Whenever I did not understand things, which was quite often, I would phone and was always greeted with kindness, patience and politeness. Whoever I spoke to always gave me the time to fully understand what they were telling me and they always explained things well.

Used Davies and Partners as my solicitors in a recent purchase of a new build home. Exchanged and completed within 5 weeks of my instruction (25th Sept-31st Oct), with a smartphone app to carry out all the signing required throughout the process.

I cannot speak more highly of Davies and Partners and in particular Paula Whiting who has guided us through a rather stressful move. The companies app made it quick and easy for us to submit the required paperwork and having the ability to sign most documents electronically from my phone allowed for a really user friendly process.
Paula has been a complete star! We have had several hiccups throughout our conveyancing journey due to a difficult buyer but Paula kept me informed at every stage of the process and was always available to take a call or respond to an email. As well as her professionalism, I would like to thank Paula for her kind words of support any encouragement throughout the last few months. I have always felt that she was working in the best interests of my family and took our own situation into consideration at all times.
I have never been able to write a positive review about a solicitors firm in the past and I am pleased to have found a company that I would gladly recommend to anyone. We will definitely be returning to Davies and Partners for our house moves in the future.

I have been buying and selling properties for over 40 years and never met a solicitor I would go back to and then fortunately for me with what turned out to be a very stressful sale I met Jessica Castella (Bristol Office). This lady is worth her weight in gold to clients; she is thorough, calm and her attitude to getting the job done correctly is exemplary. If you are buying/selling a property you will not get anyone better. My purchase took almost 10 months and Jessica literally kept me sane towards the end. Jessica thank you for everything you did - I feel very lucky you were the solicitor involved with my purchase.

We were recommended Davies and Partners and we could not recommend them highly enough. From speaking with Abigail at the beginning (communicative, clear and helpful) we were kept in the loop with everything and if we ever had any queries or questions no matter how small they were at the end of the phone/email. The stress of moving was somewhat alleviated due to Paula and Nicola's hard work and we really felt like they worked hard for us, without them our dream move may not have happened. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solicitor and thank you again for all your help.

If zero stars was an option I would use it. Utterly useless company, 3 years and 10 months and still no news on when our house will be registered with the land registry. I also emailed the complaints department, no response in over a year. Would highly recommend you DON'T use these people.

Found Davies and Partners prompt and helpful from the very start. As I was selling my Flat through a housing Association I did not have the normal support you would generally get from an estate agent and so I probably leaned on them more than is usual/ Particularly as I have never sold a property before - I was not sure of the intricacies - or what to expect. Every member of staff I spoke to or corresponded with were very patient. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Thank to Clare and her team at the (Gloucester Branch) for their kind support and hard work for the past months- they were brilliant with handling the process of me buying and selling. I was kept updated with everything and most importantly things were communicated effectively. We first met up with Lorna Lymer at Davis & partners. We were made very welcome and put at ease. Lorna guided us though a very tough time. She was always on the end of a phone or email and never once let us down, even down to the final outcome. I dealt with Davies and Partners, with their solicitor Lorna Lymer, for a personal injury claim following a serious collision with a car whilst cycling in 2016.

Lorna was exemplary throughout the entire process. This was a difficult claim due to a particularly aggressive defendant (insurance company) who throughout the entire claim treated me with utter contempt. She answered all of our emails, phone calls, every query etc quickly and in detail. Her experience was very much apparent and at no point in the process did I have anything other than complete belief in her and her ability to handle my claim. She selected a fantastic range of expert witnesses whose input undoubtedly helped substantiate my claim. She kept me fully informed throughout the entire claim via detailed emails and phone calls where necessary.

Lorna handled my claim with integrity and at all times was professional but most importantly always calm, reassuring and absolutely clear in her advice on how to deal with all aspects of the claim. The 5 year long process was incredibly difficult and challenging on a personal and mental level but knowing that I had a solicitor who knew what she was doing and was so professional and diligent in her handling of my claim was a genuine, huge help. Lorna kept her calm throughout and under what must have been difficult and highly stressful conditions at times.

Sadly Covid meant that we were unable to have a final face to face meeting to draw the entire process to an end. I would very much have liked to have expressed my gratitude in person. That said, even when remote meetings were required these still enabled Lorna to carry out her work to the usual standard that I become accustomed to.

Overall I cannot recommend the firm highly enough, and if you are in the unfortunate position of having received a brain injury I would highly recommend you seek out an appointment with Lorna, at the Gloucester branch.

Our experience with Davies & Partners (Bristol branch) was fantastic. Olivia Foote was professional and thorough with our sales and purchase.
