Not great!!! Will avoid 100% in the future

To the management of the vile restaurant. I will never come back again, luckily had a small meal of your biryani and I can honestly say.

Please learn what a biryani is first of all before selling one. Basically, I had pilau rice with a couple of bits of chicken and the slightest masala you could get away with. For £8.. really.

If you’re considering going to this dump as a customer. Wait… go to Tooting and places likes Mirach Masala, Watan, Spice Village, Lahore Spice instead. 100 times better food and atmosphere to this fake crappy Pakistani eatery.

Worst place to dine in

Had some guests and took them to this place, cramped space, didnt have a baby chair, setting is weird, you cant add chairs because not enough space, potion size is too small , not even 500g of karahi, served in small pots, biryani potions wayyyy too small, served in small sode plate, that too not full, gratuity added as 18 percent, when i asked ,lady said it was sales tax, THAT IS A LIE.. I had guests so couldnt argue, had to ask for plates, glasses ,spoons.. and they added gratuity??? Was not worth the price I paid for tiniest portion of meals.. what a JOKE! Wouldn’t recommend , taste 2/5, service 1/5, price 5000/5..! Horrible experience

Food poisoning

We had our 20 th anniversary food at this restaurant,,but turn out be the nightmare experience, my wife had a food poisoning and lasted about almost a week and myself had diaherea for about 3 days.

I would recommend everyone think before going to the restaurant, because they are using microwave to heating the rice dishes like biryani, they are supposed to finish at the pan .
So be careful everyone before ordering any food from them,
We Indian we had so much experience about the rice dishes, we got food poisoning from their food think about before you order anything.
I will also recommend council to investigate the food handling ratings as well.
Because we don't want anyone going through same problem after spending about £50 .
So please careful and thanking you 🙏

Poor Service and Careless Worker

I went to Dawat in Norbury today at roughly 1.40pm , and Ordered 1 Bheja and 1 brown Naan and Halwa as take away . They took So long to get such small order ready . And didn’t seem to know prices of things they sold , the boy who took my Order seemed Careless and kept chatting to his Colleagues when I would call him to ask anything ( name not known ) . They have this attitude especially with Women , and know they are a popular restaurant and will always gain Customers regardless of poor service. When I got home all the food was Cold and too much Halwa was in box ( sweet dish ) even when I had told the worker to not put too much in the Box . And this was not the first time I had experienced this kind of attitude. But previously I would just let it go

The main course came same as the starters though we said to wait.Nan was dried as bread. The cheeky sods did not say have to pay for the bottle on the table!QW believed the papadoms were free. But the water plus papadoms added to the cost.I had only 4 pieces of chicken in my chicken byrani. The mixed grill was too spicy. We argued regards the cost.Plus one plain plate of white rice for £6 is ridiculous.Pathetic.

Just purchased 4 vegetable samosas absolutely stale the pastry is like curry flavour chewing gum. Great shame get there early for fresh samosas or pay for stale chewing gum rubbish. Will put one in the oven to heat up and see if it makes any difference. Their biryani is also over priced Tandori corner Thornton Heath is half price and tastes much better. You are loosing your usually above dishes getting greedy
