Always pleasant on the live auctions

Always pleasant on the live auctions. And prompt invoices sent out after auction ends. Sandra never demands payment like some auction sites do. All my items arrived in good condition and better than in picture. I seem to be getting items most auctions so I hope they keep up the good choices.

Terrible terrible company

Terrible terrible company, contacted them a number of times and never sent my parcel.
I've seen others have left bad feedback as well, please stay clear and keep your money safe

I have two tracking numbers for you and both are showing as DELIVERED!!!!!
Your items were dispatched on the 8th May. And received on the 12th May. At no point have you mentioned that your items havent been received, and you have left it this long to bring it to our attention???
As you will see from many of our other 5 star reviews, and the fact you HAVE received your items, it isnt us that are not trustworthy.
Oh and you failed to pay for your auction wins from auction C49 on the 12th May. Therfore you have been blocked. Mmmm now who's untrustworthy??

I have been using Darwen Auctions now…

I have been using Darwen Auctions now for a few months. I have found the process with them very good. They have been good with me. I went on holiday and they held my items till they got back. The guys are great and there has been on occasion where things went wrong but where quick on making things right as they do care. Sandra aka Sharon and Rick make the auction experience fun that’s why I keep coming back.

Excellent Company

I have been buying off this company for about 6 months, I have never encountered any problems, I was running late for collection on one occasion, I messaged, staff kindly waited for us
No extra cost was charged, communication are always been open ie.. for times and dates for collections, all products carefully packed, all staff I have found to be pleasant and would go the extra mile to assist you, I can not praise this company enough to be honest. To sum up,
Fair, friendly & Honest

I came across Darwen Auctions by chance…

I came across Darwen Auctions by chance nearly a year ago now and wow what a great place this is the online auction I always look forward to and Rik and Sandra are great at what they do the items are always well described and if any chips etc are always explained on descriptions so you know exactly what you are bidding on I have done both had items posted and also collected which I prefer even though I live over a hour away I prefer to collect and nip in to say hello to the team that work there have a look around they are so welcoming 👍👍

5 Star Customer Service

Good morning, I have known the owners for just over a year, they are phenomenal characters, & have the upmost respect for their customers. They go above and beyond, they even came to me in Nottingham to deliver my French Brass Cross. Thankyou for your time and commitments. Keep going strong your doing us all proud.

Great experience

Have been using Darwen Auctioneers for a few months. And honestly have had the best experience. Very helpful and communicative via emails. It's a fun way to buy items to resell, with their online auctions.Absolutely love it. I prefer to collect items from here, so I can then check out their little gem of an antique centre

BUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!

BUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!! Please read
Ok fair enough I got behind on a payment to start with BUT ! I settled up X 2 Invoices in 1 leaving me upto date , I explained to Sandra how I needed my items I had paid for as I had sold an item onwards for a good profit .
Sandra told me she has posted BOTH ! My lots paid for BUT upon arrival Sandra has split X 1 lot into x 2 parcels 📦 (deception) & lies .
I got on the phone and asked where is my other lot (paid for ?) , she said on way ? , I asked for tracking information numerous times and got no tracking information for my second lot ! (And waited another week for it) .
Darwen Auctions left me in a stuffed position as I had starting bidding on items on the next auction as I had sold one item I was expecting to a collector for a great profit (Sandra knows this ) , so after sending numerous emails & messages Sandra BLOCKED 🚫 ME ! .
My first lot ever purchased from them arrived smashed up (wall clock ) & my second lot ever purchased from them (JVC camcorder ) had mould inside the case & stunk .!
So what Sandra has done is seen I’ve bidded on future items , so she held back my lot (she told me she posted) , i suppose as an insurance for the bids I had placed upon , even though my lots was paid for and she told me it was posted ? (More lies )
This company cannot handle the auction side of things , they want all the money in the world 🌎 because there greedy but have no customer service skills .
Darwen Auctions you can keep my money ! As you obviously need it more than me or is it that you want the item I won back ? That I sold for a nice profit ? (Probably) , your greed and in-compassion for people will be your downfall in life and I hope 🤞karma comes around and gets you twice as hard , because in the end Karma always does so I’ll be waiting for that to happen, please don’t write a reply to this Sandra as there’s nothing you can say or do that i haven’t already mentioned (I’ll be counting down the days )
If anyone wants full proof of this I have all the messages via WhatsApp and emails .
3 weeks I’ve been awaiting for my parcel & over and over Sandra told me it was sent , well today I found out it got sent on the 20th lol (today being the 21st) , 3 weeks almost after I paid ? (But Sandra told me numerous times it was on my way ) , why would I pay £450 for my next lot of items when Darwen auctions have lied 🤥 consistently to me ? How do I know I’m going to get my items ? £450 is a lot of money! To lose .
Please look at over reviews left ! , some people haven’t even been paid for there items by Darwen auctions .
I don’t lie all I’ve said is the truth ! , and anyone is welcome to the proof & do I care if I’m blocked lol 😂 (no offence but you have done me a favour) , like I said Karma does come around ! , you can write your reply to this BUT you have lied multiple times to me .
The items I’m on about are in the parcel you held onto for 3 weeks !!! , you blame everyone else for your mistakes , the item I was on about was not the lots that have been delivered but the lot you held back as I made future bids , I think you need to take a CLOSE LOOK at your feedback!!!!! .
I was going to remove this post but now you have just angered me more from your lies !
I will be honest and I did eventually get my items OWED and payed for but only because I left feedback reviews on every social media platform going Darwen have links to , I hope you keep finding great items from your local dump to sell onwards again no lie !

Im glad you've got your items! Like I said, they were sent, and I can't be responsible for 3rd parties. But the comments you make about were our items come from is total and utter nonsense and extremely insulting to our vendors, but thats your opinion.
Also the opinion that people have of you, as per you own reviews on other companies says it all really.
You will notice that I have not insulted you in any way, but yet you feel that it's necessary to do so about me! You have left.your review now. Time to move on!

My reply is for the benefit of those who will read this and not you.
Firstly, I can't be blamed for you selling an item before you have received it. There could be any number of reasons as to why you may not have received your item, which may be out of my control.
It's unfair for the comment that we are able to handle the business as I am not the one selling items that I don't have in my possession.
Also we have an outstanding bill for you for £449.96 this is why you have been blocked (which took place after you writing your review) as you have still been bidding on our future auctions.
If we were that bad of a business you would not have been continuing to bid as of yesterday!
Leaving a review like this because you have been premature by selling something that you didn't own or had paid for at the time of your sale, is NOT my fault.
Also your parcels had ro go out separately due to their sizes and one of the parcles being very heavy. How is that deception?? There are tracking numbers for every parcel sent. So even if they went out as 2 parcels you have 2 tracking numbers!
One last thing. You have NEVER been blocked from contacting me in any way. You only got blocked you this evening due to your threats and lack of payment!
£449.96 is a lot to have OUTSTANDING when you are small family run business.
So for those who do read this. It may not be taken well, that you don't pay and or are late in paying!!!!
Finally. In our terms it states postage could take upto 10-14 working days. Which you have agreed to by ticking the box and then proceeding to bid.
I have checked the two items you are referring to and they are showing as delivered, with proof of delivery and one parcel awaiting delivery which will be with you before Wednesday.
If you want to talk lies and nonsense, I suggest you get your facts correct. In one of the parcels is the item you were so desperate for, so as far as I am concerned, items have been received, job done.
Yes you are blocked from our bidding platform for non payment, which will have effect in future bidding with other auction houses.

I have every right to give my experience of any company. As you are too.

Thank you for your dishonest and factually incorrect review.
Sandra,

Firstly you are not the registered buyer of the item that you have mentioned in your review therefore you should not be leaving a review!
Secondly, the item that was purchased was described as AF (as found!) This means that the items is untested and is being sold as found!
If you are unsure of the terminology, I suggest that you as the question, and taken you own advice!
Thirdly it does state very clearly in our terms and conditions that a condition report is available for ALL items.
And finally, it also states very clearly in our terms and conditions our fees, of which by bidding you have agreed to, therefore complaining about them after is unfair!!
The auction finished on the 11th March at 9pm approximately. A shipping quote was sent and payment received on the 12th March. The item was then shipped on the 15th March, which was within our 5 working day policy. I don't not see how this is unreasonable, we are not responsible for the item once is has been collected by Royal Mail.
I hope this clears things up for

The account is under a completely different name, as is the shipping name and address, not the one this review has been left under.
If you would have had the comon courtesy or decency to get in touch with us directly we would have been happy to resolve the matter directly, however you felt it best to tarnish us instead, a family run very small business of 3, trying to make a living.
It's a shame these days, that people are happy to leave reviews like such before speaking to people first.

Darwen Auctioneers 100% !

I have used darwen auctioneers for almost a year now absolute amazing place , fantastic staff who are willing to help no job to big or small. Prices are amazing also, visiting a lot of auction houses I am still to find 1 as good as this 1!

Darwen Auctions

I first used Darwen Auctions when a family member passed away. Sandra and Rick explained the whole process clearly. And acted with respect. We received payment promptly and was kept informed every step of the way. We have since bought and sold through the auctions and had no problems at all. Fantastic place highly recommend for all your needs

Darwen Auctioneers are unprofessional…

Darwen Auctioneers are unprofessional and totally lacking in customer service skills. I purchased an item in their May auction with post and packing. The item arrived smashed to pieces because it was inadequately packed. Trying to make contact with Darwen afterwards was almost impossible. They don’t respond to emails or phone messages.

If you use these, make sure you get it right, they do not allow for errors.
BUT BETTER OFF AVOIDING THIS LOT.
