nonetheless).

At the meeting point the agent hands over your DaricPay card along together with the receipt, all infos and even an optional Sim Card in case you want to buy one.

The agent then explains to you how the card works and also shows you how to install and run the DaricPay app on your smartphone and how to manage your transactions.

To be honest, I first was a bit suspicious if everything was really working or not (this agent could have been anyone, you know), but it turned out to be all OK. Before you hand over the cash to the agent you can also test the card on a ATM to see that it's really legit.

Then you pay the agent the wished amount of cash on your debit card, in case haven't decided to transfer the money beforehand. The cost for the card itself is about 20 EUR, which is a great deal for tourists who don't want to carry tons of cash with them through their whole trip.

In my case, Arya the agent, was even nice enough to take me with his car to my accommodation in Tehran.

Now in practice the debit card works just as any credit card or bank card you know from home. You can use it at every POS in shops, super markets or even street sellers (yeah, everyone in Iran uses cards) or you can simply withdraw at ATM from any Iranian bank. Purchases with the card on POS, card machines and so on don't have daily limits, but it's noteworthy to say that at the moment it's only possible to withdraw 2'000'000 Rials in cash per day from an ATM, which at the time was about 15 EUR. You will be surprised though that this is more than enough for your Iran trip.

You quickly learn the habit to pay with your DaricPay card for everything, and soon you will even learn how to pronounce your PIN in Farsi to the shop sellers.

During my 27 days trip I only experienced at one or two times that the DaricPay card didn't work, but often this was rather a problem of the POS or card machine. Therefore it's still advisable to have some withdrawn cash on you too (as I recommend to do everywhere in the world).

At the end of my trip I still had some remaining money left on my card (yeah, Iran is really cheap). When I got back to my homecountry Switzerland, I wrote to the agent i.e. customer service to refund me the remaining amount to my Paypal account, which worked super fast. For the Paypal refund a tiny fee will billed, like 2 EUR or so, but apart from that it's super quick and hasslefree.

To put it in a nutshell, DaricPay convinced me with an excellent and superfast customer service, easy to use card and app and saved me from the hassle of carrying tons of cash with me all the time.

Good service, delivered the card to the hotel in Tehran on agreed time. The card was functioning without any problems. The balance immediately appears at your account on their app.

Excellent company, I would use them again when I go back to iran

I found the Daric card very convenient during my trip in Iran. Card machines are almost universally used, and it saved on having to manage large amounts of cash. The customer support was excellent. I got in touch with the company very shortly before I departed, and I was met in the airport upon arrival to be presented with my card. You can monitor your spending using the app. The conversion rate is as good as you will find, though that changes with the 10% charge. Of the €200 I paid, 180 went on the card as credit and the rest was taken as the fee. Would recommend.

Contacting Daricpay was like a breath of fresh air. I was cycling from India to Germany via Iran. I had to traverse from Bandar Abbas to Turkey through Iran. Daricpay made my trip a hassle-free journey. Not having to carry a lot of cash and the freedom to travel across Iran and use a credit card just like a local was amazing.

DaricPay is an EXCELLENT choice for traveling Iran. Upon arrival they met me in the airport, I put 1000 EUR on my card and used it everywhere in Iran (without problems) for everything from street juice vendors to bazars, shops, museums and hotels. I also recharged it in Shiraz and Tehran. There were some minor hiccups caused by Iranian banking system and DaricPay provided swift, accurate and helpful solutions (trough WhatsApp).
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this service especially in times of instability in Iran exchange service.
